The man, the phenom, the clothing-line model was doubly snubbed at tonight's 27th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, denied glory as a talk-show host and a game-show host.

Rosie O'Donnell of, yes, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," bested Regis in the talker category -- his last chance to win one with outgoing "Live!" co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. As for the game-show competition, would you believe the guy who does "Hollywood Squares" (uh, that would be Tom Bergeron) won? And would you believe that Bob Barker (aka the guy who does "The Price Is Right") also won?

Yup, that's right. There was a tie. So, to recap: Two -- count 'em, two -- guys (out of six nominees) were given Emmys for being great game-show hosts, and exactly zero went to the guy (uh, that would be Regis) who hosts that little thing called "Who Wants to Be a Millio
