SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 28, 2000 -- Actress Halle Berry is being investigated by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies in connection with a hit-and-run accident last week.

Halle Berry The felony occurred at North Doheny and Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood in the early-morning hours of Feb. 23, according to the sheriff's headquarters bureau. Berry, 31, was in the car, a rented Chevrolet Blazer, but it was not clear if she was driving or a passenger.

She received minor injuries and sought medical treatment, while the driver of the other car, a female adult, suffered a broken right arm and was treated at a hospital. Berry's rented vehicle was impounded pending further investigation, said Deputy Carlos Lopez, but no arrests have been made. Calls to Berry's spokesman were not returned.

As the TV "upfront" continues in New York City, ABC has announced its fall schedule, adding three new dramas, two new sitcoms and cutting back Who Wants to be a Millionaire to two nights a week.

CBS also has its schedule falling into place, with the network making its official announcement Wednesday. Fox Television will reveal its schedule on Thursday.

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 22, 2000 -- The "Angels" may never have seen their Charlie, but at least two of them got to meet Prince Charles.

Resident 'Angels' Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu got the royal treatment Tuesday when Britain's Prince Charles hosted the actresses at a palace dinner. The feast was the royal one's way to thank the angels for lending the film's London premiere for his Prince's Trust charity.

The third angel, Cameron Diaz, was a no-show at the event due to prior film commitments in the United States.

According to The Associated Press, the easy rider has accepted Hollywood Christmas Parade's invite to serve as its grand marshal this year.

"First of all I was shocked, and then I looked at my
