Actor/comedian Paul Reubens, best known as the goofy "Pee-Wee Herman," was charged with a misdemeanor count of possessing child pornography Friday along with veteran character actor Jeffrey Jones, who was charged with a felony count of using a minor for sex acts and misdemeanor possession of child pornography.

ABC's new comedy/game show You Don't Know Jack, starring Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman), got off to a good start Wednesday night as it won the 8:00 hour with two back-to-back episodes. The 8 p.m. opener pulled a 6.2 rating and an 11 share, while the 8:30 p.m. episode dipped to a 5.2/9. However, strong ratings for repeats of The West Wing at 9 p.m. (6.5/11) and Law & Order at 10 p.m. (8.8/15) gave NBC a win for the night.

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 24, 2000 -- He's a movie star, Broadway actor and multiple Tony Award winner. Now you can add one more title to Matthew Broderick's resume -- television's "The Music Man." Daily Variety reports today that the "Inspector Gadget" guy will star in the TV version of the Tony-winning Broadway musical "The Music Man."
In the telepic, Broderick is slated to play Professor Harold Hill, a con man trying to unload band instruments in a small Iowa town but instead falls in love with the town librarian. According to Variety, Broderick's wife, "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, is being courted for the role of Marian the librarian.
Broderick won two Tony Awards for his roles in the revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and the Neil Simon play "Brighton Beach Memoirs."
The three-hour "The Music Man" will air on ABC's "Wonderfu
