Filmmaker Bryan Singer is reportedly set to become a first-time dad.
The X-Men director will welcome a baby via surrogate with longtime friend Michelle Clunie, according to TMZ.com. Clunie is said to be seven months along in her pregnancy and the pair plan to raise the child together.
Singer, 49, has yet to comment on the report.
The happy news comes two months after New York police began investigating allegations from a man in his 20s, who reportedly accused the X-Men director of sexually abusing him during an incident in March, 2013. Singer's lawyer blasted the new accusations, which emerged a day after Michael Egan III voluntarily dropped his lawsuit against the moviemaker in August (14), after he accused the star of molesting him at a party in Hawaii back in 1999, when he was just 17.
