Internet porn boss Steven Hirsch has revealed he has spoken with Pratt about the explicit footage and hopes to do a deal with him to release it via his Vivid Entertainment company.
He tells TMZ.com, "I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag. We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal."
And Pratt tells UsMagazine.com, "I've been making films since I was in the seventh grade. I'm looking forward
to people seeing my directorial debut!"
The news of the deal comes just days after Montag threatened to sue her estranged husband if he went ahead with plans to write a memoir revealing details about his romance with his The Hills co-star.
Blazes have been raging across the country's forested areas since the beginning of the month (Aug10) due to an unprecedented heatwave, and movie bosses have decided to call off a planned shoot, which was scheduled for this week (begs09Aug10).
Production of the alien thriller has been axed for at least the next two weeks in the hope the fires will settle down - but Hirsch is worried about the residents of Moscow.
In a piece for The Huffington Post, he writes, "As of now, the average mortality rate in Moscow has doubled from its average to 700 per day. As if the sweltering, oppressive roast of the heat wasn't enough, enter the fires. All across Russia fires have been ignited in peat bogs, or underground marshes.
"With hundreds springing up per day across Russia - some of them even as close as forty kilometres outside Moscow - the country is under the merciless siege of a natural disaster.
"Most of the 16 million people of Moscow and the countryside surrounding it can't simply be generously put on a jet like me by a powerful corporation and flown across the world to a home of safety and fresh air.
"Most of the people will have to stay... May we in return have them stay in our thoughts and hearts through this disaster. And let us not forget what we may all be partially responsible for - the accelerated climate change of our fragile planet."
Montana Fishburne caused a stir earlier this month (Aug10) when it was revealed the 19 year old had shot her porn debut for a Vivid Entertainment DVD, entitled Montana Fishburne: An A-List Daughter Makes her XXX Debut.
And the aspiring actress, who decided on her career choice at 16, has proved to be such a hit, Vivid executives want to lock her into a longterm contract.
Company president Steve Hirsch tells TMZ.com the first 25,000 unit shipment of the porn DVD sold out across the U.S. upon its release last week (ends06Aug10).
The news comes days after it emerged friends of Montana's actor father had offered Vivid $1 million (£666,670) to buy up all existing copies of the raunchy film to save the Matrix star's blushes - but the DVDs had already been sent out to distributors.
The Survivor executive became a wanted man in Mexico earlier this month (Jun10) when a judge issued a warrant for his arrest following the death of his wife Monica, whose body was found in a sewer near the hotel where the couple was holidaying in April (10).
Beresford-Redman was ordered to remain in Mexico as authorities investigated the crime, but he escaped and resurfaced in Southern California, where he was found living with his two children.
Mexican officials subsequently charged the producer with the killing and they are now seeking permission from their U.S. counterparts to extradite the suspect so he can face the allegations.
A U.S. federal judge will hold a hearing to decide whether or not to approve the request, although Beresford-Redman's lawyer, Richard Hirsch, insists he will do everything in his power to fight the extradition.
The producer has denied any involvement in his wife's murder, and, in a recently-issued statement, he said, "I am devastated at her loss; and I am incensed at the suggestion that I could have had anything to do with her death. I am innocent.
"My children have had one parent taken from them by a senseless act of violence. I implore the Mexican authorities not to take their remaining parent by a miscarriage of justice and to do what is right not just what is expedient."
The Easy Virtue star joined actor Emile Hirsch among other celebrities for the charity climb - and now she has a checklist of adventures she wants to tackle.
She tells Glamour magazine, "I want to scuba dive a sunken ship. I would like to sail around some part of the world and live on a boat.
"I (also) have a love of Egyptology. I would like to go there (Egypt) and see the Pyramids. (I wanted) to be Indiana Jones and dig for bones and find mummies."
Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend's lawyers have sent a legal notice to bosses at adult film distributors Vivid Entertainment warning them they will be violating her right to privacy if they go ahead with the launch of the explicit video. The busty blonde is believed to have filmed the tape six years ago with an ex-boyfriend, who has not been identified.
But Vivid Entertainment boss Steven Hirsch is refusing to back down and is confident the sex tape was obtained lawfully.
Wilkinson has been working hard to clean up her image since her 2009 marriage to American football star Hank Bassett III and becoming a mum to a baby boy in December (09).
And now she's spoken out about the sex tape, revealing her husband has been helping her get through the scandal.
Speaking on her E! show Kendra, to be aired on the programme's finale on 31 May (10), she says, "He's doing a good job because he's understanding. He's like, 'Kendra, we just have to hold our heads high because, yeah, we're going to get attacked, but we can't run.'
"That was me, but that's not me now. It broke my heart because how can (someone) do that when I have a baby? It just sucks. It's the hardest thing to deal with right now. It's going to be really hard. It's going to probably be the hardest time of our lives."
Mexican officials, who ordered the Survivor executive to stay in the country as they investigated the murder of his wife Monica, have confirmed they have lost track of Beresford-Redman's whereabouts.
He is under suspicion for the murder after holiday-makers at the Moon Palace Resort told the authorities they had heard and seen the producer fighting with his wife days before her body was discovered on 8 April (10).
The family of the deceased woman are urging Mexican authorities to let the FBI help them with their investigations.
The missing man's lawyer, Richard Hirsch, tells TMZ.com that Beresford-Redman is back in California after Mexican officials allowed the producer to leave the country and attend to "personal matters".
The attorney says, "He has been informed that he has no legal obligation to remain in Mexico pending an investigation into the tragic death of his wife, Monica."
Penn was charged with battery and misdemeanour vandalism after a violent run-in with photographer Jordan Dawes last October (09). The actor was videotaped kicking the paparazzo.
On Wednesday (21May10), the Oscar winner pleaded no contest to one count of vandalism and has agreed to undergo 36 hours of anger management classes.
He'll also serve 36 months of probation and perform 300 hours of community service as part of the deal. His lawyer reveals Penn can complete his community service by continuing his charity efforts in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
If Penn successfully completes his probation, his vandalism conviction will turn into a lesser offence of disturbing the peace.
Under the terms of the deal, Penn must also stay at least 100 yards away from Dawes.
A restitution hearing over the photographer's camera and medical bills is set for 8 July (10).
Penn still faces a civil suit from Dawes, who claims he was seriously injured in the incident.
The actor's lawyer, Richard Hirsch, says, "Prolonging this matter in the court system would not have been in Mr. Penn’s best interests and would have distracted from his charitable commitments, specifically his work in Haiti. Accordingly he has decided to accept the terms and move on."
Executives at the company responsible for the release of Kim Kardashian's famous sex tape were sent a legal notice by Wilkinson's legal representatives at top law firm Lavely & Singer, warning them they'd be violating her right to privacy if they went ahead with the launch of the explicit footage. The busty blonde is believed to have filmed the tape with an ex-boyfriend, who has not been identified.
In the confidential letter, obtained and published by America's OK! magazine, Wilkinson's counsel Yael E. Holtkamp writes, "With regard to the intent... to release a video of Ms. Wilkinson engaging in sexual or other private and intimate behaviour, the Video is private and highly confidential... taken for private use and not for public disclosure."
The notice continues, "Exploitation of the Video... shall constitute a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson's Constitutional and common law right of privacy."
Vivid Entertainment co-CEO Steven Hirsch is refusing to back down and is confident the sex tape was obtained lawfully.
Responding to Holtkamp's warning In a note sent on Monday (03May10), Hirsch writes, "After reviewing our legal position, we remain confident of our right to distribute the Video. Thus Vivid.com plans to release 'Kendra Exposed' within the next several weeks."
The revelation has left Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend reeling after working to clean up her image following her 2009 marriage to American football star Hank Bassett III and becoming a mum to a baby boy in December (09).
A source close to Wilkinson says, "She is devastated and humiliated. This is her worst nightmare. As a new mum and wife, this is the worst scenario she could ever imagine. It's horrifying."
But Wilkinson's reps insist her legal team is not giving up the fight to keep the salacious footage private.
Her spokesperson tells OK!, "Kendra's attorneys are evaluating and pursuing her rights. During this difficult time, Kendra and her family would greatly appreciate the respect of their privacy."
The actress trekked to the top of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, in January (10).
She was joined by actor Emile Hirsch and members of the United Nation Foundation, to raise awareness and funds for the global water crisis.
And now she's set her sights on another dangerous climb - one of the Everest base camps in Nepal or Tibet.
She tells People.com, "I'm thinking about trekking to Everest base camp. That's kind of the next goal."
