Chinese actress Tang Wei has married South Korean director Kim Tae-Yong. The Lust, Caution beauty exchanged vows with the Late Autumn filmmaker on 12 July (14) on the remote Swedish island of Faro.
Their ceremony took place in the grounds of late director Ingmar Bergman's estate and was witnessed by organisers of the annual film festival named after the legendary moviemaker. Local residents attended a reception the next day.
The newlyweds, who shocked their Asian fans with their surprise engagement last month (Jun14), are expected to hold a second, private ceremony in the autumn (14).
Wei, 34, first met Tae-Yong, 44, on the set of Late Autumn in 2009 and they began dating last year (13).
It is Tae-Yong's second marriage.
