Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman has undergone treatment following a third skin cancer scare.
The X-Men star had a basal cell carcinoma removed from his nose last week (ends26Oct14), according to a representative who confirmed the news to Gossipcop.com. Jackman was spotted sporting a bandage on his nose during a walk in New York City on Sunday (26Oct14).
The Australian heartthrob first discovered a cancerous growth on his nose last year (13) and underwent surgery to remove it. He underwent a second procedure in May (14).
At the time of his second scare Jackman said, "I'm realistic about the future and it's more than likely that I'll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don't remember ever being told to put sunscreen on. But the beauty of this is it's all preventable, it's just about getting proper check-ups."
Actress Debra Messing knits her own sweaters because of her allergies. The former Will & Grace star has spent years struggling with sensitive skin, and she can't wear garments made of wool or cashmere without breaking out in a rash, so she makes her own using man-made fibres.
She tells the New York Post, "I knit. If I didn't make sweaters I'd go nuts. I'm allergic to wool, cashmere and angora, so I do acrylic."

Actress Renee Zellweger stunned onlookers at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Monday (20Oct14) after showing off a new look, making her virtually unrecognisable. The Bridget Jones's Diary star turned heads as she walked the red carpet with her music producer boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II as she appeared to have undergone a cosmetic procedure on her face to tighten her skin. The 45 year old has yet to comment on her apparent makeover.

British actress Sienna Guillory was so uncomfortable filming sex scenes for her new movie The Goob that she broke out in hives. The Resident Evil: Apocalypse star felt so awkward getting raunchy with her leading man Sean Harris in the independent drama that she became unwell and make-up artists had to quickly find a way to cover her itchy red skin.
She tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I'm having grubby sex for a lot of the film with Sean and I remember coming out in hives afterwards, literally full-body hives.
"The make-up artist was like, 'you're allergic to the actor'... but it's just about being comfortable, and I'm afraid I just wasn't."
Rocker Eddie Vedder has recorded a video appeal to boost fundraising for research into a debilitating skin condition. The Pearl Jam frontman sits on the board for the EB Research Partnership, which aims to raise $5 million (£3.1 million) to help those suffering from a painful disorder called epidermolysis bullosa.
In the video, Vedder stars alongside three EB sufferers and says, "When I first heard about EB, it was quite hard to grasp the intensity of the condition. It's about the most insane skin disorder you can imagine. And when you realise it also affects the internal organs, then you see it as diabolical."
Speaking about those living with the condition, he adds, "It's very hard to describe until you meet the young folks (sic) with it, and they make you realise how much you take for granted. You also realise these are some of the strongest, coolest, most admirable people on the face of the earth."
Former The Cosby Show sweetheart Raven-Symone has finally opened up about her sexuality in a revealing new OPRAH WINFREY interview, but insists she doesn't want to be labelled gay.
The actress sparked rumors she was a lesbian in 2013 when she wrote a cryptic message on Twitter.com celebrating the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to support gay marriage by striking down the Defense of Marriage Act. She wrote, "I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you." She refused to elaborate, but now Symone explains that although she is proud of being in a country where people of the same sex can marry in several states, she is not comfortable with labels about her sexuality or ethnicity.
She tells Oprah, "(The message on twitter) was my way of saying, I'm proud of the country. But I will say that I am in an amazing, happy relationship with my partner, a woman... (and) I am proud to be who I am and what I am... "I don't want to be labeled gay, I want to be labeled a human who loves humans. I'm tired of being labeled. I'm an American. I'm not an African-American. I'm an American. "I don't know where my roots go to. I don't know how far back they go... I don't know what country in Africa I'm from. But I do know that my roots are in Louisiana. I'm an American. That's a colorless person. We're all people. I have lots of things running through my veins. "I have darker skin. I have a nice, interesting grade of hair. I can connect with Caucasian, I connect with Asian, I connect with black, I connect with Indian. I connect with each culture."
British actress Tina Malone plans to undergo $80,000 (£50,000) worth of cosmetic surgery which will be filmed for a documentary exploring obesity. The Shameless star lost more than 11 stone (70 kilograms) after having a gastric band fitted four years ago but it left her with saggy excess skin.
Malone, 50, who gave birth to a daughter last year (13), also wants an operation to get rid of her remaining baby weight, as well as surgery on her eyes, chin, neck, breasts, underarms and stomach.
Speaking to Britain's The Liverpool Echo newspaper, she says, "They reckon I've got around 10 pounds of (excess) skin to get rid of. Then I won't feel like I'm walking around with two bags of sugar in my knickers!... However hard I work out, I am never going to get rid of (it)... I've never been a beauty. I never will be but, for the first time in my life, I want to make the best of myself and I'm really excited about that."
Despite the extensive surgery, the actress is adamant she is happy with herself, "This is not clutching at youth. I am comfortable with me - but I will be more comfortable when I have had the work done."
The documentary will air on British TV next year (15).
Actress Eva Longoria is reportedly undergoing laser surgery to remove the last of her skin art.
The former Desperate Housewives star previously got rid of tattoos related to her marriage to basketball star Tony Parker in 2012, and now she's decided to get more removed. A source tells OK! magazine that her new boyfriend 'Pepe' Antonio Baston isn't a fan of her tattoos, revealing, "He's been telling her that she would be more beautiful and sophisticated with clean skin... Eva's not into tats anymore."
