The latest film from multi-hyphenate Tyler Perry is one of his more accessible to date. Why Did I Get Married? may not attract a new audience to the Perry fold, but it should certainly play well with the pre-existing one, which has made him the successful entrepreneur he is today.

Less flash, more grit, The Order of the Phoenix is definitely the most introspective of the Harry Potter movies. If you’re expecting fast-paced wizardry action at every turn, however, you might be disappointed.

It’s hard to knock something as inspiring as a true story about a local guy, with no football experience, trying out for his home pro team and making the cut. But Invincible does nothing to improve on the already very tired sports underdog theme.

Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion provides little more than very good acting. Tyler Perry’s uneven story matches his uneven story-telling and makes one wonder how this really works so well on the stage.

As yet another underdog/family flick that tugs mercilessly at our heart strings, Dreamer just doesn’t offer anything new and exciting in this well-worn genre.

Maid in Manhattan doesn't give you anything new in the romantic comedy department but the lead actors are still engaging enough to keep you occupied.
