Michael Cera’s rising star just won’t stop. After hits like Superbad, Juno and Nick and Norah the Canadian actor is creating buzz again with a semi-secret comedy called Paper Hearts.
Cera stars alongside real-life girlfriend Charlyne Yi (aka the stoner chick from Knocked Up) in the indie flick described as part-documentary, part scripted comedy about their real-life relationship.
Why so much talk? According to the Hollywood Reporter this could be the sleeper hit of Sundance 2009 and the distribution rights are up for grabs. With the box-office pull of Cera and his Apatow-gang (like Paper Hearts director Nicholas Jasenovec) buyers and programmers are hopeful.
Other buzzworthy Sundance entries include Ashton Kutcher’s raunchy Spread, Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor’s doc I Love You Phillip Morris and Antoine Fuqua’s feature Brooklyn’s Finest.

Nearly 10 years after Heath Ledger’s breakout role in 10 Things I Hate About You, another young star will have a chance to shine in the part. Newbie Ethan Peck.
But Peck isn’t just another Hollywood dreamer. He’s the grandson of Oscar winner Gregory Peck (To Kill a Mockingbird). The ABC Family pilot based on the 1999 film (which was in turn based on William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew) will also star Lindsey Shaw, Meaghan Jette Martin, Kyle Kaplan and Nicholas Braun according to the Hollywood Reporter. Like the film, the story will center on two teen sisters, including the strong-willed Kat (Shaw) and popular Bianca (Martin), as they adapt to life at a new school. Braun will step in as Cameron, who’s crushing on Bianca, while Peck will play the hard-to-read Patrick who peaks Kat’s curiosity. MORE NEWS: So, Does 'Twilight' Suck?
