Simon Cowell has been bombarded with sickening messages on Twitter.com over a donation he made to a fund for Israeli soldiers.
The X Factor boss handed $150,000 (£88,000) to the Friends of the Israel Defence Forces (FIDF) at a fundraising gala in Beverly Hills, California last year (13).
However, the conflict in the Middle East erupted again this month (Jul14) and several protesters on Twitter have since sent the music mogul hate-filled messages and gruesome photographs of victims of the fighting.
One user told Cowell, "You have blood on ur (your) hands" and another posted a photo of a father holding his dead baby, alongside the message, "U (you) donated money to Israel to do this. Now imagine this was ur (your) child."
FIDF was founded by Holocaust survivors in 1981 and provides support for Israeli soldiers.
Kim Kardashian's sex tape co-star Ray J has been charged with a string of crimes related to his alleged bad behaviour in and outside a hotel in Beverly Hills in May (14). The Los Angeles District Attorney has filed sexual battery, resisting arrest, assault and vandalism charges against the singer following his rampage at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Police who arrested the star originally told TMZ.com that he would not be charged with sexual battery because his contact with a woman on the night in question was "incidental", but it appears the D.A. did not agree.
After leaving the hotel's bar, boozy Ray J allegedly kicked out the window of a police car and spat on an officer. The singer told TMZ.com he smashed the window because he felt claustrophobic.
Police were called to Justin Bieber's home in Beverly Hills, California on six separate occasions over the weekend (19-20Jul14) amid noise complaints and other disturbances. Local authorities received four individual calls from disgruntled neighbours concerning loud music and partying on the roof top of the superstar's new luxury apartment on Saturday night (19Jul14) and in the early hours of Sunday morning (20Jul14), but Bieber was not cited for the visits as he promised to keep the noise down each time officers turned up on his doorstep.
Police also had to return to the neighbourhood to investigate two other incidents, involving complaints about fans and paparazzi, according to TMZ.com.
Cops are no stranger to Bieber's pad - they were also called to investigate other noise complaints from angry neighbours last month (Jun14), when the Baby hitmaker hosted a star-studded bash with guests including boxing champ Floyd Mayweather, Jr., rapper Tyga, singer/actor Tyrese and American football star Johnny Manziel.
Bieber moved out of his last property in Calabasas, California earlier this year (14) following a string of run-ins with locals, who accused the 20 year old of being a nuisance by speeding his sports cars around the gated community, throwing wild parties and even pelting a nearby home with eggs. The egging incident recently landed him a conviction for vandalism. He was sentenced to five days of community service and 12 weeks of anger management counselling, and ordered to pay restitution.

Megan Fox handed control of her Twitter account to her agent to stop herself posting an "angry diatribe" online.
The Transformers star has shied away from social media in recent years, and she deleted her Twitter account in 2013 after just a week online, but she recently rejoined the website.
Fox has now revealed all her tweets have to be approved by her management team because she is afraid of posting a statement online that she might later regret.
She says, "I'm known for being passionate about some things so there is a chance I could write some angry diatribe in the middle of the night. I don't trust myself so my agent has the password and before I post something I have to ask myself 'Is this appropriate and acceptable?' and when everyone is thumbs-up, we then post it."
Veteran TV producer Bud Yorkin has been slapped with legal action from a former house employee amid allegations he was falsely accused of rape. Noe Massin was hired to work for Yorkin's actress wife, St. Elsewhere star Cynthia Sikes, at their Beverly Hills, California estate, but claims he was recently dismissed after rebuffing their daughter's advances.
He alleges the girl appeared at his bedroom door completely naked late one night and demanded to be let in. Massin refused, reportedly prompting her to run to her mother and accuse him of sexually assaulting her, reports TMZ.com.
The plaintiff was subsequently fired from his job and now he is suing Yorkin, demanding damages for defamation and back wages for unpaid overtime he claims he is owed.
Yorkin is known for producing a slew of hit U.S. shows, including All in the Family, Sanford and Sons and Good Times.

Rinna joins the likes of models Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville and actress Kyle Richards in the show, which follows seven women living in the glitzy California neighbourhood.
Rinna previously appeared on her own docu-series with her Mad Men star husband Harry Hamlin, called Harry Loves Lisa, and she also competed on two seasons of Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice.
Three people have pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct charges after allegedly hurling beer bottles at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home and shouting at a security guard. Connecticut residents Michael Horrigan, 29, Tristan Kading, 28, and Emily Kading, 26, were arrested outside the country hitmaker's beachfront property last month (Jun14). They appeared in a Rhode Island court on Friday (11Jul14), when they each pleaded their innocence. The court date took place weeks after Tristan Kading told TMZ.com their behaviour had simply gotten out of hand while they were drinking. The singer was not at home at the time of the incident.
Model-turned-actress Amber Valetta was addicted to drugs and alcohol at the height of her catwalk fame. The Revenge actress, 40, told a live seminar for wellness website MindBodyGreen.com last week (ends13Jul14) that she began trying to get high from glue and scented pens when she was only eight years old. Her habit took a turn for the worse when she moved to Europe at the age of 18 to pursue her modelling career, and cocaine and alcohol became readily available. The catwalk beauty, who fronted campaigns for Versace and Calvin Klein, says, "I was at the top of my game, probably 20 years old, had everything in front of me and I put everything on the line for my addiction. Everything. All my friendships, my family, my job. I had a multi-million dollar deal and I showed up the first day to shoot this campaign high and drunk. I didn't care. And that's just to show you that addiction takes you to the worst places... "I'm not a victim, I do not blame my parents, I don't blame my family, and I don't blame anything that happened to me that was negative. I think it does affect me and I'm sure it made me partially who I am and want to get out of myself, but I know for certain that I am an addict through and through. Even if I'd had this blessed and amazing childhood I'd still want to get higher, I'd still want to get out of myself." Valetta got sober at 25 but insists it is still a challenge to stay clean, adding, "My disease is only an arm's length away from me... I got sober and how I stay sober today 15 years later is that I continually turn inward and look at my disease because my disease shapeshifts."
Actress Laverne Cox is overjoyed after making Emmy Awards history on Thursday (10Jul14) by becoming the first openly transgender person to score a nomination for her role in comedy drama Orange Is The New Black.
The star, who plays transgender prisoner Sophia Burset in the show, will compete for the title of Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, while her co-workers Taylor Schilling, Kate Mulgrew, Uzo Aduba and Natasha Lyonne will also be in the running for acting accolades when the 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards take place in Los Angeles on 25 August (14).
Orange Is the New Black garnered a total of 12 nominations and Cox couldn't be more proud to be recognised for her efforts. She tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I'm on cloud nine. I'm through the roof. We're definitely part of a (cultural) moment."
"What a wonderful, wonderful day for Orange and for black trans-women. People are obsessed (with the show). Would you ever have thought a show about a women's prison would have this moment? It's unbelievable."
Cox's groundbreaking Emmy nod comes just weeks after she became the first transgender star to land the cover of Time magazine.
