Ever since the network cleaned house at The X Factor, Fox has been desperately searching for suitable replacements to fill the void Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, and Steve Jones left behind. And while several names have been tossed around throughout the past few months, the latest celeb on Simon Cowell's wish list is rumored to be none other than George Clooney's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler.
According to the New York Post, the former pro wrestler is said to be in secret talks to join the reality show, though no specific position was revealed. This means she could be up for either the hosting slot or even a role on the judging panel. But considering Keibler's lack of a musical background, insiders believe she'd be more suited as a host rather than a vocal expert.
“Stacy Keibler is also in talks to join the show, but her lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host," an insider shared with the newspaper. "She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”
But, to play devil's advocate, it's certainly possible Cowell wants Keibler as an actual judge. A few years back, Idol proved judges don't necessarily need extensive singing experience in order to give out advice when Ellen DeGeneres joined the panel. Perhaps the network sees something unique in the model, which could help serve as a ratings goldmine (Clooney never hurts).
Meanwhile, another insider added insight on other potential additions to the cast, "Talks are still ongoing with Britney [Spears], and she is asking for a lot more money, than was originally offered. But producers are confident Britney will realize this is a great opportunity for her to reinvent herself and accept their deal.” Spears was supposedly offered around $10 million to join the judging panel, but talks reached a deadlock after she demanded a $20 million payday.
Glee star Darren Criss was also reportedly offered a position on the show, however, he declined the hosting job due to his already hectic schedule. But if the network is hoping to find someone to fill those open positions they better do it soon since auditions are already under way for Season Two, though the official start date has yet to be announced.
What role do you think Stacy Keibler would fit into better: X Factor judge or host?

When Marvel's The Avengers hits theaters on May 2, fans will be lining up to see if the superheroes are as good as the ones in the comic book. But Wired contributor/archery coach Jim MacQuarrie has put together an exhaustive argument about the skills of Hawkeye, played by The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner. Apparently, he says, Jeremy could win the award for World's Worst Archer.
Jim teaches archery and after watching the film's trailer, as well as examining stills from the movie, says Jeremy "shoots like a rank amateur." Fans of the comic book will be happy to hear he doesn't think it's enough to ruin the movie, "but if they'd gotten it right, the film would be even better."
What do you think? Do you care if Hawkeye can't hold a bow and arrow correctly? Does it matter? Compare his technique to The Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence, who according to our interview with her archery coach "looks like a professional".
Kim Kardashian is not without a sense of irony. The reality star was seen rocking a blonde wig on March 12, mere days after Mad Men star, Jon Hamm, referred to her as an "idiot." And though it's doubtful the E! star donned a different hair color just for that purpose, you can't help but appreciate the humor of it all (insert dumb blonde joke here).
However, it's likely just a pleasant coincidence. Kim's been known to enjoy changing up her hair color every so often and even dyed her hair blonde back in 2009. And with her failed marriage to Kris Humphries well behind her now, she could simply be considering a fresh do for a fresh start. The color might soon become permanent.
In fact, the naturally brunette star tweeted about her hair change-up on March 12, writing, "I miss my real blonde hair. I might go lighter."
Do you prefer Kim Kardashian as a brunette or a blonde? Sound off below!

If there’s one thing that AMC has proven over the past several years, this generation loves bad guys. That’s why we can have movies and TV shows told from the point of view of some of nefarious villains. Continuing to riff on that trend, Disney has decided to give Sleeping Beauty's her own moment int he spotlight. The upcoming film Maleficent will star Angelia Jolie in the central role, a wicked witch with a bone to pick with the local ingenue. But no matter how much we love villains, every one needs a hero—and word has it that Elle Fanning is a possibility to fill that slot.
Earlier this year, after a few different possibilities tossed around, Robert Stromberg was hired as director. Now, Fanning is reported to be in talks for the role of the narcoleptic princess. The young star's career has skyrocketed in the past year. After starting out her career with just a bit part as a two year-old baby in her sister's hit film I Am Sam (Elle really went method for that role), she has come to be memorable for her roles in Super 8 and We Bought a Zoo.
Fanning is also not entire unacquainted with Jolie's family. She has starred in two movies with Brad Pitt: Babel and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. As Fanning told Interview Magazine, "I did Babel with [Pitt], but I never had any scenes with him in that movie because he was in Morocco filming and I was in Mexico. But there was one day when we were working on the same day, in L.A., and I got to meet him, so that was really cool. We're like, "We've been in two movies together, but we've never met each other!" Because we were both in Benjamin Button, too. He was really nice, though."
Don Draper might not be the pinnacle of “good boyfriend material,” but his portrayer Jon Hamm has been in a happy relationship for 15 years—and with a woman you probably know: Jennifer Westfeldt, the actress, writer and director behind the upcoming comedy film Friends with Kids, also starring Hamm, Kristen Wiig, and Adam Scott as the man who decides to enter the realm of parenthood with platonic friend Westfeldt.
Westfeldt is an interesting and accomplished artist in many fields, and a model individual for respectable celebrity personal life. And although you likely know her work, there might be a few things you did not know about Westfeldt…
She Directs, Writes, Produces and Stars in her Movies
Friends with Kids is Westfeldt’s directorial debut, but it is hardly the first time she has had multiple roles on the set of a film. Westfelt wrote, produced and starred in the 2001’s Kissing Jessica Stein and 2006’s Ira and Abby, both films about chaotic, misappropriated relationships that were rushed into on a whim—a theme that continues through Friends with Kids. It’s a wonder that a woman with such a passion for erratic, dysfunctional relationships has been in a happy and healthy one for 15 years.
She Saved Jessica Stein from Oblivion, Making the Movie Herself
Production on Kissing Jessica Stein wasn’t going well—the studio was hard on the offbeat project, eventually rendering it something that would likely never find form. But after the studio lost interest, Westfeltd and her partner Heather Juergensen bought back the rights to the film—which likely took a good deal of negotiation—and funded the project independently from intake on shares. As a result, we got the smart, original rom-com that launched Westfeldt’s multi-hyphenate career.
She’s Not Just a Movie Star: She Does TV and Theater, Too
One of Westfeldt’s earliest jobs was on the ABC sitcom Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, opposite Ryan Reynolds and Traylor Howard. Over the course of her career, Westfeldt has starred in several Broadway and off-Broadway productions, including Wonderful Town, for which she earned a Tony nomination for her role as Eileen.
She and Hamm Live Like Normal People (Which, as Celebrities, They Are Not)
Westfeldt and Hamm live together in a two-bedroom apartment in New York City—granted, Manhattan apartments are on the expensive side, but there is nothing overtly ostentatious about their home or the way they lead their personal lives. They deliberate about the decision to have children, make compromises for the relationship, and make a point to never go more than two weeks without seeing each other, despite their demanding work schedules.
She Is Descended from Swedish Nobility
Granted, this doesn’t have anything to do with her career or personal life, but it’s still a pretty interesting bit of information. The writer/actress comes from the noble family of Wästfelt, one of many lineages introduced at the Swedish House of Nobility and listed in the country’s Book of Peerage. Perhaps we might be in for a romantic comedy/drama about a noble Swede who hastily takes up with a commoner, to chaotic results?
With the new role of director on Westfeldt's plate, it is easy to assume that her career is still on the rise. Might this be the first of many directorial projects the writer/actress takes on? Could we be seeing more of her signature brand of romance and comedy on the big screen? Or maybe something different: a comedy about a long lasting relationship between two lauded celebrities. She's obviously done the research.

If you can't wait to see Jon Hamm pick up the martini glass again in Mad Men's March 25 premiere, you can catch the actor this weekend in his latest film project. Friends with Kids was written and directed by Jennifer Westfeldt, Hamm's girlfriend of 12 years, and he stars as a man whose friends decide to have a baby even though they aren't romantically involved.
While the couple has had babies on the brain recently, they aren't quite ready to start a family of their own -- though, Hamm would be more than happy to snatch one of your children for the day. Hamm told Extra, "I want to have other people's kids -- I want to borrow other people's kids for the weekend, not in a creepy way, just hang out and tell stories... give 'em back." He added, "I'm a fun uncle! A funcle!"
While the mothers of America would certainly love to see Hollywood's most dapper actor at the local playground, we'd need to see some references before letting him babysit. The only parenting skills he's picked up from Mad Men involve disappearing during birthday parties, flirting with elementary school teachers, and teaching kids to mix him an Old Fashioned.
A clip of Oprah Winfrey's upcoming interview with Whitney Houston's family members, including daughter Bobbi Kristina, has made its way online, offering a glimpse of the sure-to-be-emotional sit-down.
The 18-year-old -- whose emotional state has been the subject of much speculation since Houston's death on Feb. 11 -- recently agreed to the Q&A session with her mom's old friend, as did Houston's sister-in-law/"closest confidant," Patricia, and her brother, Gary.
Although the brief video, which you can watch below, doesn't provide much in the way of details, it's clear that Oprah won't steer clear of the questions a lot of people probably want to ask, including: "How did you feel about Bobby Brown?"
Catch the interview in its entirety this Sunday, March 11, at 9 p.m. on OWN.
Attending rehab isn't exactly out of the ordinary, especially among Hollywood stars. However, making a full recovery is, which seems to be exactly what Demi Moore and Gerard Butler are attempting to do.
Butler, who's out of rehab after being treated for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center back in February, was recently seen partying at Beachers Madhouse in L.A. around 1 a.m. But don't worry, he isn't about to relapse.
Onlookers told People magazine that the actor stuck to bottled water the entire time and chatted with the burlesque show's impresario, Jeff Beacher. Of course, the star attracted a fair amount of female attention, but Gerard seemed uninterested and left the club solo around 1:30 a.m.
As for Moore, she's also checked out of rehab at the Utah's Cirque Lodge, E! News reports. The actress first visited the celeb-favored treatment center in the days following her brief hospitalization after suffering from a seizure-like episode on Jan. 23. But hopefully those days are long behind her since Moore is now "on vacation" at an undisclosed location.
One source stated that Moore's "in no rush to get back to L.A.," and is "only talking to a small group of people." And although Moore's reps never actually divulged what prompted her to seek treatment, an insider claims she sought help for addiction issues and an eating disorder.
But now that they've gotten treatment for their various ailments, Butler and Moore appear to be on the road to recovery. Let's just hope it stays that way.

The Lost In Translation director's new project is based on the true story of a group of teens who stole from the homes of stars including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom in 2008 and 2009.
The Harry Potter star has agreed to appear in the movie and it is one of several new projects she is working on after the wizard franchise came to an end in 2011.
Watson will work with Potter director David Yates again in new drama Your Voice in My Head, and she is also in talks to play Belle in a big screen adaptation of Beauty and the Beast with Mexican moviemaker Guillermo del Toro.
Fresh out of rehab, Gerard Butler is wasting no time getting back to work. Variety reports that the Scottish 300 star has signed on to play the lead in Brilliant, a heist flick helmed by Robert Luketic, Butler's director on the critically reviled rom-com The Ugly Truth. Butler replaces Eric Bana, who had been tabbed for the starring role, a petty criminal who joins with a female thief to mount an ambitious diamond heist. We can only hope said "female thief" won't be played by Katherine Heigl.
Reports emerged last Friday that Butler had completed a three-week stay in the Betty Ford Center for an addiction to pills stemming from an injury suffered while filming the surf movie Of Men and Mavericks. Unfortunately for Butler, the addiction occurred far too recently to exonerate him for The Ugly Truth.
He can next be seen this April in the comic short-film compilation Movie 43. He's slated to begin work on Brilliant in Boston this May.
