Summer may be over, but the celebrity weddings are still in full bloom. Longtime funny guy, Seth Rogen, may have just had his movie 50/50 recently hit theaters, but the Hollywood star had one other very important thing going on this past weekend -- like his wedding! The hilarious actor got married to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Miller, in Sonoma, California on Sunday. The wedding took place in front of close family and friends overlooking a vineyard. Celebrity guests included Jonah Hill, Adam Sandler, Paul Rudd, and a source described the celebration, stating, "The wedding was more laughs than anything else. Every other line was a joke and the crowd couldn't contain their laughter. It was nonstop fun!" Not that surprising given the comedy all-stars who were in attendance.
Rogen and Miller have been together since 2004 and became engaged September 2010. In the past, Rogen has recalled the wacky details of how he proposed, commenting, "I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto, I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second. I couldn't have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like, 'Don't say 'Lord of the Rings!' Don't mention anything about a ring!" But like the characters he normally plays, Seth didn't stick to any traditional method of popping the question. He proposed to her out of the blue while she was changing in the closet and admitted, "I didn't picture it like this, and I know she didn't picture it like this. No little girl is like 'It'll happen in a closet with my [chest] out.'" But that's why we love him. Congrats to the happy couple!

Earlier this week, numerous sources wrote they had reason to believe Jessica Simpson is truly expecting her first child. But until we can either see a baby bump OR Simpson herself releases a statement confirming the news, there's really no way for us to know for sure. However, Us Weekly has now revealed a new detail about the singer's future wedding to Eric Johnson that seems to suggest she truly is expecting.
The tabloid claims Simpson has postponed her wedding to Johnson, but doesn't write that she did so because she's pregnant. Instead, it explains Simpson put the nuptials on hold because she had trouble figuring out what she wanted to do for her big day. A source said, "Everything is up in the air. She can't figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home." Another friend said, "She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she's gone dark. She won't commit to a date." However, what's important to remember is that if an engaged woman finds out that she's pregnant, she's going to consider holding off on the wedding for a while because she won't want to walk down the aisle with a belly, or have everyone's eyes on her when she's far enough along in her pregnancy to feel uncomfortable in her own skin. Additionally, a belly significantly reduces a pregnant woman's wedding dress options, and she might want to put off the ceremony until after she gives birth so she can fit into the dress of her dreams. But Simpson's sister Ashlee got married to Pete Wentz when she was in her first trimester, so a pregnant bride isn't unheard of. Actually, what is more unheard of is a bride who was once all excited about getting married, but somehow no longer is.

I hate to put a dark cloud on your Monday morning, but it is with a heavy heart that I inform you Kat Von D and Jesse James have broken up...yet again. If you recall, the tattooed lovebirds reportedly called off their engagement in July and then got back together in August after Von D's reality show L.A. Ink was canceled. Some thought the break up was all just a publicity stunt to help boost ratings for her show, but now it seems this fairy tale just isn't meant to be. Straight from the horse's mouth, Kat made it clear on her Facebook page on Saturday that she and James were no longer together, stating, "I am not in a relationship. And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion."
So what happened? "It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life," Von D says in her post. Being in a long-distance relationship may have also been a factor for the couple, since she lives in L.A. and he remains in Texas. The tattoo artist made it clear that, "I am not in any way moving to Texas. And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo." (Even in all her grieving, she still managed to plug her business. Impressive.) But despite their on-again, off-again relationship, there are no hard feelings between the two of them. Kat commented, "I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love." Stay tuned next month for another update on their relationship status.

On Thursday, Army Wives star, Kim Delaney, appeared at an event at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia to honor former Defense Secretary Robert Gates and was scheduled to give a speech about how hard it is for army families to go on with their lives after losing their loved ones during wartime. But as Delaney took her place at the podium and began to give her speech, it became clear that she'd been drinking because she was slurring her words and was inserting long pauses into her sentences. Additionally, her hair looked a little unkempt and she delivered her remarks in such a detached manner that she seemed completely disinterested in where she was. Furthermore, she also stated that she "served in active military family duty for five years," and "attended numerous military funerals," one of which was for her best friend's son. But then, Delaney clarified that she actually did none of those things -- it was her character on Army Wives that did.
Eventually, a movie started to play behind her and then a woman wearing a headset (probably a producer) went up on stage and beckoned Delaney to follow her off the stage. Numerous media outlets report her behavior may have been the result of her ongoing problem with alcohol, which in 2002 led to her arrest for suspicion of drunk driving and for refusing a breathalyzer test. Delaney pleaded no contest to the charges and has reportedly been to a rehab facility twice.
Delaney's publicist has declined to discuss the issue of her client's performance and appearance at the ceremony. But it's kind of almost better that way.
William Shatner is, in one way or another, one of the most iconic living actors. His distinct delivery, his infamous attitude, and his alternative career choices are all easy pickings for parody. And in his later years, Shatner has proven willing to laugh at himself. But he seems about ready to show us that he's more than a joke. And next season, through an episode of ABC's Rookie Blue, he will attempt to prove just that.
Shatner has been cast in the cop series' third season premiere. His character will be a drunk driver who is arrested by one of the central characters. Although the "bawdy drunk" is an inherently comical character, Shatner will not be playing entirely for laughs. The close of his character's story at the end of the Season 3 premiere will take a dramatic, presumably somber turn. The drama will likely come from a deeper look into the man's drinking problem.
The cast and crew has expressed excitement regarding this guest star spot and Shatner is no stranger to law enforcement television, as he immortalized T.J. Hooker.
Rookie Blue's second season finale debuts tomorrow (Thursday, September 8) at 10/9c on ABC.
It's been a long time since we've seen Chris Tucker in a movie and an even longer time since we've seen him in a watchable movie -- but that all may well change soon.
We've heard these 'Chris Tucker Eying a Role in [insert action comedy]' rumors before, but, well, Chris Tucker is eying a role in an action comedy. And another movie, too!
After almost five years since his last movie (Rush Hour 3), Tucker is reportedly considering joining the cast of Neighborhood Watch, the high-profile action comedy co-written by Seth Rogen and set to star Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Vince Vaughn.
More surprisingly, the Friday star is in negotiations for David O. Russell's dramedy The Silver Linings Playbook, adapted from the novel of the same name. Tucker would play Bradley Cooper's mental-hospital-patient friend in Playbook, which also has Jennifer Lawrence attached.

Last night Jimmy Fallon welcomed Christina Ricci to Late Night to talk about her braving Hurricane Irene despite her building's evacuation.
Also on Late Night, comedian Jim Gaffigan appeared to joke about his new baby, parenthood, Sara McLaughlin commericals, and The Jersey Shore.
On The Late Show, David Arquette appeared to discuss his decision to appear on Dancing With the Stars.
Finally, Letterman also welcomed Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza to the show to reminisce about her costumed meeting with Donald Trump.
After it was announced in January of 2010 that David Hasselhoff was leaving his spot at the judges table on America's Got Talent, it was reported that he was too busy to participate on the NBC show because he pursuing his own reality show. The Los Angeles Times confirmed the news that the Baywatch star had, in fact, landed a spot in A&E's programming, where cameras would follow him as he works to help his daughters (Taylor-Ann and Hayley) get their singing careers started. However, rumors that Hasselhoff's problem with alcohol was the real reason why he left America's Got Talent, and the still nonexistence of such a show on A&E only strengthened the suspicion that a drinking problem remained.
The Hoff's future perked up when he was cast as a judge on Britain's Got Talent in December of 2010, and of the new job, Hasselhoff said, "I'm a massive fan of Britain's Got Talent and am extremely excited to be a judge on the new series. I was so thrilled when Simon Cowell asked me that I immediately wanted to run into Ant and Dec's arms to celebrate." But unfortunately things must have gone south because today, we learned that Hoff has been let go from his position on the show. An insider told Perez Hilton, "David was a great booking at the time. We thought he'd bring loads of laugh and warmth but it didn't work out. He was fun but had no connection with the acts. The panel lacked sparkle and it was reflected in the acts that went through." The insider added that additional reasons for why the show felt a little out-of-whack was because David had problems understanding the contestants' accents, and the acts that the judges praised "were below par."
So what's next for the Hoff? As weird as it is to say, he can pretty much do anything. Lord knows he's certainly got a jacket for it all.

While promoting Due Date to Playboy Magazine last November, Robert Downey Jr. hinted that he and his wife Susan Downey wanted to have a child together pretty soon because he wanted to be "wrist-deep in doo-doo within 18 months." Already father to now 18 year-old son Indio (whose mother is Deborah Falconer, whom Downey Jr. was married to from 1992 to 2004), Downey said he probably would want his next child to be a girl because "I don't want another male entity to have to compete; I don't want Indio to feel there's another boy in my life. But I don't know what we'd have to do [to have a girl]. Do we have to put it in a spoon and hang it upside-down?"
Well whatever the Downeys ended up doing, all they can do now is wait because Radar Online is reporting that the couple is officially expecting their first child. Family members confirm that Susan's due in February, and her aunt told Star Magazine, "I think it's wonderful that she's pregnant. The baby is due in February. Susan's father, my brother, called me about three weeks ago with the good news. Her parents are over the moon about it." In terms of whether or not the Downeys continue to cross their fingers for a girl, Miller stated "It doesn't really matter if it's a boy or a girl. What really matters is if the baby is healthy." And that's definitely true -- but what's also definitely true is that his days of sulking around in Elton John music videos are over, and that's something that surely matters to everyone.

Stiller will be feted at a gala to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on 30 November (11).
