You can call Kanye West a lot of things, but "subtle" certainly isn't one of them. In fact, thanks to many a controversy since he burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s, West might be more renowned for his brash, abrasive mouth than his chart-topping music. Still, we can't help to appreciate West's bizarre brand of genius, whether he's interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, releasing a song about his relationship with Kim Kardashian, or waxing poetic about Persian rugs with cherub imagery. So, in celebration of the rapper's 35th birthday today, we give you, in random order, 35 of his most ridiculous moments.
1. West "doesn't care" about George Bush.
2. West has got your country right here, Gretchen Wilson! The rapper storms out of the 2004 American Music Awards after losing Best New Artist to the country singer.
3. Kanye kourts Kim Kardashian.
4. West crashes a stage. Europe cries foul.
5. West crashes a stage... again. Fans of country darling Taylor Swift (i.e. all of America) cry foul.

It seems Chris Brown's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, doesn't exactly "like" Rihanna. The aspiring model, who's been in a relationship with Brown since January, recently lashed out at the 24-year-old singer on her Facebook page in a not-so-subtle way.
Tran, 23, posted Nicki Minaj lyrics on her Facebook profile: "I'm Angeline [sic], you're Jen. C'mon you see where Brad is at," clearly referencing the famous Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston love triangle.
And while the post seems to have been deleted since then, another Rihanna-centric message has been put in its place with Tran writing, "Let me clear the air, if you have fenty at the end of ya name or your default Is Rihanna. you have a better chance of winning the lottery than ending up on my friends list." Ouch. Message received.
But it looks like this cyber attack didn't just come out of nowhere -- it may have been provoked. The posts came after Rihanna tweeted out a photo that could be interpreted as a racist jab at Tran's Vietnamese heritage. The picture, which debuted on March 3, featured a bag of rice cakes with gold earrings and black shades, along with the caption, "Ima make u my bitch."
Furthermore, Rihanna tweeted out lyrics from Lil Kim/Mob Deep's remix "Quiet Storm" on March 6, quoting lines like: "I'm a leader, yall on some followin s***…comin in dis game on some modeling s***!" possibly in reference to Tran's occupation.
Granted, this is all just conjecture, but there definitely seems to be bad blood between them. And while some could pass it off as just normal ex-girlfriend behavior, it could also provide a semblance of proof that Rihanna is looking to rekindle a romance with her former flame.
After all, the two of them recently collaborated on a song, which raised a few eyebrows as to the true meaning behind it. And let's not forget that Brown look-alike spotted in her "We Found Love" music video. There definitely could be more to all this than meets the eye.
What do you think of this social media quarrel? Is Tran simply marking her territory or does she actually view Rihanna as a threat?
