Born in the fall of 1977, Jones grew up outside Sacramento, CA as an only child. His skills on the basketball court helped his high school team to several high-profile wins, and eventually made him an All-City player. He enrolled at UC Berkeley in 1995, and played for the Golden Bears for three seasons before being awarded a full-tuition scholarship in his final year. Though he'd spent most of his life dreaming of playing for the NBA, his growing interest in acting led him to pursue it as a full-time career. His debut appearance on "Judge Mooney" failed to make an impact, and though it took nearly four years for him to land his follow-up gig on "One Tree Hill," Jones made the most of it; he played Quentin Fields, an arrogant jock who slowly redeems himself, on over fifteen episodes. Jones next portrayed real-life basketball star Brian Randolph in "Hurricane Season," based on the true story of a devastated New Orleans high school's unlikely run to the 2006 state championship, before learning the cheerleading ropes in "Hellcats." Since showcasing his dramatic talents as an abusive boyfriend in Tyler Perry's 2013 drama "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor," Jones joined the cast of "90210" for half a dozen episodes as media mogul Jordan Welland.

|"People kind of listen to me and take my advice which is based on logic, my experience and my mom. She was a counselor for 20-plus years, and she would always deal with me as a mom, then she would take off her mom hat and put on her counselor hat and just listen to me and deal with me as a person. I try to do that with other people." -- from VIBEVixen.com, March 29, 2013|
