Celebrities can either be notoriously rude/standoffish or exceedingly generous to their devoted fans. On one hand we don't blame them, because some fans can do creepy stuff, but on the other hand, we love a celeb who appreciates the people that got them to where they are. These celebrities went above and beyond (and some have several times) for their fans.

Romantic comedies: the genre we love, but don’t always like to admit we love. Let’s take a look back through all the countless meet-cutes, misunderstandings, and happily-ever-afters, and see how far we’ve come.
It Happened One Night
We like to call this the “O.G. romantic comedy.” Released in 1934 and starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert, this film established the blueprint for all future rom-coms. It was also the first film to get a grand slam at the Oscars – Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Best of all? It still holds up today! (And it’s streaming on Amazon Prime now, so go watch it).
Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy
These two were paramours on screen and off. Perhaps that’s why their romantic comedies with each other were so great. They paired up for a bunch of them in the 1940s and 50s (the best being 1942’s Woman of the Year) and perfected that whole opposites attract, bickering/bantering thing we’ve come to know and love in all our modern day rom-coms.
Rom-Coms Go Dark
The 1960s saw the rise of the dark romantic comedy. i.e.- The Apartment and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. They’re romantic, they’re comedic, but they’re touched with some sadness, too.
Doris Day and Rock Hudson
Conversely, the 1960s also saw the popularity of light, wholesome romantic comedies starring Doris Day and Rock Hudson. Their 1959 film Pillow Talk kicked things off.
The neurotic auteur put his own stamp on the genre in the 1970s with flicks like Annie Hall. But while we won’t be taking romantic advice from Woody Allen any time soon, we will be taking fashion cues from Diane Keaton.
Meg Ryan and the Faux Orgasm
We’ll have what she’s having. Meg Ryan single-handedly revitalized the genre with that famous scene in 1989’s When Harry Met Sally. She continued to be America’s rom-com darling all through the 90s alongside Tom Hanks in films like Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail.
Pretty Woman was one of the biggest moneymakers of 1990 and remains one of the most successful films of the genre. Julia Roberts stars as a hooker with a heart of gold, who finds love with the rich businessman who initially hires her as an escort. Ya know, just your classic fairytale romance.
The Pre-McConaissance Rom-Com
Before True Detective and Dallas Buyers Club established Matthew McConaughey as a “serious” actor, he was the go-to male lead in a slew of frivolous yet enjoyable romantic comedies including The Wedding Planner, How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Failure to Launch, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Never forget…
The Ensemble Rom-Com
Like a regular romantic comedy, only with a billion famous people and just as many flimsy plotlines. Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve are what we like to refer to as ensemble rom-coms. Really, it’s like 15 rom-coms for the price of one.
The Critically-Acclaimed Awards-Bait Rom-Com
A rare breed to be sure, but 2012's Silver Linings Playbook proved these films do exist. It wasn't explicitly billed as a romantic comedy, but anyone who’s seen the film knows that’s exactly what it was. Only, you know, slightly better than average with a side of Jennifer Lawrence.
Indie Romantic Comedies
Rom-coms for the more artistic set, where the structure isn’t always linear and the endings aren’t always happy. Films like (500) Days of Summer, Celeste and Jesse Forever, and Obvious Child fit the bill. We predict more of these in the genre’s future.

Do you remember the first time you watched Saw? The movie celebrates it's 10th anniversary on October 29th. With a handful of sequels, crazy twists, and gruesome deaths, it doesn't feel like the first film in the series came out that long ago, but it did.
I don't have the best memory, I tend to forget things pretty fast, but I can still remember convincing my mom to take me to the movies to see Saw with my 2 best friends. It wasn't the first R-rated movie we'd ever been too (over the summer she took us to see Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle) but it was the first horror movie we were seeing in theaters with that rating. We thought it was the coolest thing ever, but what else are you going to think when you're 13 and seeing a movie that everyone has been talking about? I spent about 75% of the movie hiding behind a bucket of popcorn, because as it turns out, I was terrified of gore and horror movies. When the doll rode up on his little bicycle for the first time and uttered the words we would all no doubt hear for the next ten years, "Do you want to play a game," I forced one of my friends to leave the theater for the excuse of a bathroom break. I remember gasping in the theater when they realized the point of the hacksaw was not to cut through their chains, but through their own bones.
As an adult, I can appreciate the film for what it is. Since first watching it, I've seen enough "scary" movies to satisfy me for a lifetime, yet I've never seen a movie like the original Saw. I've watch movies where people are being held prisoner. I've seen movies where people are killed in crazy, interesting ways. But I've never seen a movie that has such an intricate system for how the victims are first chosen, then how they're killed. In Saw, Jigsaw is not the direct killer. He gives these people, like Amanda (the only victim to survive and escape) a chance to get out, but the circumstances around those choices are tough. Do you kill someone else so you survive? These people also realize that they were chosen for a reason, whether it be drug use, cheating, or overall poor life choices, and that the person they thought was also a victim, might not be as innocent as once believed. The most shocking part of the film, which still gets me even though I've seen it a dozen times, is when you found out that the body laying between Adam and Lawrence was not in fact a dead body, as they first assumed when the woke and found the recorders, but it is Jigsaw. When he stands up at the very end and tells Adam that the key to unlock him was in the tub en whe woke up and went down the drain, before sealing him in the bathroom, I still get chills. It's easily my favorite movie in the series.

We turned the question to our amazing readers to see what Saw memories they had:
"Saw was the first horror movie I was allowed to see in theaters! I was so excited my mom took my friend and I to see it, as I was only thirteen at the time. It was a great movie, which I still love watching today! Not only was it scary, it was creative and original, which is hard to come by nowadays. The twist at the end had me completely mind blown and I couldn't wait to see the next movie, cause I knew walking out there would be a sequel, which was equally as good (also hard to come by nowadays). I wish we had more movies like the saw series in this decade!"
- Courtney Z.
"I remember the first time I went to go see Saw, I was on my way to my best friends house and she just bought Saw. Thinking nothing of it we were very excited to make some popcorn and have movie night! Little did we know that we would be clenching pillows to our faces and having nightmares for a few nights! It was such a great movie, especially with the unthinkable twist at the end. Great movies make great memories, I won't ever forget that night!"
- Jillian J.
"I first watched Saw in the theaters with my mom. I was only 14 when the movie came out; I thought I was too cool going to see a rated R film. I love the Saw franchise because it keeps you intrigued and on the edge of your seat, thinking who is behind this and how are they going to escape! The Saw movies are perfect for "scary movie night." I have had many Saw marathons with friends. "Want to play a game" (insert creepy voice)? No thanks, I'll pass."
- Kelly N.

You’d be surprised to find out how many actors work together multiple times. There are so many people in Hollywood and even more trying to break onto the scene, but these actors just love working together multiple times.
For the sake of not listing every Adam Sandler movie ever (that guy does movies with the same 5 people) or creating a Matt Damon/Ben Affleck bro-list, this list is strictly a man and a woman who have worked together. In most cases, the man and woman have always played love interests, or at least good friends (or co-crime fighters who protect the Earth from Aliens and HYDRA).

A website set up to warn Emma Watson she will be the next victim in the ongoing Hollywood photo hacking scandal has been exposed as a publicity stunt as part of a campaign to shut down controversial forum 4Chan.org. The Harry Potter star was put on high alert on Sunday (21Sep14), the day after she delivered a hard-hitting speech about feminism and sexual equality at the United Nations headquarters in New York, when a page titled, Emma Watson You Are Next, was launched on the same website where naked snaps of celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Gabrielle Union, Rihanna, Kate Upton and Kaley Cuoco Sweeting were posted.
The webpage featured the message, "the biggest to come thus far", alongside a turning wheel, suggesting the new photos were being uploaded to the site.
On Wednesday (24Sep14), the countdown came to an end and the page redirected to rantic.com, where operators called for 4Chan.org to be taken offline.
A post on the website, which declares itself to be a "social media marketing enterprise", urges visitors to "spread the word" and "join us as we shutdown (sic) 4chan and prevent more private pictures from being leaked".
It continues, "None of these women deserve this and together we can make a change."
Website operators have also published an open letter addressed to U.S. President Barack Obama, urging him to take action and prevent the further invasion of stars' privacy.
The note reads: "We have been hired by celebrity publicists to bring this disgusting issue to attention. The recent 4chan celebrity nude leaks in the past 2 months have been an invasion of privacy and is also clear indication that the internet NEEDS to be censored. Every Facebook like, share & Twitter mention will count as a social signature - and will be one step closer to shutting down www.4chan.org."
It is not clear whether explicit photos of former child star Watson actually exist and she has yet to comment on Sunday's threat, but the hacking scandal is currently under investigation by the FBI.
Pop star Ariana Grande insists she has no cause for concern when it comes to the ongoing nude photo hacking scandal - because she has never taken intimate snaps of herself. The Problem hitmaker was among those named in the first wave of explicit shots that were posted online last month (Aug14), but she assured fans the saucy snaps stolen from cloud storage devices purporting to show the singer posing seductively were fake.
A representative for Grande was quick to shoot down the speculation and the 21 year old herself later assured fans she was not the girl in the images.
However, other shots of stars like Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jennifer Lawrence, Kaley Cuoco Sweeting and Meagan Good are for real - and are part on an ongoing hacking scandal which is currently under FBI investigation.
The latest leak took place over the weekend (20-21Sep14), when victims included newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Gabrielle Union, Vanessa Hudgens, new mum Scarlett Johansson, pregnant Hayden Panettiere, Amber Heard and Rihanna, and cyber criminals have warned Harry Potter star Emma Watson she will be among the next celebrities embarrassed by the release of private photos.
However, Grande is adamant snaps of her naked body won't be plastered all over the Internet - now or ever.
Discussing the fake photos, she tells TMZ.com, "Those (leaked shots) weren't me, it was funny though. That's not my room, that's not my cat, that's not my belly button ring, that's not my hair, that's not my profile...!
"It is invasive but at least it wasn't me. I don't take pictures like that... I swear I don't, I promise!"
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been put on alert by the creepy hackers who have leaked hundreds of intimate snaps of stars this summer (14) - she has been told she's their next target. The grown-up child star, who delivered a hard-hitting speech about feminism and sexual equality at the United Nations headquarters in New York over the weekend (20Sep14), has been warned personal information about her will be among the next wave of photos leaked to the media.
A page titled Emma Watson You Are Next has been set up on the same 4chan.com website, where naked pictures of celebrities including Kaley Cuoco Sweeting, Kelly Brook, Kate Upton, Gabrielle Union, Rihanna and Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence were posted.
The page features the creepy message "the biggest to come thus far" and there's a turning wheel, suggesting the new pictures are being uploaded to the site.
The FBI is investigating the photo leak in an effort to track down the culprits behind the privacy violation.
One Direction star Harry Styles turned heads at a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (17Sep14) when he arrived with actress Daniella Monet, prompting speculation the former Victorious star is the singer's new girlfriend. Chris Pine and Zoe Kravitz were also spotted together at the gig, as was Coldplay star Chris Martin's reported new girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
