Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has two big reasons to be thankful over America's upcoming Thanksgiving holiday - she's a new mum and a new wife, according to reports. The I Know What You Did Last Summer star and Brian Hallisay became first-time parents on Tuesday (26Nov13) when Hewitt gave birth to a baby girl, and, in confirming the happy news, the actress' publicist has let it slip that the couple is now married.
She says, "Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband Brian Hallisay are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter. Autumn James Hallisay was born on November 26."
A source tells Us Weekly magazine the newlyweds recently exchanged vows in a private ceremony.
Hewitt and Hallisay began dating in 2012 when they reconnected on the set of the now-cancelled TV drama The Client List. They previously appeared together on the short-lived NBC series Love Bites.
The actress announced she was pregnant in June (13), a day before revealing her engagement to Hallisay.
"I got to avoid going to a wedding. I'd rather go to a dentist." Country star Blake Shelton is relieved he did not have to officiate at pal Kelly Clarkson's wedding as she had planned. Rihanna has pledged the big-figure sum to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and she is urging others to do and give what they can to help the cause.
A statement from the Umbrella singer reads: "Emergencies make headlines, but the recovery continues long after the news cameras leave. Having been a fan and supporter of UNICEF's work over the years, I am honored to join them in helping children who have been impacted by Typhoon Haiyan.
"More than five million kids in the Philippines need our help. UNICEF is there for them today, and for the long road ahead, and so am I."

Actress Blake Lively's father has become the first known patient to undergo genetic therapy to heal his broken heart. Actor Ernie Lively has battled health problems since suffering a massive heart attack in 2003, but thanks to a groundbreaking medical procedure he is now feeling better than ever.
The 66 year old tells People magazine only half of his heart has been functioning properly in recent years, sapping him of energy and making it a real task just to walk up a flight of stairs.
On 7 November (13), the father-of-four underwent retrograde gene therapy, in which a patient's stem cells are injected into the heart to repair damaged muscle and arteries, and he's already beginning to notice a health boost.
He says, "I woke up the other morning and told my wife, 'I haven't felt this good in years'."
And Ernie is now making big plans for the rest of his life, adding, "I moved to Utah because of the snow, but I haven't been able to ski. I literally didn't have the heart to do it. Now, I'm excited about living the rest of my life instead of sitting around."
And he can't wait for his youngest daughter Blake to start a family, adding, "She is newly married (to actor Ryan Reynolds) and wants a big family. She says she wants 30 kids. I said, 'Why don't you start with one?'"
Clint Eastwood's estranged wife Dina has broken her silence about stepdaughter Francesca's Las Vegas wedding regrets, insisting she'd like to wring the model's neck for all the drama she has caused. The 20 year old wed boyfriend Jordan Feldstein in a Sin City chapel on 17 November (13), but it appears the union is already over, with reports suggesting Eastwood is keen to get the whole thing annulled.
No one from the family has commented on the wedding story, but Dina Eastwood, who is currently in the middle of divorcing Francesca's dad, has opened up about the drama in a taped TV interview with U.S. chat show host Bethenny Frankel, during which she revealed the nuptials were little more than "a goof-off" that got out of hand.
In the chat, which will air on TV on 10 December (13), Dina says, "She's (Francesca) an adrenaline junkie. She's a lovely, smart, amazing person who will do a goof-off at a whim.
"Francesca would actually do something like that thinking that no one would ever find out. They don't get that they are tied to Clint Eastwood or that they have a little bit of success on their own. So she calls me and says, 'I didn't think anyone would find out'. (I said), 'Are you s**tting me? Like, what are you doing? Get home'. I just want to wring her neck, but I am going to hug her too."
And, like so many people, Dina refuses to believe her stepdaughter when she says no alcohol was involved in her shock decision to get married: "She says no drinking but she's 20, so of course she tells her stepmom no drinking."
The soon-to-be-former Mrs. Eastwood also dismissed reports suggesting the wedding was little more than a publicity stunt, as has been suggested by various media outlets, adding, "All the Eastwood children are out of the spotlight (and) don't like to do stuff (like that)."
Asked if the reports of an annulment are true, Dina adds, "I do think annulment, yes, is occurring as we sit on the couch."

Rap mogul Dr. Dre and his Beats Electronics partners have taken over the fabled Muscle Shoals Sound and FAME Recording studios in Alabama as part of a major redevelopment initiative. The brains behind the rap legend's accessories line will aid the renovation and revival of the music meccas, where Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, the Rolling Stones and Etta James, among others, recorded classic tracks and albums, as part of a new deal with the Muscle Shoals Music Foundation.
Beats Electronics bosses hope to return Muscle Shoals Sound Studio to a functioning recording space, and turn it into a working school for budding engineers and producers to learn studio skills.
Beats co-founder and Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine says, "Magic is a word that's too often misused in the record industry. Muscle Shoals is different; it's one of the rare places where it really exists. Any time you can capture such a distinct and authentic sound over and over again, that's something worth protecting."
Singers Julia Fordham and Judith Owen have teamed up to raise funds for the Philippines typhoon relief effort by releasing a duet of festive classic White Christmas. In the promo, which was uploaded to YouTube.com on Tuesday (26Nov13), the comedienne refuses to stay out of shot as her friends film with pianist Grant Mitchell.
Happy Ever After singer Fordham reveals she jumped at the chance to record the track with pal Owen, stating, "The Philippines is a country that has always been so supportive of my voice and songs."
Angelina Jolie has not made any attempt to purchase a heart-shaped island to mark her fiance Brad Pitt's 50th birthday, according to the landowners' daughter. The Wanted actress was reported this week (begs25Nov13) to have paid $20 million (£13.3 million) to buy Petra Island in New York as a gift for her longtime beau, who celebrates the age milestone on 18 December (13).
Jolie was allegedly drawn to the secluded location because it boasts two luxurious properties designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, whom Pitt is a great admirer of.
Owners Joseph and Barbara Massaro placed the island up for sale four months ago, but they have not received any offers - let alone from the superstar.
Their daughter, Donna, tells the New York Post, "I don't have any idea where that (report) came from. The family threw it out there (put it up for sale) to see if anyone was interested, and so far no (potential buyers) have (come forward).
Jolie has previously splurged her millions to spoil Pitt on his birthday - she allegedly purchased a waterfall in California in 2011 so the actor could build his dream home around it, just like the Fallingwater property Lloyd Wright built on a similar piece of land in Pennsylvania in 1939.
