"As soon as she got to the set, I had to sit topless on top of her. It was the most interesting love scene I've ever done." Penelope Cruz on posing topless with her acting idol Meryl Streep for a sexy magazine photoshoot.
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star gave birth to little Leo, her first child with actor husband Javier Bardem, in January, 2011, and she headed back to work just months later, reuniting with director Woody Allen to shoot his upcoming romantic comedy To Rome with Love.
Cruz has one other release scheduled for this year (12), the drama Venuto al mondo, and she admits making two films annually is more than enough to satisfy her acting appetite, because her perfect day involves "running around with my family at the beach".
She tells Harper's Bazaar magazine, "Maybe I'll make one movie a year, maybe two, but it's not going to be more than that because I have other priorities now."
Cruz and Bardem split their time between her native Madrid, Spain and their adopted home of Los Angeles for work, but the actress is adamant her baby boy won't be spending much time in California if she can help it.
She says, "When I come here (to Los Angeles) now, I have so many memories. Some of them good, some of them not so good. I have lived beautiful moments here, but I don't want to live here. It is not the place where I want to raise my kids."
The sexy Modern Family star wanted to adopt a more Hollywood-friendly accent and told one elocution expert she hoped to sound more like Mexican actress Salma Hayek or Spaniard Penelope Cruz - but her sessions were a complete waste of time.
The actress says, "When I moved to L.A. and I wanted to act I did want to work on my accent... so I hired a speech coach. He was super-expensive.
"(I spent) hours and hours, because it's not like you can do it one time a week; you have to do it, like, five times a week, three hours a day... It was the money most thrown away (sic). I got worse. Look at me now."

Longoria admits it was a tough time for for her but she's proud of the way she handled the heartbreak - because she didn't get sucked into the tabloid backlash against Parker.
She tells U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, "I think I handled it as gracefully as I could and it was painful but life goes on, and I always said I hold on to the love and not the loss. I think the press always wanted me to hate him and villainise him and I don't and I didn't."
The actress recently wrapped filming on the final season of Desperate Housewives and she admits her life after the show hasn't turned out quite as she had imagined - but she's embracing the change and is excited for the future.
Longoria says, "It is interesting because I am in a transition in my life. I am not married. I always thought I would be married by the end of Desperate Housewives. The show's ending, a lot of chapters are closing in my life so I'm at a point where I get to redefine who I am."
The actress is reportedly dating Penelope Cruz's brother Eduardo.
