Spanish movie star couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have named their baby daughter Luna Encinas Cruz, according to local reports. The little girl was born in Madrid on 22 July (13).
Reports suggest Bardem registered his daughter's name in the city on 30 July (13).
Luna translates as moon and the child takes both her parents' surnames - Encinas is Bardem's first surname.
Cruz and Bardem wed in July, 2010. Their first child, Leonardo, was born the following year (11).
Penelope Cruz has stepped behind the camera to shoot a sexy lingerie ad for Agent Provocateur. The 39-year-old new mum teamed up with her sister, Monica, to shoot the racy five minute clip, which features Spanish actor Miguel Angel pretending to have X-Ray vision thanks to a pair of magical sunglasses.
His lenses allow him to see women wearing only underwear from the Cruz sisters' L'Agent collection.
The commercial also features sexy Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Irina Shayk and a cameo from Monica Cruz, who was nine months pregnant when the ad was filmed. The actress sisters' brother Eduardo composed the music for the short film.
Opening up about her directorial debut, the Volver star says, "I just didn't want to show the beautiful bodies of models. I wanted to tell a story that could help you connect to what the brand is about.
"And I got my sister a few days before she gave birth. I thought she wasn't going to make it. But she was there, she felt fine... I had her on the set for two hours. She looked so beautiful."
New mother Penelope Cruz has made her directorial debut by taking charge of a short film starring her husband Javier Bardem. The couple, which became parents for a second time earlier this month (Jul13), has teamed up to shoot a promotional film for lingerie brand Agent Provocateur.
Cruz, who designs a line for the company, took charge of the shoot in her native Madrid, Spain and directed Bardem opposite her heavily pregnant sister Monica.
The campaign film marks the Oscar-winner's directorial debut and it was truly a family affair as the star's brother, Eduardo, composed the soundtrack and their mother, Encarna Sanchez, helped out on set, according to WWD.com.
Cruz says of the film, "(It was) very personal and important for me, a very interesting experience. They gave me all the freedom and I was able to tell the story I wanted to tell."
The actress gave birth to her second child, a daughter, in Madrid on 22 July (13).
Gwyneth Paltrow's close friend and personal trainer Tracy Anderson has split from her husband of two years. The celebrity fitness guru, who has also worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Richie, wed Matt Mogol in 2011, but the couple has now parted ways.
Her representative tells UsMagazine.com, "It's with great sadness that Tracy has confirmed the separation between herself and her husband, Matt.
"The well-being of the daughter that they share, as well as her son, will always remain Tracy's first priority.
"We appreciate the respect of Tracy and her family's privacy during this immensely heartbreaking and painful time."
Anderson and Mogol are parents to one-year-old daughter Penelope, while the trainer also has a 13-year-old son from her first marriage to former basketball star Eric Anderson.
These past 27 hours have skulked by more slowly than an amateur croquet match on a scorching summer day in St. Helier. The dreadful anticipation over the first glimpse of Kate Middleton and Prince William's newborn baby — a boy, born Monday afternoon — has anchored such a weight to the public that we had no discernible choice but to glue our eyes to a livestream of the Lindo Wing door of St. Mary's Hospital in London, where the royal couple has been situated since yesterday. But finally, after hours of obsessive eye-drop application and neglect of all worldly responsibility, we got a look at the new prince.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerged from the building shortly after 7 PM local time — the latter wearing a bespoke cornflower blue crêpe de chine dress from designer Jenny Packham (a possible homage to the late Princess Diana) — to share a glance at their son and some expressions of cheer. "He's got way more hair than me, and Kate's looks... thank God!" Prince William joked with the hordes of reporters gathered about the hospital doorstep, adding, "He's quite heavy."
After showing off the yet unnamed baby ("We're still working on a name. We'll have that as soon as we can," William said), the new parents retreated back into the hospital to load their son into a car seat before taking off (with William behind the wheel) to start their life anew. "You guys can all go back to normal now," William said, "and we can look after him."

She tells People.com, "She's a really good mix between my husband and me. When she's with him, you see him, and when she's with me, you see me. She's a perfect mix. We think she has my mouth, but it's hard to tell. Even the colour of her eyes, they are different in different light. But she has a really full set of hair."

She adds, "I'm still in shock. When I got the call I wasn't sleeping because I was breastfeeding my daughter. It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the news at the same time. When (my manager) told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed."
Action star Jean-Claude Van Damme headed to Macau, China on Saturday (06Jul13) to scout for fresh talent for his next project at the Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. The Double Impact actor served as a presenter at the prizegiving, touted as the Indian version of the Academy Awards, but he reveals he was also on the look out for new faces to cast in his forthcoming movie.
He says, "India has great actors and actresses and it is a great country. We should be honoured to have Indian actors in our film. We are going to make a film (called) Luxury Meets Justice and India is a big market and should be a part of it."
The Belgian martial arts expert is keen to delve further into Indian culture by starring in his first Bollywood film.
When asked about the possibility of such a venture, he told reporters, "I hope so. It will be a pleasure."
Van Damme isn't the first Hollywood actor to express interest in Bollywood - Brad Pitt previously admitted he was impressed with the "drama and colour" of Indian movies, while Penelope Cruz is indulging in her love of the culture by working on a big screen adaptation of the book Passion India, which she plans to shoot in the Asian country.
Saved By The Bell, Knight Rider and Punky Brewster are among the TV series set for a return to pop culture in the form of comic books. The shows, as well as Miami Vice and Airwolf, aired on U.S. network NBC during the 1980s and 1990s, and now TV executives have teamed up with chiefs at Missouri publishing house Lion Forge Comics for a new project to revive the five programmes.
Digital forms of the comics will be available for e-book purchase later this year (13), reconnecting fans with some of America's most-loved characters, including Miami Vice detectives James 'Sonny' Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs, Saved by the Bell's Zack Morris, who was portrayed by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Soleil Moon Frye's Penelope 'Punky' Brewster.
Comic book executive David Steward says, "From hugely popular characters such as Crockett and Tubbs, Zack Morris and Punky Brewster to highly stylised music and clothing choices, these TV franchises have had a significant impact on pop culture. We here at Lion Forge are looking forward to extending that influence by creating visually appealing and entertaining experiences on mobile devices for a whole new generation of fans."
