Eva Longoria's ex-husband, basketball star Tony Parker, is engaged to marry. The Desperate Housewives beauty split from the Frenchman in 2010 after three years of marriage and their divorce was finalised the following year (11).
Parker is now ready to wed again after popping the question to his girlfriend Axelle Francine.
On Wednesday (26Jun13), Parker sparked speculation he is heading down the aisle after tweeting that his favourite thing to do to unwind after a game is to "spend time with my fiance (sic)".
A spokesperson for Parker's Texas team the San Antonio Spurs has since confirmed the engagement.
Since the divorce, Longoria has been linked to Penelope Cruz's younger brother Eduardo.
Sam Mendes has confirmed reports suggesting he is in talks to direct the follow-up to hit Bond film Skyfall. The moviemaker insisted he would not be back for Bond 24 shortly after the release of the last film in the 007 film franchise, which became the most successful in series history - but now it appears he's softening to offers from producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
At the London premiere of his new theatrical reworking of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Tuesday (25Jun13), Mendes revealed he hasn't ruled out a return to the world of Bond.
Asked if he would be making the next Bond film, he said, "I don't know yet. I'm in discussions over the 'B' word (Bond), and I won't make a decision until this (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is open."
The only certainty about the new Bond movie is Daniel Craig will be back as the superspy, while reports suggest Penelope Cruz is being courted as a Bond girl. Cruz is married to Javier Bardem, who played villain Silva in Skyfall.
What is Ridley Scott + Cormac McCarthy + Brad Pitt + Michael Fassbender? The answer is the upcoming thriller The Counselor. The first teaser of the movie has just been released (initially only available in Russian-- блин!), and all we can say is this movie looks intense.
Directed by Ridley Scott and penned by No Country for Old Men author Cormac McCarthy, The Counselor tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender) who gets involved in drug trafficking. Along the way, he meets the likes of Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz, and Penelope Cruz, who plays his love interest.
The trailer is only 44-seconds long, but it is incredibly action-packed. From dead bodies on highways to a crazy-haired Javier Bardem (seriously, does this guy ever play a role that involves normal hair?), The Counselor looks like the Southwestern answer to Scarface. We see both cheetahs and Cameron Diaz in a cheetah-print dress, crawling across the hood of a bright yellow sportscar.
The Counselor is set to be released on October 25.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is set to return to the New York stage as a pregnant cyclist. The actress has signed on to star in the Off Broadway transfer of award-winning playwright Penelope Skinner's London hit The Village Bike, which premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 2011.
In the play, Gyllenhaal will play a frustrated housewife, who explores the countryside around her home on a second-hand bicycle while fantasising about her sex life.
Previews for The Village Bike will begin next May (14) at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is in talks to become the oldest Bond girl in the untitled 24th 007 movie. A source close to the production tells blogger Perez Hilton the Vicky Cristina Barcelona will get up close and personal with Daniel Craig and steal Honor Blackman's title as the oldest Bond beauty.
If the rumours are true, pregnant Cruz will have to bounce back to her pre-baby weight after giving birth to her second child with husband and Skyfall bad guy Javier Bardem in time for the start of production next summer (14).
Reports suggest Sam Mendes is reconsidering not returning to direct the next Bond film, and Sony Pictures boss Amy Pascal recently confessed she has been trying to persuade Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow to become the first female to helm a Bond movie.
The collective minds behind the James Bond universe have taken note: Skyfall was a triumph. Critically revered and fiscally explosive, the 2012 movie marked a renewed enthusiasm for Agent 007. As such, it probably wouldn't be too terrible an idea to take a few pages from the film's book for the next go around for Bond. We've got Daniel Craig on board for at least another few Bond movies, so that's a lock. Skyfall director Sam Mendes? Yes, even though he said he wouldn't do another, he's rumored to be returning for the next Bond adventure. And while it would be illogical to bring back the movie's ill-fated villain Silva, played by Javier Bardem, Bond 24 might be doing the closest feasible thing: casting Bardem's his wife, Penelope Cruz.
Yahoo UK reports from a source close to production that Cruz could be joining the cast as the next "Bond Girl," a title at once belittling and celebrated. What is most encouraging about this move is Cruz's age: at almost 40, she will be the oldest actress to take on a Bond girl role, hopefully expanding the nature of the position (often serving as little more than fresh faced eye candy and a source of sexual tension with the much older James Bond) to that of a more venerable character.
On the other hand, Cruz could easily pass for like, 28, so it's not as though they're really shifting gears all too rigorously.

Rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs has cleared up confusion surrounding his claims he was set to star in Downton Abbey by debuting an online spoof featuring him parodying the hit U.K. period drama. The hip-hop star announced on his Twitter.com page on Wednesday (15May13) that he was to become a series regular on Julian Fellowes' British show, only for TV bosses to deny the claim.
Combs has now revealed his prank was to promote a new FunnyOrDie.com skit, which he unveiled to fans early on Thursday (16May13).
He declares, "Last week it was reported that they have cast the first black cast member... (Gary Carr) - the only problem with this is I already broke down that barrier. I'm the first black cast member... and I got the scenes to prove it."
The rapper then introduces a series of clips from 'Downtown Abbey' which he appears in thanks to computer trickery - and his character, Lord Wolcott, causes a stir in the online show.
In one scene, Combs, dressed in smart period costume, turns down the advances of Rob James-Collier's character Thomas Barrow, while in another he appears to host "the first ever white party" for the cast.
He later recommends Hugh Bonneville's Earl of Grantham invests in upcoming company International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) and then offers Dame Maggie Smith and Penelope Wilton's characters a sip of his own-brand Ciroc vodka - before asking them to kiss.
Penelope Cruz's model sister Monica is celebrating after becoming a first-time mum. The Volver star, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Javier Bardem, was reportedly by her sister's side when she welcomed a baby girl at the Ruber International Clinic on Tuesday (14May13), according to Spain's Hola magazine.
The pair's mother, Encarna, and brother, Eduardo Cruz, also stopped by the hospital in Madrid, Spain to show their support.
Monica, 36, announced her decision to become a single mother in January (13) after revealing she had turned to an anonymous sperm donor to get pregnant after fearing it would be "too late for motherhood" by the time she found her perfect partner.
Pregnant Kim Kardashian has shared her parenting fears in a touching online tribute to her own mum Kris Jenner on America's Mother's Day (12May13). The reality TV star is due to give birth to her first child with rapper beau Kanye West in July (13), and admits that she is "nervous and anxious" about impending motherhood.
But despite her nerves, Kardashian is excited to be a mother as she is convinced she "learned from the best" - and she took to her blog on Sunday (12May13) to heap praise on Jenner, as well as her grandmother MJ and sister Kourtney.
She writes, "As I'm counting the days until I finally get to be a mother, I'm a bit nervous and anxious but also excited knowing that I learned from the very best... Motherhood is a gift and I know after watching my mom do it, it's not easy especially when trying to balance a career. I'm honored to follow in her footsteps and make her proud like I am of her.
"Kourtney, my sister, best friend, and mentor has also taught me so much about motherhood from being the most incredible mom to Mason (three) and Penelope (10 months). She is super woman with her ability to effortlessly balance work with taking care of two amazing kids and I am so lucky to have her as my guide and confidant as I too become a mother.
"And also my wonderful grandma MJ, such a strong and inspirational woman in my life! I love you so much!"
Funnymen Mike Myers and Dana Carvey put aside years of feuding as they reunited at a Wayne's World panel discussion in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday (23Apr13). The former Saturday Night Live regulars played music lovers fronting an amateur talk show in the hit 1992 comedy, which was followed by Wayne's World 2 in 1993, but were reportedly never close and fell out over the years.
There was also a rift between Wayne's World director Penelope Spheeris and Myers, who allegedly tried to block her from joining the sequel, but all three proved there were no hard feelings as they were brought together for the question-and-answer session.
At a reception, they mingled with former Wayne's World castmates, including Rob Lowe, Lara Flynn Boyle and Tia Carrere, before stepping onstage at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater to answer questions from fans.
Rumours of in-fighting were not addressed, but earlier this month (Apr13), Spheeris said of the event, "We're all getting too old to be p**sed (angry). Wayne's World has such a beautiful, uplifting spirit about it. Why should there be a dark cloud? This is going to be cathartic. Everyone's going to walk out of there high - sort of like they did when they watched the movie."
Tickets for the reunion sold out in 90 seconds, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
