Hollywood hunk Josh Lucas has incurred the wrath of his former director Sam Sokolow after criticizing his 1997 movie The Definite Maybe.
The Sweet Home Alabama star slammed the Sokolow and Rob Lobl-directed film,
which flopped after its release.
He said, "I've been in many movies that were never, ever released. They were
horrible. They were, like, unwatchable.
"The one with the worst title was The Definite Maybe. It's about two idiots
who go out to the Hamptons to try to, like, buy a house. It was ludicrous.
Embarrassing. I think there's literally some bad VHS somewhere with a photo of
me: 'Josh Lucas is The Definite Maybe."
However, Sokolow has fired back, claiming Lucas was desperate to be in it: "Considering that he was on his hands and knees thanking us for casting him in the lead, we certainly appreciate that such a significant actor as Josh even remembers the film. It brings to mind the night in 1997 when we wrapped and he
called me 'the greatest director I ever worked with'."
