Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is moving on from her failed marriage to Chris Martin by embarking on a new romance with Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, according to reports.
The Shakespeare In Love star has remained close to Coldplay rocker Martin since they announced their 10-year marriage was over in March (14), but she has since started stepping out with TV executive Falchuk, who she allegedly enjoyed a weekend getaway with in Utah in late July (14).
They were also recently spotted sharing a "flirty" dinner at East Borough restaurant in Los Angeles. A source tells Us Weekly magazine their relationship "started off professionally" in 2010 when Paltrow made her first guest appearance on hit musical comedy series Glee as substitute teacher Holly Holliday, but they recently began dating following the finalisation of Falchuk's divorce to his wife Suzanne, who filed to end their 10-year union last summer (13).
A representative for Paltrow, who has two children with Martin, has yet to comment on the claims.
Glee stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison dated years before they became TV student and teacher on the hit show. The singer/actress has confirmed long-standing rumours the couple once dated in her new book Brunette Ambition, after previously insisting the romance stories weren't true.
Michele, who at 27 is eight years younger than Morrison, comes clean as she recalls landing the role of Rachel Berry in the TV musical. In an extract of the new book obtained by Us Weekly, she writes, "When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."
Michele previously insisted she and Morrison were never more than friends and the romance rumours were made up, and he also shot down the rumours of a pre-Glee fling with his co-star in a 2010 Parade interview, stating, "I got a call from my publicist (about it), and she got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, 'What the f**k?' It's so laughable." Michele went on to date Monteith, who died following a drug overdose last summer (13).
Soul legend Stevie Wonder will fulfil late Montreux Jazz Festival founder Claude Nobs' lifelong wish by headlining this year's Swiss event in July (14). The 48th annual music festival will also feature Pharrell Williams, Robert Plant, Damon Albarn, Outkast, Chris Rea, Herbie Hancock, Van Morrison and Massive Attack.
Nobs, who died following a skiing accident last year (Jan13), famously tried to book Wonder for past festivals, but could never afford him.
Announcing the line-up at a press conference on Thursday (03Apr14), festival director Mathieu Jaton said, "We tried to get Stevie many times."
But seats for the soul man's Stravinsky Auditorium concert on 16 July (14) aren't cheap - they go on sale on Friday (04Apr14) at $510 (£319) each.
Sex and the City has not only made huge stars of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, and Cynthia Nixon, it’s made them icons. Who hasn’t wondered if they are a Samantha, a Miranda, a Charlotte, or a Carrie? Spoiler alert: not everyone can be a Carrie. Regardless, the show was not just a major part of television history but also a major show casting in New York City. It has attracted actors that went on to be major players in Hollywood and huge A-list stars.
Everyone remembers The Good Wife star Chris Noth on the popular sex comedy. Who can forget Liza Minnelli’s random cameo in the Sex and the City movie? Here’s a list of some of the major celebrities who have popped up on the hit HBO show that you might not have realized.

Bryan Cranston won rave reviews for his performance in All The Way after its opening night on Broadway on Thursday (06Mar14). The Breaking Bad actor impressed critics with his portrayal of America's 36th President, Lyndon B. Johnson, in the Bill Rauch directed play about the struggle to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Cranston's performance was hailed as "effortlessly captivating" by theatre critic Mark Kennedy at Associated Press, while Joe Dziemianowicz at the New York Daily News called him "a force to be reckoned with".
USA Today's Elysa Gardner writes, "Strutting gut-first and affecting a gruff Southern drawl, the leading man delivers the emphatic, crowd-pleasing performance that the play, and Bill Rauch's vigorous direction, require, while also making Johnson affecting as a flesh-and-blood human being."
Hermione Hoby at Britain's Daily Telegraph writes, "The play might be a star vehicle but its star delivers. It's thrilling to watch Cranston go from his default, comic stance of forward-thrust hips and slumped shoulders, to fearsome, chest-puffed, confrontation."
A star-studded audience was in attendance, which included Gayle King, Josh Lucas, Jennifer Morrison, Chris O'Dowd and Hank Azaria.
The production - which also stars This Is Spinal Tap's Michael McKean - is due to run until 29 June (14).
In a nice bit of stunt casting, Prince appeared on the post-Super Bowl episode of New Girl. The story saw The Purple One invitings Zooey Deschanel's Jess and Hannah Simone's Cece to a party at his mansion. According to the show's producers, Prince is such a fan of the show that he contacted them about being included in an episode.
He's certainly not the first music industry icon to show up on a scripted television show, but he might be one of the most unexpected. Having someone of Prince's stature cast himself in a guest spot on a sitcom opens the doors for other legends to jump into parts on the small screen. Here's our wish list pairing other musical royalty with the TV show that we'd like to see them pop up on.
Bruce Springsteen, The Good WifeThe show featured some of The Boss' new music on its January 12 episode in an effort to promote Springsteen's latest release. Know what works even better to promote your music? A real live appearance. Springsteen has been goofing off with Jimmy Fallon recently, so he's not as averse to putting himself out there as he used to be. Springsteen could easily show up in a story line protesting Chris Noth's Peter Florrick's policies as governor… and maybe share a moment with Julianna Margulies' Alicia.
Beyoncé, ScandalKerry Washington's Olivia Pope doesn't have many female friends — or really friends at all — as she manages one crisis or another for her D.C. clientele, so it might be nice to have one of her childhood friends drop in on her. Bey has acted before, most notably in Austin Powers in Goldmember, so we know that she can handle more than just a quick walk-on. Give Mrs. Carter and Washington some ample screen time together and it might be the most glamorous match-up since Dynasty went off the air.
Bono, Parks and RecreationGranted, this might not have been on this list before Amy Poehler decided to make out with the U2 front man after winning her Golden Globe… but now that we've seen that, how can you not want more? Plus, just the idea of Bono being stuck in Indiana is funny. Have his limo break down in Pawnee, let Poehler's Leslie Knope try to recruit him for some cause, and if they happen to end up making out, well, there's nothing wrong with that.
Lady Gaga, GleeShe's hosted Saturday Night Live and joined the Muppets for a holiday special, so Lady Gaga has done her fair share of small screen work. Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has repeatedly shown how much of a fan of her music he is. With ratings declining for the show, it would be a boon to have Gaga appear as a rival glee club coach and torment Matthew Morrison's Will Schuester.
Justin Bieber, 2 Broke Girls
The kid needs to change his image, that part cannot be denied. When Britney Spears needed some good pub, she did an appearance on How I Met Your Mother. When Miley Cyrus was transitioning to her sexed-up adulthood, she did a stint on Two and a Half Men. Biebs needs to be seen making fun of his image and his missteps. There are worse ways to start the repair work than by taking a tongue lashing from Kat Dennings' Max.
Glee star Matthew Morrison proposed to his fiancee during a romantic horse-back ride in Hawaii. News of the actor/singer's engagement to Renee Puente emerged back in June (13) when Sir Elton John and Coldplay star Chris Martin dedicated a song to the happy couple during the Rocket Man's annual White Tie and Tiara Ball in London.
Morrison has now spoken out about his romantic proposal, revealing he popped the question a month before the party during a vacation in Hawaii.
He tells Britain's OK! magazine, "I wanted it to be perfect and it was. We were on a horse trek in Maui and she wasn't expecting it at all. We tied the horses up and took a little walk on the beach and I knelt down and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me... She couldn't breathe for a little bit... then I asked her again and she said yes... I'm a pretty darn cheesy romantic."
Morrison goes on to reveal they have to wait until 2015 to get married because he is so busy.
He adds, "It's going to be a small wedding... But it won't be until early 2015 because my schedule is so busy."
The pre-votes are in, and we finally have the nominee list for the 2014 People's Choice Awards thanks to the People's Choice blog. And man, oh, man is it a hefty list.

The 40th annual show will be hosted by 2 Broke Girls stars Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings on CBS on Jan. 8 at 9 PM. Final voting ends on Dec. 5.
Actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth has a new man in her life after taking Kevin Spacey's film producer pal to Matthew Morrison's Halloween party as her date over the weekend (26-27Oct13). The petite blonde joined her former Glee co-star Morrison for his annual masquerade soiree at Hollywood hotspot Warwick on Saturday (26Oct13) and she openly kissed and cuddled with Dana Brunetti, a producer on the upcoming film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Chenoweth, who has been single since splitting from U.S. reality star Jake Pavelka in February (13), attended the bash dressed as a SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) team member, while the industry executive, who heads up Spacey's Trigger Street Productions firm, donned a Star Wars Stormtrooper outfit, reports Eonline.com.
Brunetti wasn't the only guest drawing inspiration for his costume from Star Wars - actor Chris Colfer went as R2D2.
Other partygoers included JC Chasez and Lauren Conrad, while host Morrison dressed up as Andy Warhol and his fiancee, Renee Puente, portrayed the revered artist's muse, Edie Sedgwick.
Rocker Joan Jett has given her personal seal of approval to pal Chris Stein's new photo exhibition in Hollywood after encouraging fans to check out the Blondie star's work. The guitarist has shared a treasure trove of rare photos depicting the underground music scenes in New York and Los Angeles in the 1970s for a special display at the Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel.
Stein launched the show on Friday (09Aug13), with guests including Jett and his bandmate Debbie Harry, and now the I Love Rock 'n' Roll hitmaker has taken to her Facebook.com page to spread the word.
In a post on Wednesday (14Aug13), she writes, "Hi All, I went to see my friend Chris Stein's photo exhibit and it was amazing. For anyone who doesn't know, Chris is a founding member of Blondie, and his photo documentation of his incredible journey is something you should not miss.
"The exhibit will be up at the Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel for another week and a half. I can't recommend it enough."
