There’s nothing sexier than head of thick, silky hair to run your hands through, right? Wrong.
Don’t get us wrong, we do think great hair is hot. Think George Clooney, Patrick Dempsey and John F. Kennedy Jr. — all very, very sexy men with equally amazing heads of hair. But while a great head of hair is on many a woman’s dream man wish list, it’s definitely not a deal breaker considering the incredibly underrated population of very sexy — and very bald — men out there.
We’ve even got the proof to back it up — first of all, there’s Matt Damon in the new film Elysium. But if that’s not enough for you, here’s some science:
According to a study published in the Journal of Social Psychological and Personality Science in 2012, society sees men with shaved heads as being more “manly.” Participants in the study repeatedly ranked cue-ball men higher for “masculinity, strength dominance and leadership potential.”
Guess that’s why Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis, and The Rock are all action flick first picks. Guess it also makes sense, then, how Bryan Cranston went from Malcolm in the Middle‘s dopey dad to everyone’s favorite meth manufacturer, Walter White. After all, it does take some major cojones taking that Gillette to the head.
