Recent reports suggested the EuroTrip star was "smitten" with the singer/songwriter, who has dated a string of top beauties including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.
But the actress' rep insists rumours her client was spotted cosying up to Mayer during a recent night out at Los Angeles hotspot Soho House have been blown out of proportion.
The spokesperson insists the pair chatted for a mere five minutes, and the relationship is purely platonic.
The rep tells the New York Post, "They've known each other for years."
U.S. magazine Life & Style reports Blunt will become Mrs. Krasinski, Underwood will exchange vows with ice hockey ace Mike Fisher in Georgia and Vazquez will wed her longtime boyfriend, basketball star Carmelo Anthony, on the same day.
The publication reports Vazquez will wear a Vera Wang gown for her big day.
She says, "It's so exciting that everyone is getting married on this date."
The date has an ironic twist for Underwood - 10 July is her former love rival Jessica Simpson's birthday. The two singers clashed over reports the country star still received texts from her ex Tony Romo while he was dating Simpson.
The busty blonde regularly shows off her curves in sexy outfits onstage, but she insists she has no intention to ever strip for the camera, no matter how artistic or important it is to the movie's plot.
She tells Allure magazine, "I will never do nudity. I don't care how dark and intellectual the role could be... I don't care if I frickin' could get an Oscar for it, I'm not going to do it. Those accolades mean nothing to me."
And Simpson, whose father Joe is a Baptist minister, has promised to keep her assets under wraps, joking that only her future second husband will get to see her in all her glory.
She adds, "I don't think people deserve to see what's under my clothing. That's only for my next husband!"
And it appears her next husband is in for a real treat - not only does she look great naked, she's a terrific performer in the bedroom, according to ex-boyfriend John Mayer.
In a recent Playboy magazine interview, the rocker described Simpson as "crazy" in bed and admitted he would happily pay for sex with the star because she was like "sexual napalm" in bed.
The rocker has been mired in controversy following publication of the interview, in which he used the 'N' word when talking about his African-American fanbase, and revealed lurid details about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
Mayer also used the interview to single out Robinson Peete for praise, calling her "gorgeous", and the TV star was initially flattered when she found out about the musician's crush. She told E! Online: "I'm levitating. John Mayer thinks I'm hot."
But she has since read the full article and is fuming about Mayer's "racially charged" comments.
She tells People.com, "(Mayer's comments about me) went from a compliment to being an insult. I foolishly and impulsively commented on a sound bite from the interview and I didn't know the context at all.
"I was disgusted and offended. It was beyond inappropriate. I went from flattered to flat-out p**sed.
"This guy has some major issues to sort through and a whole lot of apologies to make. I heard some apologies about the N-word, and I've seen him crying, which seemed sincere. But I don't know if he understands how much he hurt black women's feelings."
Robinson Peete also revealed the rocker has now reached out to her to explain his behaviour - but she is not accepting his apology.
She adds, "He was very remorseful about the fact that I was inadvertently tangled up into this mess. He reached out to me via email. At this point, it doesn't feel right for me to totally accept his apology. It's time for him to really just drop the frat boy act and take responsibility for everything that he said, no matter how painful it's going to be for him."
Rocker John Mayer has risked the wrath of ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson by opening up about their sex life -- admitting that the singer/actress was "crazy" in bed.
Mayer confesses that he fell for Simpson almost as soon as he met her in 2006, but their romance failed because she was like "a drug" for him.
He tells Playboy magazine, "(Simpson was like) a drug. And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.
"Sexually, it was crazy. That's all I'll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, 'I want to quit my life and just f**kin' snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f**k you, I would start selling all my s**t just to keep f**king you.'"
The couple split in 2007 after nine months together, and Mayer went on to enjoy a relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

See-Saw Films and Bedlam Productions have begun principal photography on The King's Speech, starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter, Jennifer Ehle, and Guy Pearce.
Tom Hooper is directing from a screenplay by David Seidler. Hooper directed the HBO mini John Adams and the recent feature The Damned United.
The film is based on the true story of King George VI and his friendship with maverick speech therapist Lionel Logue. As the second son of George V, Prince Albert was not expected to ascend to the throne, but when his brother Edward chose to abdicate to marry Wallis Simpson, Albert was his successor and in 1936 was crowned King George VI. The reluctant king, who was plagued with a nervous stammer, engaged Logue, an irreverent Australian, who helped him find a voice with which to lead the nation.
See-Saw's Iain Canning and Emile Sherman and Bedlam's Gareth Unwin are producing. The film is shooting for seven weeks in various locations around England.
The Weinstein Company and the UK Film Council present the film in association with Momentum Pictures, Aegis Film Fund and Molinare London. TWC and Film Nation have international sales.
Jessica Simpson is reportedly "sad, mad, and confused" after Tony Romo finished their relationship.
The pop star was allegedly dumped by the Dallas Cowboys quarterback on the eve of her 29th birthday on Friday.
The 20-month romance came to an end after Romo reportedly found text messages from her former love John Mayer on her cell phone.
And the singer has taken the split badly, and has turned to her close-knit family to get her through, according to People.com.
A source tells the Web site, "Jessica was really blindsided. She's sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place.
"She is holding up okay. She is with her family. They are -- as always -- very supportive of her. She's gone through heartache before. She wants someone who is on the same page that she is. If she has to move on for that, she will."

As I first projected Friday night, the Coen Brothers have delivered their best opening weekend ever with the well-reviewed Burn After Reading (Focus). After a strong $6.5M Friday, the star teaming of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, John Malkovich spy comedy received a 24 percent bump to $8M Saturday, and Focus expects the movie to finish the three-day with $19.4M. That is easily the best wide opening on Joel and Ethan's resume, topping Lady Killers ($12.6M) and Intolerable Cruelty ($12.5M). Although tonally Burn After Reading is more similar to Fargo and The Big Lebowski, there is no question that the commercial success ($75M) of No Country For Old Men, not to mention those four Academy Awards including Best Picture, have made the eclectic work of these auteur brothers must-see with a much broader audience.
Tyler Perry Studios and Lionsgate have met industry expectations with an $18M weekend for Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys. This represents a real breakthrough for the Atlanta-based movie maverick because there is no "fat suit in drag" character in The Family That Preys. Instead, this is a far more sophisticated drama about the intertwining of two families--one black, with Alfre Woodard as matriarch, and the other white, featuring Oscar winner Kathy Bates as head of family.
Hollywood execs like to look down their noses at Tyler Perry and his Gospel-infused, low budget pictures, but it should be pointed out that he knows his audience, has a near spotless box office resume (Daddy's Little Girls his only "miss" with $11.2M), makes his movies for a price, and he retains ownership rights of every project. He is a mogul to be reckoned with, and the critics have not completely dismissed The Family That Preys with a not-wful 40 percent Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. Perry has a reasonable shot at generating a domestic cume of $45M-$50M, which makes it a good solid hit.
In the No. 3 spot for the weekend is the critically-reviled Righteous Kill (Overture) starring Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, which performed far better than its score of 23 percent Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes would indicate. The business model of producer Avi Lerner and his Millennium Films --give big paycheck to big stars in order to get them to commit to underwhelming material - apparently works...sometimes. Overture reports $5.9M Friday, a softer-than-expected 10 percent Saturday bounce to $6.5M and the relatively new distributor forecasts $4.1M Sunday. Righteous Kill 's $16.5M almost matched the $16.9M total domest gross of Lerner's spring bomb 88 Minutes (also starring Al Pacino). Clearly, putting Pacino and DeNiro on the marquee has sold tickets.
Righteous Kill has a shot at $37M-$40M domestic, which would make it the second-best Millennium take in the last two years, trailing only Rambo ($42.75M cume), and ahead of bombs like The Wicker Man starring Nicolas Cage ($23.6M cume), The Black Dahlia ($22.5M cume), Mad Money ($20.6M cume), War, Inc. starring John Cusack ($580,000), Home of the Brave ($52,000 cume), Pam Anderson in Blonde & Blonder ($42,000 cume) and the memorable Jessica Simpson vehicle Blonde Ambition (only $6,500 domestic). We should not expect the Avi Lerner "schlock train" to stop after the surprisingly solid opening of Righteous Kill .
After a $3.6M Friday, The Women (Picturehouse) did not quite get the uptick I expected on Saturday. I projected $11.8M Friday night, but the estrogen-laced George Cukor adaptation from Murphy Brown creator Diane English will come in a little lower at just over $10M. The reviews are awful (only 10 percent Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes) despite a terrific cast of American actresses, including Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Jada Pinkett Smith, Eva Mendes, Candice Bergen, Cloris Leachman and on and on. This is a decent weekend, but just a fraction of the Sex and the City excitement will likely equate to no more than $35M domestic.
The House Bunny (Sony) held off Tropic Thunder (Dreamworks/Paramount) to round out the top 5. The Anna Faris comedy slapsticked its way to a $4.3M weekend for a new cume of $42.1M. Meanwhile, Thunder was No. 6 with $4.18M, and the Ben Stiller-directed movie satire will have a new domestic cume of almost $103M by Monday morning.
