Actress Dania Ramirez fears for the mental wellbeing of her Devious Maids co-star Stephen Collins' alleged molestation victims after he was reportedly caught on tape confessing to inappropriately touching young girls.
The former 7th Heaven actor is at the center of a new police probe after editors at TMZ.com published the audio footage, supposedly recorded without his knowledge by Collins' estranged wife, actress Faye Grant, during a therapy session. New York Police Department officials have confirmed an investigation is underway and reveal detectives have been dispatched to Los Angeles to interview Grant about the tape, which she originally handed to Los Angeles detectives in 2012.
Ramirez, who worked with Collins on six episodes of her TV comedy/drama series Devious Maids last year (13), admits she is shocked by the news, but her main worry is for his alleged victims.
During a guest hosting appearance on U.S. daytime show The Talk on Tuesday (07Oct14), she said, "I don't know what he's been through in life to make him get to a place where he's (allegedly) done such monstrous things, but my concern right now are (sic) his victims, these little girls... "I know they bleeped out their names (in the audio tape), but now they didn't only just get molested, they also have to deal with the fact that their story is public and that's my main concern; I just feel bad for them."
Collins, 67, had yet to comment on the story as WENN went to press, but the police investigation has prompted movie bosses to drop him from the cast for Ted 2.

Pop punk Pink, actress Rachael Leigh Cook and pregnant former wrestler Stacy Keibler have stripped for a new magazine photoshoot to celebrate beauty at the age of 34. The trio has joined TV stars Dania Ramirez and Laura Prepon to pose for People magazine's Naked at 34 feature, which was inspired by a recent study, which suggested that women feel best about their bodies at that age.
Pink admits she learned to love her body as a child, training as a gymnast, and now she is teaching her daughter, two-year-old Willow, the importance of self-acceptance.
The singer says, "She said to me the other day, 'Mama, on Tuesday I think we should get naked and have a naked booby butt dance party'. I was like, 'I'm in'."
Meanwhile, newlywed Keibler, who is expecting her first child with husband Jared Pobre, is learning to embrace her new curves as she adjusts to motherhood.
She tells the publication, "Being pregnant really gives me a confidence I didn't even know I had. Just yesterday, I asked my husband, 'What do you love most about my body?' and he said, 'Your growing belly'."
And new mum Cook, who gave birth to daughter Charlotte in September (13), reveals she agreed to strip off as a keepsake for her future self: "I'm here for 90-year-old me. I'm here so that future me can look back and be like, 'Hey, you were all right'."

Writer/director David Koepp's previous efforts as a screenwriter have helped define modern blockbuster movies. Jurassic Park Mission: Impossible Spider-Man — films that put the "big" in big screen. As a director he's taken the same sensibilities and applied them to narrower fields of vision with intimate spins on horror and comedy in movies like Secret Window and Ghost Town. His latest Premium Rush fits the same bill; an immersive chase thriller set in the off-beat world of biker culture the movie has its simple goals and executes them with a wink-wink attitude. It's a summer action movie through and through but with sensibilities that make it fresh and quirky. In the doldrums of August it's exactly the rush one needs.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Wilee a law-student-turned-bike-messenger who lives for the thrills of a speedy ride. During one run-of-the-mill pick-up at Columbia University Wilee finds himself in the crosshairs of corrupt cop Bobby Monday (Michael Shannon). Inside the envelope Wilee's been hired to delver to Chinatown is something Detective Monday needs and he's willing to do anything to get it. No skin off Wilee's nose — he has an address and a delivery time and like a good messenger he's equally driven to make the drop.
Premium Rush quickly kicks off its extended action set piece and never lets up Koepp only occasionally stepping back in time to unravel backstory and up the stakes. Wilee's girlfriend Vanessa (Dania Ramirez) also a bike messenger is the roommate of Nima (Jamie Chung) a Chinese student who is shipping the sealed MacGuffin downtown. For her it's life or death and Koepp wisely underplays the motivations both to downplay its over-the-top nature and keep the stunts in focus. Monday has his own issues to contend with and it gives Shannon the perfect material to chew up. Before chasing Wilee Monday suffers from a gambling and violence problem and while it drives the character to pursue the package it's really just a great excuse for Shannon to go absolutely bonkers. Somewhere beyond Nic Cage and Al Pacino exists Shannon's turn and it's a hoot.
Gordon-Levitt balances him out as an engaging presence even while zipping through gridlocks and shifting his eyes for "Bike-O-Vision" (Wilee's accident-avoiding stylized Spidey sense). He spends most of his time interchanged with professional bike riders who make the two-wheeled maneuvers work but it's seamless. After an hour and a half of bikes pop-a-wheeling over taxis skidding under semi-trailer trucks and pulling off cycle parkour in a multileveled NYPD impound the action tends to get a bit repetitive — how much can you do on a bike? — but Koepp's kinetic directing keeps the movie zippy and the tone loose. Wilee's entire adventure feels like one big trick. Thankfully it avoids the crash and burn.
I don't remember exactly if someone ever came back from the dead on Desperate Housewives but it's a ploy that the just-departed series creator Marc Cherry should be familiar with, because his latest project just rose from the grave for a new life. Lifetime (the artist formerly known as Lifetime: Television for Women... and Gay Men) announced today that it will produce 13 episode of Cherry's show Devious Maids for the channel.
The show was originally produced by ABC Studios to air on ABC, which decided this spring not to make the pilot into the series. Shortly after ABC Studios, which produces Lifetime's hit Army Wives (which sounds like a reality show, but is not) and the channel worked out a deal to cut costs on the show and bring it to the higher numbers on your cable box. The show stars Ana Ortiz (of Ugly Betty), Judy Reyes, Dania Ramirez, and Roselyn Sanchez as a quartet of maids who have ambition beyond cleaning houses and rather camptastic lives. Their bosses include notorious loser Susan Lucci (thank god she still has a job now that All My Children got the axe) and Grant Show (formerly of Melrose Place and the overlooked Swingtown). A fifth maid originally in the pilot got cut so that Lifetime could afford another lady-centered drama.
The show starts filming in Atlanta (which is cheaper than LA) soon and will be on the air in 2013. A second chance must feel so good.

Suvari paired up with Dania Ramirez to film Ass And T*tties, a mock music video which ridicules Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj and also pokes fun at Lohan's much-publicised legal woes.
Dressed as the Mean Girls star, Suvari can be seen stealing clothes in a boutique, in an apparent reference to Lohan's own shoplifting drama in a Venice, California jewellery store earlier this year (11).
Lohan has branded the clip "pathetic", but refuses to take legal action over it, telling TMZ.com she considers the actress' conduct "petty".
