It did not take long for clean-cut actor Mark Famiglietti to make inroads in Hollywood. A popular student with a love of musicals in his high school days, Famiglietti hightailed it from his East Coast surroundings to the warm glow of Los Angeles, where he quickly wound up piquing curiosities as an east coast student on "Young Americans" (The WB, 2000). Making his way into serious-minded television procedurals and dark big screen thrillers such as television's "CSI" (CBS, 2000- ) and the feature "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (2003), Famiglietti was keen to prove he had all the chops needed for the long haul.

Mark Famiglietti on his "Young Americans" character Scout Calhoun: "Art imitates life in a sense, the character I play is from Greenwich, which is ultimately where I want to live. He's an overachiever, I was also an overachiever when I was in high school." --quoted in an interview with The WB.com, 2000.
He formed the Web site www.artistcharity.org to which entertainers donate products (i.e., headshots, signed posters) that are auctioned off for charity.
