From a prolific childhood acting career in family entertainment and made-for-TV movies, Camilla Belle went on to become a star with edge-of-your-seat teen date offerings "When a Stranger Calls" (2006)...
Johnny Depp and his fiancee Amber Heard silenced speculation suggesting they are heading for a split by sharing an intimate kiss while attending a pre-Golden Globe Awards gala on Saturday (10Jan15). The Hollywood couple, which became engaged a year ago (Jan14), has been dogged by rumours its relationship is on the rocks for several weeks, but The Rum Diary co-stars were all smiles at the weekend as they walked the red carpet arm-in-arm at the Art of Elysium's Heaven Gala in Santa Monica, California and then took their public display of affection one step further by locking lips.
Depp escorted his wife-to-be to the ceremony, where she was honoured with the Spirit of Elysium award for her fundraising efforts with officials at the arts organisation, which helps to brighten up the lives of seriously ill kids.
Other guests at the charity bash included Joaquin Phoenix, Zach Braff, Tobey Maguire, Minnie Driver, Camilla Belle and burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
Actor Seth Macfarlane played host on Saturday (13Dec14) when stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn attended his winter wonderland-themed party. The Family Guy star turned his private residence in Beverly Hills into a snow-covered Christmas paradise for his annual bash, and some of Hollywood's most famous faces came out to spread holiday cheer.
According to Us Weekly, the guests also included Zac Efron, Kate Beckinsale, Martin Scorsese, Matt Bomer, Ashley Greene, Camilla Belle, Emile Hirsch, and Robert Pattinson and his singer girlfriend F.K.A. Twigs.
MacFarlane even took to the stage to perform some holiday songs off his new Christmas album, and according to the publication, his A Million Ways to Die in the West co-star Theron asked to conduct the orchestra backing him, to which he told her, "Charlize, if you f**k this tempo up, I swear to God!..."
Insiders say the stars were greeted by carol singers at the door, and there was even a bar made of ice, where guests wore fur coats as they gathered their drinks at the frozen stand.
Simon Pegg, Kate Bosworth and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have thrown their support behind embattled actress Emma Watson after hackers threatened to leak nude pictures of her just days after her hard-hitting pro-feminism speech. The Harry Potter star hit headlines after addressing United Nations (U.N.) delegates in New York on Saturday (20Sep14) in her role as a Goodwill Ambassador to promote the organisation's HeForShe campaign.
Hackers targeted the actress a day after her gender equality speech and threatened to release nude pictures of her on Friday (26Sep14) as part of the ongoing leaks which have affected stars across Hollywood.
Watson has now received a wave of celebrity support with numerous stars throwing their weight behind the campaign.
Fellow actress Kate Bosworth sent Watson a message on Tuesday (23Sep14) calling her speech "powerful" while British star Pegg wrote, "Husband to a wife, father to a daughter, son to a mother. You bet I'm on board, @EmWatson! #heforshe."
James Van Der Beek writes, "Guys, @EmWatson really got it right. Gender equality isn't about taking a side, it's about human dignity for all. It's evolution #HeForShe (sic)."
She has also received support from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who praised her for tackling the subject of feminism, while country singer Jenifer Nettles wrote, "Way to go @EmWatson! It's not us against them'! We're all in this together! #feminismispositiveforall (sic)."
Sophia Bush, Carly Rae Jepsen, Camilla Belle, Jessie Ware, Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding and Freida Pinto are among the other female stars who have also thrown their support behind Watson.
Singer Joe Jonas has split from girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler after almost two years together. The former The Jonas Brothers star began dating Swiss-born model Eggenschwiler in September, 2012, but the couple recently called time on its romance.
His representative tells Us Weekly magazine, "Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways. The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another."
Eggenschwiler joins a long list of Jonas' exes, including Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle, Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene.
Pregnant R&B star Kelly Rowland spent her weekend (21-22Jun14) getting her hands dirty as she helped to build houses for families in need in Los Angeles. The former Destiny's Child singer, who is expecting her first child with new husband Tim Witherspoon, refused to let her growing baby bump slow her down and teamed up with officials at the non-profit organisation Habitat For Humanity on Saturday (21Jun14) to aid a construction project in the Compton neighbourhood.
Rowland donned a pink T-shirt promoting the charity and shared snaps of herself and former bandmate Beyonce's stylist mother, Tina Knowles, brandishing hammers on her Instagram.com account.
90210 star Shenae Grimes and actress Camilla Belle were also photographed taking part in the 10th anniversary of the annual Power Women Power Tools event.
Joe Jonas has opened up about his past relationships, including his short romance with Demi Lovato, confessing he only stayed with the singer to help her deal with her drug abuse problems. The Jonas Brothers heartthrob began dating his Camp Rock co-star in 2010, but their relationship was extremely short lived, lasting only four weeks.
In a candid interview with New York Magazine, Jonas reveals that dating Lovato was way more than he anticipated, especially because of her ongoing struggle with drug addiction.
He admits, "One relationship that meant a lot to fans was the one I had with Demi Lovato, who I've known for years. We had been friends forever, we were both Disney kids - we eventually dated for a month.
"I really got to know her and got to see the ins and outs of what she was struggling with, like drug abuse. I felt like I needed to take care of her, but at the same time I was living a lie, because I wasn't happy but felt like I had to stay in it for her, because she needed help. I couldn't express any of that, of course, because I had a brand to protect."
He continues, "It was an insane situation to be in. Things kept building up, and Demi ended up punching a girl in the face on a plane, because she thought the girl was blaming her for something. Everybody gasped, and the girl just started bleeding.
"That's when her team and her family told her, 'You need to go into rehab.' I remember being in South America, and fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that we kicked her off the 2010 tour, and they just hated on us for it."
Lovato subsequently went to rehab for her drug addiction and depression issues, and has been sober ever since.
Jonas also reflects on the demise of another relationship with Twilight actress Ashley Greene, whom he dated for a year until 2011.
He says, "I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn't work. It's incredibly difficult. I did a cover story with Details (magazine) acknowledging the relationship, and the day after it was on newsstands, we announced our breakup. That was just coincidence, but it's funny how that always happens, right?
"After Ashley, I took two or three years to just be single. I was hooking up and having fun. Now I'm with someone I really care about. We get each other."
Jonas, who has been dating model Blanda Eggenschwiler since last year (13), also confessed he's romanced fans in between his celebrity relationships, including ex-girlfriends Camilla Belle and Taylor Swift."
Joe Jonas dodged questions about the future of the Jonas Brothers on Thursday (17Oct13) as he returned to the red carpet in Los Angeles for the first time since the pop star siblings scrapped their U.S. tour due to a "deep rift". The Burning Up hitmakers stunned fans earlier this month (Oct13) when they pulled all of their live shows after falling out over their musical direction.
The group has yet to address what the future holds for the Jonas Brothers, and Joe refused to shed any more light on the boys' feud on Thursday as he attended the inaugural gala for the new Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Gala in Beverly Hills solo, telling reporters, "I'm not going to talk about that right now."
However, the singer did open up about his own career plans, revealing he would like to build on his screen credits after his turns in family TV series Jonas and a more recent appearance on U.S. comedy show Hot In Cleveland.
He said, "I think acting would be fun. I would like to (get into that)."
Joe's red carpet appearance occurred hours after a representative for the band was forced to deny rumours the 24 year old was battling a secret drug addiction, which had been falsely touted as one of the reasons for the Jonas Brothers' apparent split.
The star's night was an eventful one - he ran into his ex-girlfriend, actress Camilla Belle, at the bash.
The Push beauty first met Tebow in May (12) after both attending the Metropolitan Museum of Art's glitzy Met Ball in New York, and they reportedly began dating in October (12), when they were spotted kissing and holding hands while bowling with friends in Florida.
However, it appears the New York Jets quarterback, a devout Christian who has vowed to remain a virgin until he marries, has dropped the ball and the young couple has now parted ways.
A source tells UsMagazine.com, "It just didn't work out."
Belle previously dated pop star Joe Jonas, who also famously promised to abstain from sex and wore a 'purity ring' at the start of his career.
Director Quentin Tarantino and actor Jamie Foxx were also celebrated at the U.S. bash, which drew a star-studded crowd including Diane Kruger, Camilla Belle, Aaron Paul and Zachary Quinto to West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont Hotel.
Rihanna, the only woman to be honoured at the event, showed up after being branded Obsession of the Year by editors of the men's magazine.
Meanwhile, at the Aussie GQ gala in Sydney, Hemsworth was crowned Man Of The Year, singer Sam Sparro was the Man of Style, I Am Number Four actor Callan McAuliffe scooped the Breakthrough Award and Guy Sebastian was named Solo Artist of the Year.
Dance duo Pnau was honoured with the Band Of The Year title and Dark Shadows actress Bella Heathcote was Woman Of The Year.

From a prolific childhood acting career in family entertainment and made-for-TV movies, Camilla Belle went on to become a star with edge-of-your-seat teen date offerings "When a Stranger Calls" (2006), and "The Quiet" (2005). But Belle simultaneously cultivated art house street cred with a mature performance opposite Daniel Day-Lewis in "The Ballad of Jack and Rose" (2005), even as she rocketed into "It" girl status playing a cave woman in "10,000 B.C." (2008) and a psychic government operative in the sci-fi thriller "Push" (2009). A radiant but natural beauty who avoided the trappings of young Hollywood, Belle entered her twenties with a string of dramatic, multi-dimensional leading characters - including the Virgin Mary - that suggested the actress had a long and promising career beyond multiplex entertainment.
Reportedly began dating October 2012; Split December 2012

"It's hard not to get [caught up in the trappings of modern society], especially living in L.A.," Belle confesses. "It's difficult to be unique in any way. It's kind of a superficial city and so consumed about Hollywood and magazines and TV. It's difficult not to think, 'What do people think of me?' You have to be strong and fight really hard in order to keep yourself different." - Belle quoted in Venice magazine, April, 2005
Belle speaks several languages fluently, including Spanish and Portuguese (her mother's native language).
