Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has teamed up with hair care experts at Henkel's Schwarzkopf in her native Germany to launch her own line of beauty products. The catwalk beauty has unveiled the Claudia Schiffer for Schwarzkopf line, which features different collections for styling, cleansing and colouring - all for less than $10 (£6.25).
The model reveals she jumped at the chance of doing business with the top brand because she has been using its items to care for her locks since she was a kid.
She explains, "(We used) a (Schwarzkopf) product called Schauma Shampoo. My mum always used it on all three of us. We would all sit in the bathtub and have our hair washed at the same time."
The Claudia Schiffer for Schwarzkopf products will be available exclusively in the U.S. at Wal-mart superstores.

The 16th century hall near Bury St Edmunds, in Suffolk, England suffered major damage to outbuildings, but firefighters managed to stop the blaze spreading to the main part of the house.
Pictures taken on the day of the fire appear to show Schiffer and Vaughn standing by watching the crews battle the flames.
A spokesperson for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "A fire investigation concluded that it was started accidentally."

Hollywood actor Ewan Mcgregor is set to host a moneyspinning event for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to raise cash for youngsters in Syria. The actor will be teaming up with stars including singer Robbie Williams, actor Sir Roger Moore, and model Claudia Schiffer for The Halloween Ball, an invitation-only event with a spooky twist.
The Moulin Rouge! star, who has supported UNICEF since 2004, insists the ball will play an important role in raising funds to provide essential supplies for children suffering in the war-torn country.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, he says, "As it stands today, there are more than one million child refugees and more than three million children needing urgent help inside Syria; the situation for them is critical. UNICEF is working day and night to provide clean water, vaccinations, education, and psychological support to those children.
"Once again, I find myself in absolute admiration hearing about incredibly courageous individuals, putting their lives at risk to help save the lives of children. However, the essential supplies are running low; the Halloween Ball will play a very important role in raising the vital missing funds UNICEF needs, and only with that support will UNICEF have a good chance of reaching every child."
The star has also taken to Twitter.com to share his excitement over the event, writing, "Looking forward to UNICEF U.K. Halloween Ball for Syria's children."
The ball will take place in London location on 31 October (13).

Casablancas, the co-founder of Elite Model Management, passed away in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil earlier this month (Jul13) after a battle with cancer and the singer took to his Twitter.com page on Saturday (27Jul13) to thanks devotees for their words of comfort.
He writes, "Thanks for all the kind words. It's been a tough two weeks."
The musician also shared a link to an emotional letter penned by his mother Jeanette Christiansen, who encouraged Casablancas to set up his modelling agency.
She writes, "A lot has been said and a lot has been written about John and about this business. Some of it true and a lot of it untrue. I backed Johnny 100 per cent when he wanted to change... the modeling (sic) industry. He stood up for women and fought for them to earn more so they could make fruitful careers... I am saying good-bye, dear John. I am so thankful for the years that we had together and for our son Julian."
The letter also states that Casablancas was laid to rest in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (27Jul13) in accordance with his wishes.
Casablancas is credited with "inventing" the supermodel and helped launch the careers of numerous high-profile models including Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Heidi Klum and Claudia Schiffer.
Police in the U.K. have launched an investigation after an ambulance racing to reach Matthew Vaughn's dying mother was allegedly obstructed by a motorist. The Hollywood director's mum, TV producer Kathy Ceaton, collapsed at her home in Oxfordshire, England last Sunday (21Jul13) following a suspected heart attack, and paramedics were unable to save her when they arrived.
It has now emerged that one of the ambulances which was dispatched to help Ceaton, 66, was blocked by a driver who refused to move his car to allow the emergency vehicle through and allegedly made rude hand gestures at the crew.
Ambulance service chiefs have called for a full investigation and police are now hunting for the driver.
A spokesman for the South Central Ambulance Service says, "We have informed Thames Valley Police and are obviously seeking a prosecution for obstructing an emergency vehicle en-route to an emergency."
A statement released by Ceaton's family reads, "Kathy Megan Ceaton, beloved mother of Matthew Vaughn and Pasha Saigol died on Sunday, July 21, aged 66 years. Her intelligence, generosity, loyalty and friendship will be missed by many."
The producer gave birth to the X-Men: First Class filmmaker following an affair with Hollywood actor Robert Vaughn, but a paternity investigation later found he was fathered by aristocrat George de Vere Drummond.
Vaughn is married to supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

The busty blonde beauty was selected to replace supermodel Claudia Schiffer as the face of Guess two decades ago, and now her little girl with ex Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn, has been chosen to front the firm's kids Spring 2013 campaign.
In one of the ads, the six year old can be seen wearing a denim skirt, yellow belt, and fedora while flashing a smile on a beach, and in a second picture she is photographed leaning against a piece of driftwood as she looks out onto the ocean.
And company creative director Paul Marciano insists Dannielynn is a natural, just like her mum, who died of an accidental overdose in 2007.
He tells UsMagazine.com, "Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set. She is a second-generation Guess girl, which makes this campaign a first for us."
