Summary
A pretty and pert player best known for her small-screen work, Sokoloff cut her teeth in California theater as a child before landing recurring roles on Full House as a Goody Two-shoes and Party of Five as an out-of-control adolescent. In 1998 she graduated to adult roles when she joined the cast of The Practice as the law firm's pouty secretary for a high-profile five-year run, until she (along with most of the cast) was infamously let go. During her tenure she tackled a handful of big-screen parts, usually in teen-oriented comedies, and snagged her Whatever It Takes costar James Franco as her boyfriend. In addition to acting, she is an accomplished singer-songwriter and released her debut album, Grateful, in 2006.
