Unless you’re Tatiana Maslany, you can’t be two (or six) people at once. But you can do the next best thing and dress up like an Orphan Black clone for Halloween!
With the help of this handy article, you’ll figure out which clone costume best suits your personality and how you can achieve a look worthy of Clone Club initiation.
The most important aspect of this costume is attitude. If you’re not sporting major ‘tude, you’re doing it wrong. As a British punk grifter-turned-unofficial ringleader of the clones, Sarah’s got sass to spare. Make sure you wear your hair in messy waves and smudge on some eyeliner so it looks day-old. Throw on a hoodie, a leather jacket and some combat boots and you’re ready to take on your enemies!
Helena is probably the most Halloween-worthy of all the clones. Simply because she’s the scariest. She’s got a wild mop of blonde hair and even wilder eyes, and if there’s food around, chances are she’s shoving it into her mouth. Just one of Helena’s many…quirks. To fully become Helena, speak with her Ukrainian accent (“My seestra”), wear a white nightgown smeared in fake blood and tear into those Halloween snacks.
One suburban soccer mom clone coming right up! Are you a Type A personality with a dark side? Do you feel as comfortable holding a glue gun as you do holding a real gun? Then Alison is the clone for you! (And also you might need some help.) Fasten your hair into a tight ponytail and get some clip-on bangs. Put on your best yoga pants and puffer vest, grab a nice glass of wine, and you’re all set to do some arts and crafts…or bury a body in your garage, whatever.
If “sexy nerd” is how you’d generally describe yourself, a Cosima costume might be for you. She’s a pot-smoking science geek with a head full of dreads and a thing for French chicks. To transform into Cosima, twist your hair into some faux-dreadlocks, then throw on a pair of geeky glasses, a fake nose ring and a lab coat. A swooping cat-eye will complete your look.
Rachel is the ice queen of clones. Cold, calculating and (almost) always in control, Rachel loves antagonizing her fellow clone sisters. You’ll need a proper British accent, a poker face, and some well-tailored business attire to embody the character. Top it off with an asymmetrical blonde bob and you’ll instantly become a force to be reckoned with. (Bonus points if you can make it look like a pencil is sticking out of your eye. If you watch the show, you’ll most certainly get that reference).
Tony (aka the trans clone) caused quite a stir when he appeared on the show for one episode in season two. We only got a brief glimpse into his character, but so far we know he’s cocky, confident and a tiny bit criminal. You’ll need a goatee, a long mullet and some swagger to pull off this costume.
Helena as Sarah as Beth
This show – and the acting prowess of Tatiana Maslany – frequently blows people’s minds. And with a costume like this, you can too! For a head-spinning scene in season one, Helena pretends to be Sarah, who’s pretending to be Beth (the cop clone who offed herself in episode one). Get yourself a button-down shirt, a blazer and a beanie to cover your hair. Use some eye shadow to achieve Helena’s dark circles, and there you have it – you’re officially a triple threat!
If you’re still having trouble deciding, round up a bunch of your friends and be ALL of the clones! Clone dance party, anyone?

Sam Smith was the toast of the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards in London on Wednesday night (22Oct14) when he picked up four top prizes, including the Best Album trophy for his hit debut In The Lonely Hour. The 22-year-old singer also picked up the Best Male title, Best R&B/Soul Act and Best Song for Stay With Me.
The honours came just hours after he was named Best Newcomer at the annual Q Awards.
Smith dedicated his coveted Best Album prize to his supportive parents, and stated, "It's been an incredible year. This is truly a dream come true."
Backstage, Smith said, "I came last year and really wanted to win Best Newcomer but didn't and to come back and win four awards is ridiculous. I am overwhelmed... I don't know what to do with my awards. I need to get a cabinet."
He also took a selfie with MOBO hosts Mel B and Sarah-Jane Crawford and rapper Eve, who presented him one of his prize, and posted it online.
Other big winners included Jessie J, who was named Best Female, Beyonce, who was honoured with the Best International Act title, and actor and DJ Idris Elba, who took home the night's Inspiration Award.
Ella Eyre beat out FKA Twigs among others to land the Best Newcomer award and rapper Skepta's That's Not Me promo was named Best Video.
Jessie J also performed at the SSE Wembley Arena event, alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah and Candi Staton.
Meghan Trainor's All About That Bass leads a record-breaking week for women at the top of the U.S. pop charts. Girl power rules the Billboard Hot 100 top five for a fifth consecutive week - the only time leading ladies have kept the guys out of the top spots for more than four weeks in a row since the chart began in 1956.
Trainor's hit leads the all-female top five for the fifth week running, while Taylor Swift's former number one, Shake It Off, stays put at two and Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's Black Widow rises a spot to three.
Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj's Bang Bang and Minaj's Anaconda round out the top five.
The previous best run for women on the Hot 100 came in 1999 when songs by Monica, Britney Spears, Deborah Cox, Cher, Brandy, Whitney Houston and Sarah McLachlan dominated the countdown for four weeks running.
This week also marks just the 11th week in the Hot 100's history that men have been shut out of the top five.
Wiz Khalifa's estranged wife Amber Rose has compared the demise of her marriage to the loss of a best friend, insisting she had no idea how painful "true heartache" was.
The model filed to end her one-year marriage to the Black and Yellow hitmaker last month (Sep14) amid reports of his infidelity, and she admits she is struggling to come to terms with their break-up. Taking to Twitter.com on Monday (06Oct14), she wrote, "The mornings are especially hard. The pain...I wake up every morning feeling like my best friend died..... I never knew what a true heartache felt like until now."
Meanwhile, Rose's alleged new man, KISS star Gene Simmons' son Nick, has shot down rumors suggesting he is helping the blonde beauty move on from her marriage split. The pair sparked speculation of a new romance last week (ends03Oct13) when Rose was spotted cozying up to Nick Simmons and dancing seductively with him during a night out in Hollywood, but Simmons claims there's "no relationship", adding they are "just friends".
Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis have fueled rumors suggesting a new Sex And The City sequel is in the works by teasing fans with an exchange on Twitter.com.
The actresses are reportedly preparing to reunite with Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon for a third movie adaptation of the hit TV series, which centered on Parker's sex columnist character Carrie Bradshaw and her three best friends dealing with love and life in New York City. Film co-star Jennifer Hudson raised fans' hopes last week (ends03Oct14) when she let slip that plans for a new film is in the works, saying, "I think it might be (happening). Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it and look for your girl Louise from St. Louis!"
And on Friday (03Oct14), Davis posted a photo of herself and Parker on Twitter, alongside a message to her pal, which read: "Miss YOU XOXOXO!!". Parker, who also served as a producer on the first two films, released in 2008 and 2010, replied, "Me too you (sic)!" and then she appeared to suggest Sex and The City 3 was planned by teasing, "Heard the news?", to which Davis responded, "Yyyeessssss (sic)..... But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate." However, it seems Cattrall has yet to be told the news - when asked about a possible third installment by a fan on Twitter on Saturday (04Oct14), she wrote, "News 2 (sic) me... Rumors like this are flattering."

"I sent her a text earlier. I haven’t heard back from her, but I love her. I adore her. All you need is your best friend. I feel like every girl feels that way. All you need is a couple of girls who are always there by your side, you can call no matter what time of the night it is and know that they’ll be there for you. As long as you have that, you’re doing pretty good in life." VANESSA HUDGENS has reached out to pal Sarah Hyland after learning the Modern Family star has obtained a restraining order from her ex-boyfriend, actor Matt Prokop.
One-time abuse victim Rihanna's introduction to U.S. TV's Thursday Night Football special was yanked at the last minute on Thursday (11Sep14) and replaced with an interview with embattled league commissioner Roger Goodell amid the sport's ongoing domestic violence drama.
Rihanna’s Jay Z collaboration Run This Town was billed as part of the launch of the 2014 season of the CBS show, but network bosses decided the programme should open with a more serious message following the recent Ray Rice scandal.
Rice was arrested earlier this year (14) following an altercation with his then-fiancee in a hotel elevator in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Sickening footage of the incident has since been released and earlier this month (Sep14) the sportsman was kicked off the Baltimore Ravens roster and banned from playing in the National Football League (NFL).
Goodell came under fire from the media and women's rights groups for not acting sooner in dealing with Rice, amid accusations he and NFL bosses don't take domestic violence seriously enough. The commissioner has since spoken out about the scandal, dismissing reports that suggested the footage of Rice knocking his now-wife unconscious was made available to NFL executives in April (14), and his exclusive interview with CBS newswoman Norah O'Donnell was replayed at the beginning of the Thursday night football coverage, as well as a chat with Ravens team owner Steve Bisciotti.
As a result, Rihanna's reworked Run This Town, featuring a comedic segment starring Don Cheadle, was axed.
Announcing the decision hours before the big game, CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus said, "We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone coverage." Ironically, the featured game was a clash between the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. Rihanna was a victim of abuse in 2009 when her then-boyfriend Chris Brown attacked her during a fight on the eve of the Grammy Awards. The R&B singer is still on probation following his violent actions.
Kanye West is making his debut as a movie producer after teaming up with Jay Z for comedian Chris Rock's new film Top Five.
The rapper pals serve as executive producers on the project, with The Roots' band leader, drummer Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson, signing on as executive music producer, reports Deadline.com. Top Five features Rock as a fictional funnyman attempting to relaunch his career as a serious actor when his reality star fiancee convinces him to allow their wedding to be broadcast on TV.
The movie, which was also written and directed by Rock, premiered to rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada last Saturday (06Sep14). The worldwide rights to the film were snapped up by Paramount studio executives after a bidding war.
West is familiar with the storyline - he agreed to let E! TV bosses capture footage of the lead up to his wedding earlier this year (May14) for his now-wife Kim Kardashian's reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Meanwhile, Jay Z is no stranger to producing films - he worked with Baz Luhrmann on The Great Gatsby and he's among the executives of Will Smith's upcoming Annie remake.
Hugh Jackman, Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Osbourne were among the stars who mourned the death of legendary comedienne Joan Rivers at her funeral in New York on Sunday (07Sep14). Record mogul Clive Davis, actors Matthew Broderick, Rosie O'Donnell, Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth and Bernadette Peters, funnywoman Kathy Griffin, fashion designers Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors, property mogul Donald Trump and newswomen Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer also turned out to pay their final respects to Rivers, who was remembered in a private ceremony at the Temple Emanu-El synagogue, where she was a member.
Hundreds of fans lined the streets outside the temple as inside, U.S. shockjock Howard Stern delivered a touching eulogy to the comedic icon, crediting her with fighting "the stereotype that women couldn't be funny".
He even managed to raise a few laughs from guests by quipping, "(Rivers was) the best friend in the world... a big sister... a crazy aunt at a bar mitzvah."
Broadway star Audra McDonald performed Nat King Cole classic Smile, before additional tributes from news anchor Deborah Norville, New York Post columnist Cindy Adams and Rivers' only child, daughter Melissa, who thanked everyone for their condolences, saying, "We are humbled."
X-Men star Hugh Jackman helped to bring the ceremony to a close, honouring Rivers' memory with a rendition of Peter Allen song, Quiet Please, There's a Lady on Stage, which features the repeated lyrics, "Put your hands together", while a band of bagpipe players performed as mourners filed out of the temple.
Rivers died on Thursday (04Sep14), a week after suffering a cardiac and respiratory arrest during a routine throat operation.
The exact cause of death is still under investigation after an initial autopsy proved inconclusive.
The 81 year old's body had been cremated on Saturday (06Sep14), ahead of Sunday's funeral service.
Reports suggest she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California, where fellow late icons Michael Jackson, Clark Gable and Walt Disney are also interred.
Rivers' publicist has asked for donations to be made to her favourite charities, meal delivery service God's Love, We Deliver, Guide Dogs for the Blind and California grief support centre Our House, in lieu of flowers.
