The Fall TV season is quickly approaching, and although there are a number of great shows out there, none of them tug on our heartstrings quite like the ABC Family gem Switched at Birth. Hollywood.com sat down with leading ladies Vanessa Marano and Lea Thompson to gush and gab about what fans can expect when the show returns.
When we last saw our favorite misplaced girls, Bay and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) were enjoying a lovely prom complete with gorgeous dresses, perfect hair and handsome dates. That is, they were until Emmett (Sean Berdy) heartbreakingly admitted to Bay that he slept with Simone. All around the world you could hear the thud of outraged girls throwing their pillows at the TV, hoping that Emmett would somehow feel it. At least that’s what we did…
Now three months have passed and we can’t wait to find out what’s in store for one of the most unique shows on television. Thompson spills, “[Bay] went away to the Galapagos Islands and came back with another boyfriend.” If that's the case, then we say Bay is definitely winning in this break-up. Of course, in true ABC Family fashion, this new fella will definitely add some delicious eye candy to an already beautiful cast. “I feel like that’s kind of the best part about Switched at Birth," Marano gushes. "If there is a male on the show, he is attractive.” We wouldn’t say that’s necessarily the best part of the ABC Family fave, but it definitely makes this show very easy on the eyes.
Check out our full interview below to learn the fate of Katherine’s memoir, and find out how the ladies really feel about Emmett’s shocking indiscretion.
