The CW looks to continue their success streak at the hands of Josh Schwartz's ridiculously addictive TV shows. They've just given the go-ahead for his latest project, Hart of Dixie, which stars Rachel Bilson as a big city doctor who ends up taking over a practice in a small town, and it's just like, so hard. Also added to the new lineup is The Secret Circle, about another girl who moves to another small town, but instead of getting a new job, she finds out she's a witch. Spooky.
Both shows ring of old standards on the CW and its predecessor, The WB. Bilson is of course famous for her role on Schwartz's teen soap, The OC, and The Secret Circle taps into some of that Charmed and Buffy mojo. It also comes from the man behind The Vampire Diaries and is based on books from the same author, so we're sure it will include plenty of sexy, steamy scandals to go along with the hocus-pocus premise.
