Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have come under fire from business owners in Malta over allegations filming on their new movie is disrupting the local diving community.
Jolie is directing and starring in By The Sea along with her new husband, and the crew has cordoned off areas for filming on the island of Gozo, which is packed with diving centres, and many owners fear the closure is harming their business. Donna Hayler-Montague, owner of the Bubbles Diving Centre in Gozo, tells British newspaper The Sun, "Brad and Angelina started filming in August and originally the Prime Minister said the bays would be closed for a few days. Now they plan to be there till November. Our high season is September and October so they've taken over the bays in that season. It is quite dramatic for the diving community. We are asking for compromise. We have offered not to take phones or cameras along."
The film, which was also written by Jolie, is the story of an unhappily married couple and marks the stars' first onscreen performance together since Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004.
R&B star Ciara became the latest target of international prankster-to-the-stars Vitalii Sediuk as she posed for pictures prior to the Valentino catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (30Sep14).
Wearing nothing but a black thong and a gold T-shirt, the former Ukrainian journalist, who is now an aspiring model, brushed past the new mom, making sure he scored an awkward photo with her. His latest prank was a defiant one - he wrote the phrase 'Ban in USA but I rock Chanel (sic)' down his naked leg. Sediuk recently discovered his name is on a no-fly list after recently trying to board a plane bound for America. He was arrested and charged with battery and disturbing the peace for attacking Brad Pitt at the Los Angeles premiere of Maleficent earlier this year (14) and sentenced to community service.
Ever-the-professional, Ciara refused to lose her cool and simply laughed and smiled as the prankster passed. Sediuk caused chaos outside the Balmain fashion show last week (ends26Sep14) when he lunged at Kim Kardashian and attempted to drag her to her knees. He told the DailyMail.co.uk, "The prank with Kim was my protest that U.S. banned me from entering the country (sic)... I hope Kim is OK and won't be mad at me as I didn't mean any harm. Adele, America Ferrera and Will Smith have also been targets of Sediuk.
The notorious red carpet prankster who lunged at Kim Kardashian in Paris, France on Thursday (25Sep14) targeted the reality TV star to protest a flight ban preventing him from entering the U.S. Former Ukrainian reporter Vitalii Sediuk threw himself at the feet of Kanye West's new wife as she exited a car to attend the Balmain showcase during Paris Fashion Week and attempted to pull her to the ground.
Security guards rushed the attacker and pulled him off the TV beauty, allowing her to make her way inside with West and her mother Kris Jenner.
Sediuk claimed responsibility for the prank through his representatives and he has now spoken out about the reasons for his actions.
The assailant, who is now a Paris-based model, recently discovered his name is on a U.S. Customs and Border Protection no-fly list after attempting to board a flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Los Angeles, and he decided to retaliate by ambushing Kardashian - but he didn't mean to hurt the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.
The 25 year old tells the DailyMail.co.uk, "The prank with Kim was my protest that US banned me from entering the country...
"I hope Kim is OK and won't be mad at me as I didn't mean any harm. Kanye is one lucky man as Kim is a goddess!"
FBI chiefs, who are responsible for adding names to the official no-fly list, have yet to comment on story, but Sediuk's latest celebrity prank occurred four months after he was sentenced to community service for striking Brad Pitt at the Hollywood launch of Maleficent in May (14). He was also arrested two weeks prior to the premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where he attempted to crawl under America Ferrera's dress.
The troublemaker previously made headlines in 2012, when he was slapped by Will Smith after he attempted to kiss the actor, and he was placed on probation after he was arrested for crashing the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he ran onstage and grabbed the microphone from Jennifer Lopez as she presented soul star Adele with the Best Pop Solo prize.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West plan to heighten their security after they were ambushed in Paris, France on Thursday (25Sep14).
The reality star and her husband are said to be so shaken by the incident that they will use armored vehicles and have added two additional teams of bodyguards to surround them during their stay in the French capital.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians beauty was grabbed by notorious Hollywood prankster Vitalii Sediuk as she exited her car to attend the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. Editors at TMZ.com report that Kardashian and West will not keep the extra team when they return to America.
A long list of celebrities have fallen victim to Sediuk's antics including Brad Pitt, America Ferrera and Will Smith.
Newlywed Angelina Jolie has debuted photos of her surprise nuptials to Brad Pitt, revealing she wore a designer wedding gown featuring artwork by their six children. The Hollywood couple tied the knot during an intimate, secret ceremony at its Chateau Miraval estate in Correns, France on 23 August (14), and made the event a family affair.
In the first images of the ceremony, released to America's People magazine, the Tomb Raider beauty is shown wearing a flowing Atelier Versace wedding gown, designed by the brand's master tailor Luigi Massi.
And Massi helped created a special accessory for Jolie, as her veil was covered with colourful drawings by their kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Gushing about Massi's work to the publication, she says, "Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress. He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."
As for Pitt, he decided to wear a suit from his closet, complete with a tie borrowed from one of his sons, since the actor forgot to pack his own.
The kids were also involved in the ceremony, with Maddox and Pax walking Jolie down the aisle, Shiloh and Knox serving as ring bearers, and Zahara and Vivienne playing the roles of flower girls.
Jolie and Pitt add, "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
Another picture features the entire Jolie-Pitt clan sitting on steps at the estate as they pose in the formal wear for a family portrait, while a photo published in Hello! Magazine shows the couple's first kiss, as the two happily lock lips after exchanging vows.
Jolie and Pitt began dating in 2005 after meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and became engaged in 2012.
It is Pitt's second marriage following his divorce from actress Jennifer Aniston in 2005. Jolie was previously wed to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have stunned Hollywood by announcing they tied the knot in a secret ceremony on Saturday (23Aug14).
The Tomb Raider star wed the Hollywood actor at a small chapel at Chateau Miraval in Correns, France, a spokesman for the couple confirms.
The private, nondenominational civil ceremony was attended by family and friends of the superstar couple, and was conducted by a Californian judge, who gave Jolie and Pitt their marriage licence in the U.S.
The couple's six children were all involved in the wedding - Maddox and Pax walked Jolie down the aisle, Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers, while Zahara and Vivienne threw flower petals. Shiloh, eight, and twins Knox and Vivienne, six, are the couple's biological children while Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, and Zahara, nine, are adopted.

George Clooney has been named Hollywood's most-gracefully ageing male for refusing to dye his greying hair.
The Ocean's Eleven star, 53, topped a list of Tinseltown's leading 'MAGs' - Men Ageing Gracefully - in a survey by a leading U.K. hair transplant centre. His close pal Brad Pitt, 50, came second in the list of male stars who have stayed sexy with age, and Johnny Depp, 51, was placed third.
The top five was rounded out by James Bond hunk Daniel Craig, 46, and Australian star Hugh Jackman, 45.
The survey of 1,000 movie fans was conducted on behalf of the Crown Clinic in Manchester, England and featured dozens of male stars over 40 who have embraced ageing.
Crown Clinic surgeon Asim Shahmalak says, "Clooney is a worthy winner. He has been a global sex symbol for 20 years and he has just as many female fans now as when he first emerged on (TV series) ER. He has happily embraced middle age and looks just as sexy as a brooding silver fox as he did as a hunky young doctor in his breakthrough role. "What is striking about the survey is that every single 'MAG' has a full head of hair. It's a sad fact but nothing ages a man like losing his hair. (This) survey shows that baldness can age a man by as much as 10 years."
The rest of the top ten featured Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, Will Smith, Sean Penn, and Colin Firth.

Engaged Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reportedly marry onscreen in their new movie.
The stars, who fell in love on the set of 2005 spy film Mr. & Mrs. Smith and went on to become a real life couple, plan to reunite on-set in Jolie's latest directing project, By The Sea.
Editors of The Hollywood Reporter now state the couple will exchange vows on camera as part of the story, which was written by Jolie herself.
The couple's real life engagement was announced in 2012, and they are regularly hit with rumours about when the wedding will take place.
The film which will reteam Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the big screen will be called By The Sea. Jolie will direct the drama for Universal Pictures, and the real life couple will produce the movie.
The pair last appeared onscreen together in 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
It is believed the new film will be shot on location on the Maltese islands of Malta and Gozo.
The actress/director confirmed the news on Friday (18Jul14), stating, "I am very happy to continue my relationship with the entire Universal team as I finish (current film project) Unbroken and begin work on By the Sea. They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker."
Jolie's Unbroken, which chronicles the life of Olympian and World War Two hero Louis Zamperini, will be released in December (14).
