The actor has had a miserable month (May12) after being targeted by sensational claims of sexual misconduct and a U.S. tabloid report suggesting he tried to grope his Grease co-star Jeff Conaway.
But Travolta has proved his 21-year marriage is still going strong by sharing a home video he made for the actress.
In a post on his website entitled "A mother's day gift for Kelly", the Pulp Fiction star tells how Preston "was so happy with my Mother's Day video to her, we wanted to share it with you".
The four-minute clip opens with the words, "From me, to you" and features never-before-seen snaps from the Travoltas' private family album, including treasured shots of their late son Jett, who died after a seizure in 2009.
There are also recent photos of their 12-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, Travolta kissing Kelly, and of their 18-month-old son Benjamin.
It concludes with the message, "With all my love, Johnny."
The actress, who is married to Hollywood star John Travolta, feared she would struggle to get back into shape again after falling pregnant with her third child, Benjamin, at the age of 48.
Preston has spent months working out and her hard work has finally paid off.
She tells People, "When I got pregnant at 48, I didn't know if my body would bounce back... I lost 39 pounds... I have more energy than I had 20 years ago - and I feel amazing. I'm going to be turning 50 next year - holy s**t! Hey, 50 is the new 30."
The couple is also parents to a daughter, Ella Bleu, 11. Their son Jett died in 2009.
The Hollywood actor will play late Mafia boss John Gotti, who died in 2002 while serving a life sentence behind bars, in upcoming movie Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father, which will explore the relationship between the notorious crime boss and his son John Gotti, Jr.
Travolta has been thoroughly researching the role and on Thursday he met with Gotti's widow, Victoria, for a discussion about the upcoming film.
He was photographed arriving at the family home in Queens, New York and after spending two hours inside, he told reporters he was doing "research for the movie", according to the New York Post.
Travolta's wife Kelly Preston will portray Victoria in the movie, while their daughter Ella Bleu with play the Gottis' daughter Angel.
The movie also stars Al Pacino and Ben Foster and is due for release next year (12).
Al Pacino has officially joined Gotti: Three Generations, and in turn, is actually making us take this film seriously. He'll play the Gambino crime family underboss Neil Dellacroce, an "associate and mentor to Gotti Sr.," according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Travolta is already set to star as John Gotti Sr. and Barry Levinson -- who Pacino won Emmys with for their HBO telefilm You Don't Know Jack -- will direct the inevitably critically-acclaimed film. James Toback has also signed on to rewrite the script, originally penned by Leo Rossi. Others cast: Kelly Preston (Travolta's real-life wife), Ella Bleu Travolta (Travolta's real-life daughter), Lindsay Lohan (not related to Travolta as far as we know) and of course Joe Pesci because, well, he's Joe Pesci and this is a mob movie.

The movie's producer, Marc Fiore, tells People.com, "The love and passion between John and Kelly... will bring a huge benefit to John Sr. and his wife."
He adds, "They have a lot in common. They both lost a child at a young age and they understand what the Gottis went through when the Gottis lost their child."
Travolta and Preston's son Jett passed away in 2009.
Lindsay Lohan has also signed on to play Kim Gotti, the couple's daughter-in-law, in the movie.
Rain Man moviemaker Barry Levinson was announced as the film's director on Tuesday (03May11).
The My Cousin Vinny star has signed on to co-star in Gotti: Three Generations, which will be directed by Nick Cassavetes.
Travolta will play the mob boss in the project, while Pesci will portray Gotti deputy Angelo Ruggiero.
Pesci tells WENN, "I'm really happy to be making this picture with my good friend Nick Cassavetes. It's going to be a great experience and a rare opportunity to look inside the life of Gotti."
Travolta's daughter Ella Bleu will also have a featured role in the film, according to a release from the producers at Fiore Films.
Lindsay Lohan is also in negotiations for a role as Travolta's onscreen daughter, Victoria, in the biopic.
Producer Marc Fiore confirms, "Lindsay is a terrific actress. Nothing has been finalised, but we are definitely in talks."
And she already has a fan in the real life Victoria Gotti.
She says, "I think she's incredible. I think she's a great actress. I think she can do... any role, really."
The Hollywood couple, also parents to daughter Ella Bleu, 10, welcomed little Benjamin in November (10).
Preston appeared on America's The Today Show on Wednesday (19Jan11) and revealed she opted to keep as quiet as possible while delivering her baby boy. She says, "Silent birth is basically just no words as much as possible. If you need to moan, if you need to cry out... of course that's normal. But, it's just bringing them in, in as peaceful and gentle a way as possible."
Preston also explained silent births are common in the couple's Scientology religion, and she's convinced her children have benefited from the technique, adding, "My kids have always been amazing. Just very calm, very peaceful, happy and I absolutely know it's very much because of that."
