The son of disgraced American football legend Lawrence Taylor has been arrested for rape in Georgia. Lawrence Taylor, Jr. has been charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and statutory aggravated sodomy, according to officials at the Cobb County Sheriff's Office, who arrested him on Sunday (07Jul13).
The 32 year old forcibly performed oral sex on a girl under the age of 16, according to the police report, obtained by TMZ.com.
It's the latest sex scandal to hit the Taylor family - the former New York Giants star was arrested for rape back in 2010 after having sex with an underage prostitute. He pleaded guilty to one count of patronising a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct. He was sentenced to six years probation with no jail time and also had to register as a sex offender.
Bobby Brown's older brother is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) after he was arrested by Georgia police early on Saturday (15Jun13). Tommy Brown was pulled over by cops in Cobb County on suspicion of DUI and speeding. He was booked for the two misdemeanours and his bail has been set at $1,650 (£1,065), according to TMZ.com.
Tommy, who has previously appeared on reality TV shows Being Bobby Brown and The Houstons: On Our Own, is no stranger to the law - he was busted in March (13) for driving on a suspended license charge and improper passing of an emergency highway vehicle.
And he isn't the first in his family to face DUI counts - singer Bobby Brown has been convicted of the same charge three times to date and was sentenced to 55 days behind bars for his latest incident in February (13). However, the New Edition star served just nine hours in a Los Angeles jail in March (13) and was released due to prison overcrowding.
The former heavyweight champion of the world wants a judge to scale down the sum he pays Janice Itson - the mother of one of his eleven children - because he's poorer than he was when they divorced in 2000.
According to TMZ.com, Holyfield filed documents in Cobb County Superior Court in Georgia last week (ends22Jan10), asking for his agreement with Itson to be modified, because his "income has decreased".
The fighter also cites other children "for whom he is also responsible to support".
