The photographer behind Madonna's infamous SEX book is caught up in his own headline-grabbing story after launching legal action against his ex-boyfriend. Celebrated fashion snapper Steven Meisel, who also shot the Material Girl's Like A Virgin album cover, filed suit on Tuesday (16Jul13) against his former lover Benjamin Forest.
Meisel wants a judge to rule that Forest has no legal claim against his property portfolio, including his $13 million (£8.4 million) estate in Los Angeles, following their 2010 split.
The lawsuit, obtained by New York Post gossip column Page Six, states, "There exists no agreement, oral (or) in writing, conferring up the defendant the right to receive any funds (from the house). Plaintiff is no longer willing to provide, voluntarily and gratuitously, for any of defendant's living expenses."
Meisel was the mastermind of Madonna's controversial 1992 coffee table book, and has also snapped supermodels Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington and worked with another pop icon, Mariah Carey.
Nicole Fox, who won Bank's reality contest America's Next Top Model last year (09), will feature on print and multi-media ads for the Brit.
She's the first Top Model winner to land an international campaign.
Fox tells WENN, "It seems Tyra's risk is paying off."
The model, who admires Kate Moss, now has her sights set on working with high fashion photographer Steven Meisel: "If I ever modelled for him, I'd be blown away."
And she hopes her latest big break could bring her to the attention of movie hunk Robert Pattinson.
She adds, "I have a crush on him and I met him last year in New York during his promotional tour for New Moon."
Fox might get the chance to run into the star again next month (Feb10) as both are expected to be part of New York fashion week.
