Pop star Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field are expecting their second child. The former Take That singer took to Twitter.com on Monday (28Apr14) to share the exciting news with his fans.
He wrote, "Ayda and I are delighted to announce that Theodora Rose Williams is going to be a big sister."
Williams and Field wed in 2010 and little Theodora Rose was born in September, 2012.
British pop star Robbie Williams still smokes marijuana, despite his past battles with drug addiction. The Angels hitmaker has checked into rehab on several occasions to tackle alcoholism and substance abuse issues, but turned his life around after moving from the U.K. to Los Angeles and meeting his wife, Ayda Field, whom he married in 2010.
Williams even quit his 60-a-day cigarette habit, but has now revealed he still smokes marijuana on rare occasions.
However, the pop star insists he is careful not to lose control due to his responsibility to his young daughter, Theodora.
He tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "The last time I got high was two days ago. Since the birth of Theo I've become less reckless.
"I last drank 13 years ago, the last time I got high was two days ago. No big drug sessions, mind, just a small amount, purely to relax.
"I'm allowed to go crazy once in a while, just as long as I don't lose control. I have to be there to take care of my daughter, right? That is the good thing - by putting responsibility on my shoulders she is also taking care of me."
British pop star Robbie Williams has gone under the needle for a tattoo in honour of his baby daughter. The former Take That star has added a picture of a teddy bear to his left arm as a tribute to his little girl Theodora 'Teddy' Rose, who was born in September (12).
He tells the Irish Independent, "(My daughter is) named Teddy and I have a little teddy bear with a 'T' on her tummy tattooed on my left arm."
Teddy is Willliams' first child with his wife Ayda Field, and the singer admits he has also penned a track for his baby girl, adding, "I've written a song about Teddy called Go Gentle."
British singer Robbie Williams has denied rumours he is recording a new track with Adele, insisting he is "too terrified" to ask the soul star about a collaboration. The former Take That star grew close to Adele after she struck up a friendship with his wife Ayda Field when they both became first time mothers last year (12).
Recent reports suggested the singers will join forces on his upcoming big band covers album, but Williams has now clarified rumours he is to record a duet with the Oscar winner.
He tells Ireland's RTE Ten, "She's my mate and I'm absolutely terrified to ask her! I haven't asked her and I won't be asking her because the whole world wants to sing with Adele right now. Her and my wife Ayda are really good friends and I'm really good friends with Simon (Konecki), her boyfriend. We're good pals but I wouldn't ask Adele to sing on my record."
Williams has confirmed Canadian crooner Michael Buble will make an appearance on the album after the pair got to know each other during appearances on the U.K version of The X Factor.
Does Real Housewife of New York City Jill Zarin want a spin-off show in London?
Of course she does. Who wouldn’t?
The Daily Mail (who can totally be trusted) says Zarin and her husband are looking at houses in London and that they'd be interested in starring in a London-based Real Houswives spin-off show. She’s even been hanging out with actress Ayda Field (of Days of Our Lives fame and wife to Robbie Williams), which sparked rumors of Field's involvement with the potential series. It’d be the first international Housewives series, if it ever comes to fruition, but something tells me crossing the border won’t stop the craziness from happening.
