Socialite Ivana Trump has sparked rumours of a reconciliation with her toyboy ex-husband after they were pictured enjoying a vacation in Europe together. Donald Trump's ex-wife, 64, wed Rossano Rubicondi, 41, in Florida in 2008, but they split just six months later and subsequently divorced.
However, they now appear to be giving their romance another try after they were pictured on a sun-soaked break in Sardinia, Italy over the weekend (10-11Aug13).
Photographs show the pair lounging on the beach together and splashing happily in the sea.
Rubicondi was Ivana's fourth husband. She divorced TV tycoon Trump in 1992.
The property mogul's former partner took legal action against bosses at IVANAhelsinki over the company's branding, claiming founder Paola Suhonen had no right to use the name Ivana.
Both sides have now avoided an expensive and lengthy legal battle by settling the matter out of court, with Suhonen agreeing to change the spelling of the firm's name for the American market.
She says, "Ms. Trump will continue her business ventures with the name Ivana Trump, and we will continue with our name IVANAhelsinki, but we will spell it a little differently... Going into litigation in the U.S. is very expensive. The best solution was that we could settle it out of court."
The former wife of U.S. tycoon Donald Trump wed Italian toyboy Rossano Rubicondi in Florida in April 2008. They split just six months later (Oct10) and Trump filed for divorce last December (09).
But the star is refusing to let her latest failed marriage dampen her search for lasting love - she is reportedly back on the dating scene and is stepping out with French-born art expert Michael Kennedy, according to New York gossip column Page Six.
A source tells the publication, "She is really very happy."
Donald Trump's ex-wife ordered her attorney to fire off a cease and desist letter to bosses at IVANAhelsinki ahead of their runway show demanding they cancel the event over accusations they shouldn't be using the name Ivana, which she has trademarked.
An aide attempted to gain access to the show to serve Finnish designer Ivana Helsinki with a summons and a complaint for trademark infringement, but the unnamed man was escorted out.
However, he later fulfilled his duty by waiting for the fashion house boss outside an afterparty until the early hours of the morning when he was finally able to hand over the papers.
Trump's lawyer Gary Lyman tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "Personal service is the best kind. For all we knew, she could have left for Finland the next morning."
The ex-wife of property mogul Donald Trump ordered her lawyers to fire off a cease and desist letter to bosses at IVANAhelsinki ahead of their runway show in New York on Thursday (16Sep10).
Trump has trademark rights to the name Ivana for her own fashion line and is demanding commission and royalties from IVANAhelsinki bosses if they want to go ahead with their fashion launch.
Her lawyer Gary Lyman tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "Using her name dilutes its value and is damaging to her reputation."
But IVANAhelsinki officials are refusing to bow to Trump's demands, telling the publication they have no intention of cancelling the show.
Ivanka Trump, the real estate tycoon's child with ex-wife Ivana, has already added jewellery and footwear designer to her name and now she's teamed up with luxury label Mondani to introduce her bag collection.
Breaking the news to fans on her Twitter.com page on Friday (23Jul10), she wrote, "Just concluded a meeting with my handbag partners. The bags looking amazing! Ladies..you’ll love them! The line will be in stores next March!"
And Trump, 28, insists the designs will be affordable for all. She adds, "I want them to be accessible to everyone!"
Donald Trump's ex-wife proved a hit with viewers of Britain's Celebrity Big Brother last month (Jan10), and the 60 year old is keen to use her newfound popularity in England to conquer the charts.
Celebrity stylist Stuart Phillips says, “Ivana is truly a surprising lady. She’s hiding a stunning singing voice and now, with the publicity of Big Brother, she would love to launch a pop career.
"She might seem aloof but she is incredibly talented and creative. I arrived at her home and was greeted by her 10 staff. Then suddenly, halfway through the styling, Ivana asked all of her staff, myself and my make-up artist, to stop working and dance to her new record.
“I was amazed to hear it was Ivana singing. Her music is fun and positive. When people hear her songs they will be surprised.”
The Usual Suspects star lost a public vote after lining up against Donald Trump's ex-wife Ivana and rapper Sisqo on Friday night (22Jan10).
Sisqo was evicted shortly after.
Speaking after leaving the house, born-again Christian Baldwin said, "I learned a lot about myself, I learned a lot about my faith through interacting with these people."
Stars still on the show include Trump, actor Vinnie Jones and actress Stephanie Beacham.
The 62-year-old actress is currently starring in British reality show Celebrity Big Brother, alongside Stephen Baldwin, Sisqo, Ivana Trump and former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
And when glamour model Nicola T told the group she thought the ex-brothel boss was "the most interesting person I think I've ever met in my life," Beacham was quick to reveal her own scandalous dealings.
She told her shocked housemates, "Highest I've ever been offered for a night is 40 grand."
But actor Baldwin misheard the 62 year old, naively enquiring, "Forty pound?"
To which a disgruntled Beacham insisted, "Forty thousand."
The TV veteran is reportedly receiving a $160,000 (£100,000) fee for her stint on the show.
The Danish star had a fling with the New York Jets quarterback in 1988 while he was still married to wife Lisa. She went on to have his child, Killian, in 1989 before fleeing the U.S. to live in Italy.
And despite knowing the child was his, the sportsman kept his estranged son a secret from his daughter Brittny for 20 years - until the reality TV socialite's mum bumped into Nielsen at Ivana Trump's wedding last year (09).
Brittny tells New York gossip column PageSix, "Brigitte literally said to my mom at Ivana's wedding: 'I have a son who wants to meet his sister.' Meeting my half-brother for the first time was really very weird and very emotional. The brother I never knew I had - it's a lot to take in... All my life, I've always said I wanted a brother. I definitely want us to be close."
And Brittny is upset that she has missed out on so much time with her brother: "I feel sad that I've had a brother for 20 years that I never knew growing up. He's very tall and blond, and looks identical to Brigitte. He doesn't speak much English because he grew up in Italy. He's really sweet."
