Ferdaus Shamim/GettyWith original member Charlie Simpson still refusing to go back to his boyband-with-guitars days now that he's a semi-credible singer-songwriter, Matt Willis and James Bourne, aka the remaining members of mid-'00s UK chart-toppers Busted, have now instead hooked up with the group they undoubtedly paved the way for, McFly, for the latest big pop reunion tour. But which other pop acts could realistically join forces to form in the wake of the newest 'supergroup' McBusted. Here's a look at five potential ideas.Destiny's Child/TLCIt's unlikely that Beyoncé will ever wish to share the limelight with her former Destiny's Child bandmates for more than a few minutes, a la the Super Bowl, ever again. But there's nothing to stop Kelly and Michelle hooking up with T-Boz and Chilli to create the ultimate 90s R&B girlband crossover.Sugababes Versions 1-4The recent reunion of Mutya Keisha Siobhan, the original line-up of the ever-revolving Sugababes, hasn't exactly been a roaring success, while the latest line-up of Jade, Heidi and Amelle has been missing in action ever since 2011. But with a decade of hook-laden hits between them, a show featuring the four various line-ups would undoubtedly reignite both parties' careers.BSBNSYNCBackstreet Boys have already embraced the supergroup concept having toured and recorded with New Kids On The Block. And while Justin Timberlake is too much of a superstar to revisit his teen-pop past for more than a quick MTV VMA medley, the other four members would surely be open to hooking up with their old rivals for a feast of late '90s/early '00s boyband pop.S Club 15The term 'supergroup' might be pushing it here but it would certainly be interesting to see one of the biggest pop groups of the early '00s, S Club 7, team up with the eight members of their mini-me spin-off S Club Juniors – two of which are now in The Saturdays – for a massive S Club Party.Boyzone/WestlifeThey would possibly be the dreariest pop 'supergroup' of all time, but fans of karaoke covers and 'stand up for the key change' ballads would be in pop heaven if Irish boyband Boyzone and their recently-defunct successors Westlife decided to pool their coma-inducing resources together.
Mc Lyte was honoured at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Saturday (28Sep13) for paving the way for female rappers. The 42 year old, who was the first woman to release a full-length rap album in 1988, was handed the I Am Hip-Hop Award by rapper Eve at the event at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Georgia.
Eve told the star-studded crowd, "She set the precedent for female freestylers. I'm truly, truly honoured. She has meant so much to me in my career."
Fellow female rap veteran Queen Latifah recorded a video message praising MC Lyte, as did superstar couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Accepting her prize, Lyte, real name Lana Michelle Moorer, said, "Please keep the dream alive, I am with you."
Other winners including Drake, who was named the People's Champ. The full list of award recipients will be revealed when the prizegiving is broadcast in the U.S. on 5 October (13).
Kendrick Lamar took to the stage to perform a four-minute freestyle rap, while Montana, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony also played.
Snoop Dogg hosted the ceremony.
Ah... Robert De Niro using the f-word... it just feels right. It's like coming home after a long vacation. The trip might have been nice, but you only get to truly call one place your own. And De Niro's home is in those four little letters. There have been previous trailers for The Family, but this newest red band trailer ratchets up the colorful language to its blissful peak, and turns the f-bomb into an expressive piece of art. Bobby D hasn't had a role in a while that has really let him get down and dirty, but The Family looks like the movie that will turn all that PG-13 nonsense around. Most importantly, it looks like the legendary actor is finally having some fun at the movies again.
In the film, De Niro plays Fred Manzoni, an old school Brooklyn wise guy who gets himself and his family shipped to France when they have to enter the Witness Protection Program. Of course, all four members of the family have to deal with the massive culture shock, and old mob habits definitely die hard. The black humor in this trailer makes The Family look like a great comeback for De Niro. Not that he ever truly went away; he's maintained great titles like Silver Linings Playbook, but there's something nostalgic about seeing the actor play a sleezy mobster with a penchant for swearing. In this role, it seems like he's wrapped up his whole mob filmography, from The Godfather Part II to Goodfellas, into one expletive-ladden victory lap. Welcome back, Mr. De Niro. Welcome the f**k back.

Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and singer Grace Jones were among the famous faces in the crowd for the first day of Britain's Wimbledon tennis tournament on Monday (24Jun13).
Robert De Niro cut his teeth on the mobster genre, earning just about every accolade he has received to date for his tenure under the direction of crime-obsessed Martin Scorsese. Although Silver Linings Playbook was an enthusiastic reminder of the actor's capabilities, De Niro's recent turns in the family comedy spectrum have been less than impressive. Luckily, rumors have amounted that he and Scorsese are back in talks for some new projects... but he can't just jump right back into the pools of gangsterdom. He'll need to ease his way back in, just as he eased his way out: with a crime-themed comedy. Just as Analyze This took De Niro from one genre to the next, The Family might take him right back again. We hope.
Above is the first trailer for the flick, which stars De Niro as the patriarch of a family in Witness Protection after extensive interraction with the mob. His anger-prone, debauchery-inclined family includes wife Michelle Pfeiffer, daughter Dianna Agron, and son John D'Leo... none of whom find it easy to assimilate to French living. Oh yeah, they're in France. And Tommy Lee Jones is there.
The Family might not be De Niro's route back to his old trasngressive glory. But at least it looks to have a bit more edge than Little Fockers. Preserve hope, De Nirians!

Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Bell and Nia Vardalos are among the stars who have applauded Angelina Jolie for going public with her double mastectomy. The Salt actress underwent the preventative surgery earlier this year (13) after doctors informed her she had an 87 per cent risk of contracting breast cancer because she carried the "faulty" gene BRCA1.
Jolie opened up about her decision in Tuesday's (14May13) edition of the New York Times, and several of her acting peers took to their Twitter.com page to heap praise on the star for speaking publicly about the surgery.
Banks writes, "Much respect & for sharing in classy way", Bell declares, "An admirable op ed (opinion/editorial) by Angelina Jolie", and Vardalos tells her followers, "A moment of quiet respect for Angelina Jolie's candor (sic) and all women's bravery in facing this choice".
Marlee Matlin adds, "Brave, honest, strong. Angelina Jolie gets a double mastectomy. Agree with nia vardalos - quiet respect for her", while director Adam Shankman applauds, "Beautiful and brave article by angelina jolie".
Moviemaker Duncan Jones, whose wife Rodene Ronquillo was diagnosed with breast cancer in November (12), offers, "Huge gentle, loose-armed hugs from me and Rodene Ronquillo to Angelina Jolie for making her double mastectomy surgery public."
British pop star Michelle Heaton, who underwent a double mastectomy last year (12) in a bid to prevent her developing breast cancer, phoned in to U.K. morning show Daybreak to applaud Jolie's courage in going public with her surgery.
She says, "How she managed to keep it quiet is amazing and I'm totally in admiration for that but I'm also over the moon actually that she decided to come out and tell everybody what she's gone through. Over the last six months, with myself and then Sharon Osbourne (who underwent a preventive double mastectomy in 2012) and now Angelina it can only be a positive thing that the BRCA gene is being raised in the media. It's allowing women to be educated on the BRCA gene."
Singers Charlie Daniels, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and Kid Rock honoured the memory of country legend George Jones on Thursday (02May13) by gathering to perform at the late star's funeral in Nashville, Tennessee. The doors of The Grand Ole Opry House were thrown open for family, friends and fans to mourn the loss of the icon together during an emotional three-hour service at the country music mecca, and the auditorium was filled with the sound of music. Jones' widow Nancy sat with former U.S. First Lady Laura Bush and singing couple Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood as pals stepped up to the podium, with Tanya Tucker and the Imperials kicking off the performances with a cover of gospel classic, The Old Rugged Cross. Randy Travis paid tribute to his old collaborator with a rendition of Amazing Grace, accompanied by just an acoustic guitar.
Explaining his choice of track, he said, "When I heard him do this song, it literally gave me chills." Paisley revealed he had bonded with Jones after the veteran allowed him to keep his first horse on his family's farm, while Daniels delivered a moving speech about his longtime pal's ability to make music for all kinds of audiences: "He sang for us all, the non-stop partiers, the guys who are alone and the girl done wrong, the puppy lovers, the extrovert, the introvert and the guy at the end of the bar who never seems to go home... George had a song for everybody." Gill shared his memories of Jones, the man who gave him the nickname Sweet Pea, and confessed that he wasn't initially a fan of the moniker - although he has since learned to love it. He said, "The great thing is, every time someone calls me Sweet Pea, I'll get to think about him." Kid Rock injected a little humour into the memorial as he took the microphone to belt out the original tune Best of Me, asking Nancy to imagine that her late husband was actually the one singing, before quipping, "I know that's a huge (leap of) imagination.
Unshaven, long-haired confused country hip-hop rock 'n' roller trying to sing George Jones." Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee also spoke at the funeral, as did Wynonna Judd, Laura Bush, and Alan Jackson - who postponed two concerts to attend the memorial. He closed the service with Jones' most famous song, He Stopped Loving Her Today. Jones, 81, passed away on 26 April (13).
Actor Angus T. Jones has lost his status as a regular on hit TV sitcom Two And A Half Men just five months after labeling the show "filth" and urging viewers to turn it off. Network bosses at CBS have renewed the show for an 11th season, with stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer each signing new one-year contracts, but former child star Jones won't be back. Insiders claim he will return as a recurring guest star.
The news comes just months after Jones hit the headlines by taping a testimonial video for the religious organization Forerunner Chronicles. In the YouTube film that eventually went viral, he urged viewers to stop watching Two and a Half Men so he would no longer have to work on the show. He later apologized for his comments but rumors were rampant that he would either leave the hit series or be let go.
