Singer Rita Ora has reportedly turned down an opportunity to join the X Factor in the U.K. as a judge. Reports suggest Simon Cowell offered the R.I.P. hitmaker $1.6 million (GBP1 million) to replace former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, who exited the show in February (14).
British pop star Rita Ora has reached out to a superfan online to show her support after the girl was diagnosed with cancer. The R.I.P. hitmaker shared a photo of a devotee named Rebeka on her Instagram.com page on Saturday (01Mar14), and accompanied the post with a touching message to help lift her spirits.
She writes, "Hi Rebeka she is having cancer treatment. You are so brave you are the true superstar we are all with you. Thank you for everything you've done for me. For being an incredible supporter #Ritabot (fan) for ever (sic)".
Katy Perry and Rita Ora became high-fashion models for a day, when the singers hit the runway during Milan Fashion Week on Thursday (20Feb14). A day after the pop pals were partying in London for the BRIT Awards on Wednesday (19Feb14), they jetted to Italy to support designer pal Jeremy Scott.
The newly appointed creative director for Moschino debuted his collection for the brand, and he enlisted the beauties to show off edgy outfits from his Autumn/Winter 2014 collection on the catwalk.
Perry donned a black leather mini dress, a matching coat and gold accent pieces, including the signature oversized Moschino necklace.
Ora soon followed down the runway, wearing a black satin large t-shirt dress, with a certificate of authenticity printed in large lettering on the front.
Scott later posted a photo sitting in between his two muses on Instagram.com, along with a caption that reads: "THANK YOU @katyperry & @ritaora FOR BEING THE BEST GAL PALS A BOY COULD DREAM OF I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH !!!"

"I know Rita (Ora) and I know Fifty Shades of Grey - and I just can't wait for the movie. I've read the book and I just hope the movie is filthier than the book. Less talking, more action!" Oprah Winfrey is excited for the Fifty Shades Of Grey movie, in which British singer Rita Ora has a minor role.
Pop star couple Rita Ora and Calvin Harris are making sweet music together - they've headed into the studio to work on a collaboration. The Hot Right Now singer and her superstar DJ beau penned her new single, Will Never Let You Down, together, and they are stuck side-by-side during the recording of the track.
Announcing the duet on BBC Radio 1, Ora explained, "Honestly, it was so natural. I wouldn't have done it if it didn't make any sense. I was never really against (working with) people I'm involved with (and) doing something personally.
"We were sitting at home, he started humming and then I started humming and then we hummed together!"
The pair bounced back from recent reports they had split up by walking the red carpet hand-in-hand at the Grammy Awards last Sunday (26Jan14).
Pop star Rita Ora is homeless after abandoning her apartment following a fallout with her neighbours. The British singer decided to move out of her London home after her music-making sessions upset fellow residents.
She tells BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, "Do you want to know something funny? I'm actually homeless right now. I had to leave my flat because the neighbours didn't like me that much. I'd been recording my album there, which is not a really good idea."
However, Ora is not struggling for shelter - she's staying at her sister Elena's house.
The singer adds, "Long story short, I now live in my sister's flat."
Singer Rita Ora and DJ Calvin Harris have split after eight months of dating, according to a U.K. report. The R.I.P. hitmaker began dating Harris in May, 2013, but it wasn't love at first sight for the couple.
In 2012, they were involved in a Twitter.com feud after Harris accused the singer of lying when she claimed she had turned down Cheryl Cole's track Call My Name.
However, they were able to put their differences behind them and spark up a romance.
Last year (13), she told Britain's The Sun newspaper, "At the start we had a Twitter feud. So we never really liked each other in the beginning. Then, after that, it just kind of happened really."
The same newspaper has broken the love split story.
A source tells the publication, "It's been tough for both of them but it's been even harder for them to spend time together recently. He's been busy DJing and she's working on her new album and shooting (film) Fifty Shades of Grey.
"Calvin is more private when it comes to fame than Rita, which also played a part. He'd be happy to meet someone who has nothing to do with the industry."
Ora and Harris were last seen together on New Year's Eve (31Dec13).
Ora previously dated Kim Kardashian's brother Rob.

Music stars Rita Ora, Tinie Tempah and Emma Bunton are all backing a UNICEF campaign to help Syrian children who are facing a bleak winter in refugee camps. Millions of families have been displaced since war broke out between rebels and President Bashar al-Assad's troops in the Middle Eastern country in 2011.
Ewan McGregor has led a fundraising campaign as part of his role as an ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), which aims to help youngsters facing a third winter in treacherous conditions.
Now Ora, Tempah and Bunton have appeared in a promotional film to urge Brits to donate money to help pay for winter clothing, shelter, food and medicine.
Ora says, "Right now, children in Syria are suffering unspeakable violence, often fleeing their homes with nothing but the clothes on their back. Now facing a third winter in cold tents, their lives are threatened by the freezing temperatures. UNICEF works in more than 190 countries, from Kosovo to Syria and in all the countries providing refuge to Syrian children. Your donation could help UNICEF buy life-saving winter essentials to help bring children in from the cold."
McGregor adds, "My heart truly goes out to the millions of Syrian children who have lost everything: their families, friends and homes. Facing a third year in a freezing cold camp is no place anyone should call home, let alone a child. I worry that the world is starting to shut its eyes to the Syrian crisis."
