How do we put this delicately? That's the rub, really. Hugh Hefner's ex-fiance, Crystal Harris, not only dumped Hef days before their wedding, then aired their dirty laundry (and the Playboy creator's bedroom issues) all over Howard Stern's radio show, but now she's aiming to push her life into the reality television circuit. Our delicately-worded, burning question is this: what on earth will this show be about? Apparently, there is a premise -- and a rather honest one at that. Harris' show would follow her as she struggles to find a career after putting herself on the bad side of one of the best Tinseltown insiders she could have hoped for. Well, we've got to give her credit for trying to turn her home-grown lemons into some sort of lemonade.
Though the series' plot doesn't seem all that compelling, it doesn't seem to matter much, because Harris reportedly has meetings with various networks and there is actual interest in the former Playboy moguless-to-be's show. Imagine that. It's a wonder that shutting Hef down hasn't black-listed her completely in Hollywood. Aren't there any execs out there who are afraid to lose the chance to get an invite to Hef's annual, covetted Midsummer Night's Dream soiree? Whoever greenlights this show is sure to be banned from the famous grotto for all eternity.

The 85-year-old Playboy boss was set to make the 25-year-old his third wife in June (11), but the model walked out of their romance, and has since remarked that Hefner failed to satisfy her in the bedroom.
Editors at TMZ.com report that the outspoken beauty is now trying to shop a reality show to various networks. It will focus on her daily struggles after walking out on Hefner.
It's no more Miss Nice Bunny. Kendra Wilkinson decided that she hasn't been getting enough press these days after her little stint on Dancing With The Stars, so she's speaking out about how awful Crystal Harris has been to poor old Hugh Hefner. First Harris leaves Hef at the altar and then proceeds to tell Howard Stern that he lasted "two seconds" in bed (like we couldn't have guessed that anyway). Either way, Kendra thinks it's wrong and must speak out on behalf of her old boyfriend. I mean, yes, Kendra is also guilty of exposing her relationship with the magazine mogul in her tell-all book, Sliding Into Home, but evidently Crystal crossed a line and took the details too far. Even claiming that you held hands with the Playboy King is probably giving way too many details -- not to mention the fact that it makes my skin crawl -- but hey, that's just me.
During a recent interview with People Magazine, Kendra commented on Harris' recent actions saying, "Her situation is a lot more harsh...she was about to get married to him. I would have never agreed to get married to him."
Aside from the fact that she just gave Hef a backhanded compliment, she really shouldn't talk since she had no qualms about dishing the dirt on her sex life with the 85-year-old in her book AND she made a profit from it! So, let's not be too quick to point fingers, my dear.
Kendra goes on to describe her understood relationship with Hef saying, "He knew that we were friends. I knew that we were friends. But to [plan to] get married and then be a backstabber to someone like that – to take it to that level and then go and backstab, that's, like, cruel, you know?" Like totally. I try to always look at the positive side of things though. Crystal could have married Hef even though she didn't love him and then proceed to cheat on him or just use him for his money. She got cold feet and did what she had to do. She didn't want to waste her life being unhappy. Every second (or two seconds) counts.
Despite creating the namesake for NBC's new show, The Playboy Club, Hugh Hefner won't really be a part of the series moving forward. As it stands now, you can probably recognize the naked-photo tycoon's voice in the promos and in the opening and closing of the show, but other than a few small appearances, it looks like that will be the extent of his involvement.
The producers are looking to eliminate the use of narration in the show altogether, which would mean Hugh Hefner's Gossip Girl intros over the beginning and the end of the episodes will likely not continue past the pilot. This is probably for the best considering this show isn't exactly dealing with a handful of unruly teenagers. Like we mentioned, the Playboy founder will pop up here and there, but it's unclear in what capacity. At the ripe old age of 85, he certainly couldn't dab on a little makeup and play himself. Which means he'll probably have to wear something other than his iconic robe or captain's hat. Imagine that.
So apparently it's news to Crystal Harris that men don't like to hear that they're bad (or quick) in bed. After telling Howard Stern that sex with her former fiance, Hugh Hefner, lasted "like two seconds," Harris admits she may have said too much. The veteran Playboy Playmate tweeted Thursday night about her remarks on the show saying, "The Stern interview scared me, he's harsh. I was unprepared and blurted out things I shouldn't have said, I'm sorry." Anyone else pick up on the fact that she didn't say that what she said was inaccurate, just that she was sorry she said them? Big difference.
Evidently her tweet was good enough for Hef though who said he appreciated her public apology tweeting that "Crystal apologized for her Howard Stern interview, which I appreciated. It didn't have much to do with reality," and added "I think Crystal told Howard Stern what he wanted to hear." Oh Hef, how I do get a kick out of this little pretend bubble you live in where everyone still thinks of you as a sex king. You are 85 years old -- no one is judging you.
The always classy Playboy Titan doesn't blame Mr. Stern for any of the drama or hold any grudge against the radio trouble-maker commenting, "I don't blame Howard...Crystal shouldn't have been booked on the show at this sensitive time." More sensitive for some than others apparently.
The Playboy mogul was left heartbroken after the 25-year-old model called off their wedding plans at the last minute in June (11).
The pair has so far managed to remain friends, with Hefner stating, "I think an argument could be made that she took me for a ride but I must say, quite frankly, it was a pretty nice ride. It was two and a half very good years."
But now the split has turned nasty, with Harris appearing on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday (26Jul11) to mock Hefner's sexual prowess.
She told the host that sex with the publishing boss lasted "like two seconds", before adding, "Then I was just over it. I was like, 'Ahhh.' I was over it. I just like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef, sorry. He doesn't really take off his clothes. I've never seen Hef naked."
Now Hefner has hit back at Harris' comments, branding the blonde a liar over her remarks.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "Crystal did a crazy interview with Howard Stern today that didn't have much to do with reality. Is she trying to impress a new boyfriend?
"The sex with Crystal the first night was good enough so that I kept her over two more nights. Crystal lied about our relationship on Howard Stern but I don't know why... When I said, 'I missed a bullet' when Crystal left, I didn't mean I didn't love her. I meant I realized she really didn't love me... I feel sorry for Crystal. She seems lost. Crystal convinced me that she adored me. That was the first lie."
Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton appear to be friends again. Apparently, Lindsay showed up at a party at Paris' house, and everyone was shocked when Lindsay walked in and she hugged Paris. People have also told TMZ that Paris is "very excited" about becoming friends with Lindsay again, and that "she LOVED seeing her again." Is she intentionally not doing things that would help her career? - TMZ
Radar Online claims that before Jesse James and Kat Von D broke off their engagement, they had a fight about another woman. An eyewitness claims Jesse and Kat had an argument outside Kat's home in Los Angeles, and said "They were outside and I could hear them fighting. Kat kept throwing some woman's name out and arguing about how she didn't like him living so far away. Jesse finally said 'Fine, fuck you!' and sped away on his motorcycle. Kat sat in her Bentley with her head on the steering wheel for about three minutes before driving away." Geez you guys, how come there's not a holiday to celebrate and appreciate eyewitnesses? - Radar Online
Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner's ex-fiance, told Howard Stern on Tuesday that sex with Hef lasted..not very long. Harris said, "[It lasted] like, two seconds. Then I was just over it. I was like, 'Ahh.' I was over it. I just, like, walked away. I'm not turned on by Hef. Sorry. Hef has since responded to Cyrstal's allegations, and he tweeted "Crystal did a crazy interview with Howard Stern today that didn't have much to do with reality. Is she trying to impress a new boyfriend? The sex with Crystal the first night was good enough so that I kept her over two more nights. Crystal lied about our relationship on Howard Stern but I don't know why." Wait. He "kept" her? - Us, Blabberlicious
The magazine mogul was jilted days before the couple's planned wedding last month (Jun11) and Hefner believes the 25-year-old model may have called off the ceremony after falling for someone else.
In his first TV interview since the split, Hefner tells CNN newsman Piers Morgan, "I really don't know what happened. I think that in time the rest of the story will play out... There's more that we don't know. I think there's at least one other guy in the picture... I am prepared for that probability (of another man). I think that is part of it.
"The explanation probably has more to do with the fact that it had run its course and she didn't really love me."
The publisher is also convinced that Harris - who launched her debut single four days before she was due to walk down the aisle - was more interested in fame than being his wife.
He adds, "I think that the career was more important to her than she let on. As a matter of fact, when we were in London, she was thinking more about the song than (the relationship)."
The Playboy mogul was stunned to learn on Monday (11Jul11) that speculation on the web suggested he'd passed away, and he immediately took to his Twitter.com page to clear up the reports.
In a series of posts, the star writes, "The rumors (sic) of my death are, as Mark Twain observed in a similar situation, greatly exaggerated. I'm very much alive & kicking.
"I'm lying in bed next to (girlfriend) Shera with a big smile on my face, reading tweets about my unexpected demise."
Hefner also revealed to fans that he was spending his day watching a programme detailing his marriage drama last month (Jun11), which saw fiancee Crystal Harris end their relationship just days before their planned wedding.
He adds, "The guys & I watched an early edit of 'Hef's Runaway Bride' tonight. The fans are going to love it."
The Playboy boss was dumped by model Harris just days before their wedding earlier this month (Jun11), but he's refused to allow the heartbreak to get him down.
But after introducing his new love, playmate Shera Bechard, to Twitter.com fans on Monday (27Jun11), Hefner received backlash for taking on a new relationship so soon.
However, the 85 year old was quick to explain his reasoning and responded to his critics on Tuesday (28Jun11), writing, "A new GF is the only logical response to heartbreak...What's your remedy for a broken heart?"
