LMFAO star Redfoo is convinced a nightclub reveller who threw a glass at his head in an unprovoked attack was jealous because the pop star was surrounded by sexy girls.
The rapper, real name Stefan Gordy, received treatment at the scene for a cut to his head following the incident in Australia, but the injury did not require stitches. He had been attacked during a bash in a private area of the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Sydney, and Redfoo is convinced his assailant was envious because he was partying the night away with a group of beautiful women.
Speaking after the incident in the early hours of Wednesday (27Aug14), he says, "We were about to round up the party and take it home to the afterparty. All of a sudden out of nowhere a glass hits me in the head and I look over to see who might have thrown it and I see kind of a dodgy fella trying to flee the scene. "I looked down at my hand and there was blood all over my hand. There's blood on the dance floor... I was appalled. It was unbelievable to me that this would happen. I lost my mind. The whole side of my face was bloody. It was unbelievable, like I'd been hit in the head with an axe... "I can't help it if the girls are gyrating their hips towards me and taking selfies and giggling and laughing and it seems like he might have been upset with that and didn't like what he saw. The first thing I would say to him is 'Bro, I've got to understand why did you do it. I want him to just tell me the truth. If you are a man and jealous, just say it'."
However, Redfoo is adamant he still loves life in Australia, adding, "This isn't the Aussie way, I can guarantee that. This is the most loving country I've been to ever, and by no means am I letting this get to me. I have only positive feelings about Australia and the people."

A musical stage adaptation of Back To The Future will be hit by delays after the director walked out in a bust-up over creative differences.
The sci-fi adventure comedy, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, was a smash hit movie in 1985, and a musical stage version was scheduled to premiere in London's West End in 2015 to coincide with the film's 30th anniversary.
The production will no longer be ready for next year (15) as the British director Jamie Lloyd has withdrawn from his role following creative disputes with writer Bob Gale, who penned the movie, its sequels and the upcoming musical script.
Workshops for the show were due to be staged but now Gale will rewrite the entire script and send the new version to directors next year (15). Jamie Lloyd tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper his departure was "just a case of wanting to stand by my vision... you absolutely have to believe in it or there's not much point."
The musical production is now expected to remain in development until 2016.
Miley Cyrus has offered to pay the legal fees for a homeless youth she took to the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (24Aug14) as he turns himself in to police for violating his probation.
Jesse Helt hit headlines on Sunday when he accepted Cyrus' Video of the Year award on behalf of all homeless people in the U.S. It later emerged that a warrant was out for Helt's arrest in his native Oregon because he violated his probation stemming from a burglary in 2010.
Helt turned himself in to the police on Thursday (28Aug14) and was released after posting a $2,500 (£1,470) bail, and his mother Linda has now confirmed Cyrus has offered to cover all the legal costs.
The singer's pal Trevor Neilson tells the Associated Press, "Jesse Helt turned himself in.. to Polk County authorities to address his outstanding legal issues... Miley Cyrus will be assisting him with this process, and they both are committed to working to help the other 1.6 million youth who experience homelessness in America each year."
Following the burglary in 2010, Helt was convicted of criminal mischief and criminal trespass, and in 2011 he broke his probation by failing to take a drug test, communicate with his probation officer or complete his community service. Helt is due back before a judge in September (14).

Singer Demi Lovato has praised reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her sisters for inspiring women to be proud of their curves.
The Skyscraper hitmaker, who has previously received treatment for bulimia, wasn't afraid to show some skin during Sunday's (24Aug14) 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in a plunging red gown, a style which is vastly different to her previous looks at the prizegiving.
Lovato took to Instagram.com on Monday (25Aug14) to compare her red carpet style over the years, including her 2008 dress, which she remembers forced her to ask for "Spanx to flatten my stomach". She tells Access Hollywood, "There's the element of insecurity when I go to an awards show... I was 16 and I was having an incredible time, but at the same time I was miserable. "I look back at that and think you know what I may have been thinner then but I'm so happy that I'm healthy today. And I have curves which are a lot sexier than what I was aiming for. Now I think curves are beautiful."
The singer credits her confidence to celebrities who aren't afraid to show off their voluptuous figures, including curvy Kardashian and her siblings Khloe and Kourtney. Lovato adds, "J Lo (Jennifer Lopez), Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, Beyonce - who I don't really consider human, she's more like a goddess. I really think they had a huge impact on that (my confidence). That's why you can think whatever you want about the Kardashians but they really did help tons of women feel comfortable within their own skin."
Lovato left rehab in 2011 following three months of treatment for her eating disorder and her substance abuse and self-harming problems.

"I wanted you to know that I made this sign in your honor - and I'm sending a big big hug and my hope and prayers. Just know - I'm a really big fan of YOURS! PS anyone else - feel free to make your own sign for Will and post it with the hashtag #TeamWill so he can see it... I'm sure he'd love that!"

Nascar race ace Tony Stewart will return to the track this weekend (30-31Aug14) for the first time after he struck and killed rival Kevin Ward, Jr. during a sprint car race at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in upstate New York on 9 August (14). The three-time Sprint Cup Series champion will rev up at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Georgia after missing three races following the track tragedy.

Drivers now are required to remain strapped in their cars until safety crews arrive and can escort them from the scene. No driver is allowed to walk onto the racing surface.
