Kid Rock and his Alabama neighbour Jamey Johnson recently fell out when the country rocker turned an invite to hunt on Rock's land into a camp-out for himself and a gang of friends. The two musicians became friends after meeting at mutual pal Hank Williams, Jr.'s home near their two estates, and Kid Rock was more than happy to let Johnson use his land for a father-and-daughter day out - but he had to ask his guests to leave when they turned the excursion into a camping party.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "He brought in a bunch of f**kin' hillbillies. They were living by the creek - tents set up, riding around trying to kill s**t. I got really p**sed... I had to tell them to get the f**k off my property."
Johnson accepts he overstayed his welcome, telling the publication, "I moved into his woods out there for a while. It was what started off to be maybe five or six people, but it turned into about 20 or 30. I agreed with Bobby (Rock). It was just time."
The London premiere of raunchy movie Fifty Shades Of Grey was marred by protest groups campaigning against domestic violence on Thursday night (12Feb15).
Members of the Fifty Shades is Domestic Violence campaign group descended on Leicester Square in the British capital armed with placards, balloons, T-shirts and a large banner to protest against the film's portrayal of a kinky relationship while the stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan walked the grey carpet.
Other individuals held up placards to condemn the film for allegedly glamorising domestic violence, with one sign reading, "#BlueAboutGrey - because some Ana's don't survive their Christian's (sic)".
Director Sam Taylor-Johnson addressed the calls of domestic violence to U.K. TV show Good Morning Britain, saying, "We took a very definite approach towards empowering Anastasia and she goes on a sexual exploration, but it's one she goes on willingly and she consents throughout."
Stars including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, author E.L. James, former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and singer Jamelia also attended the premiere.
Former AC/DC rocker Malcolm Young has a pacemaker to correct an ongoing heart problem. The guitarist stepped down from the legendary rock band last year (14) as he battles dementia, and last month (Dec14) his brother and bandmate Angus Young revealed Malcolm had also undergone heart and lung procedures.
Now it has emerged the poorly star had a pacemaker fitted in his chest several years ago and he broke the news to the band's singer Brian Johnson in a light-hearted manner over dinner.
Johnson tells Q magazine, "This is typical Malcolm - he got hold of my hand and (banged it on his chest). He says: 'Pacemaker. F**king good, mate.' He scared the s**t out of us! And there's a twinkle in his eye, he was tickled pink. It was like he was showing us a new fuzzbox or something!"
Tragic former Ac/Dc star Malcolm Young underwent heart and lung operations just before dementia forced him to quit the band, according to his brother Angus. The bassist stepped down from the group in September (14) after his family confirmed his mental issues had robbed him of his musical talents.
Brother Angus Young now reveals he was also dealing with some physical ailments, but he has since recovered from them.
He tells radio station KISW, "He had a lung operation; he had a heart operation. He seemed to get everything hit him at once, besides his dementia. So he had quite a lot of things going on.
"The physical side of him is great, because he got the best treatment for his lungs and for his heart. At the moment, he's in good care. He's happy himself, because he's being well looked after."
Guitarist Angus and frontman Brian Johnson recently revealed their ailing bandmate's dementia issues started becoming a problem during AC/DC's last world tour, which ran from 2008 to 2010, and there were times he didn't know where he was.
Johnson said, "God knows what went through his mind in some nights when he wasn't that well. He'd go onstage and... 'Oh s**t!' Can you imagine knowing you're not sure about (what's happening)? You know where you are, put it that way, but your mind's playing tricks."
Ac/Dc star Angus Young has conceded his brother Malcolm struggled with dementia on the band's last tour and there were some nights onstage when the veteran rocker did not know where he was. Bassist Malcolm Young stepped down from the group in September (14) so he can receive full-time care for the disorder, and he has been replaced in the line-up by his nephew, Stevie Young.
Angus has now revealed his sibling began showing symptoms several years ago, and they were all very worried about him during their Black Ice World Tour, which ran from 2008 until 2010.
He tells Britain's The Guardian, "It was hard work for him. He was relearning a lot of those songs that he knew backwards; the ones we were playing that night he'd be relearning. He was his own driver. He himself had that thing, where you've just got to keep going... Sometimes you would look and he'd be there, and you'd be, 'Malcolm!' And you'd have a really great day and he'd be Malcolm again. And other times, his mind was going. But he still held it together. He'd still get on the stage. Some nights he played and you'd think: 'Does he know where he is?' But he got through."
Frontman Brian Johnson adds, "God knows what went through his mind in some nights when he wasn't that well. He'd go onstage and ... 'Oh s**t!' Can you imagine knowing you're not sure about (what's happening)? Y'know where you are, put it that way, but your mind's playing tricks. He was brilliant. He did brilliant."
The singer adds that the other bandmembers wanted to step in and help, but they were worried about denting Malcolm's pride. He adds, "It was tough. But you couldn't say anything or do anything, because it would have been like giving pity. You had to treat it like a normal day. So we did."
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has publicly pitched a buddy cop movie idea to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in a bid to land a role opposite his wrestling hero. The 25 year old reveals he used to imitate wrestlers as a child to perfect his American accent and now he's become a movie star, he would love to team up with fighter-turned-actor The Rock, even though he openly admits they would make an unlikely pair onscreen.
Radcliffe has even come up with his own idea for a project he hopes the action man would be interested in.
During an appearance on America's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (28Oct14), he explained, "The Rock was always my favourite... and I harbour a not-so-secret desire to somehow find a part for me and Dwayne Johnson to play in the same movie...
"My initial thought was a buddy cop movie about two kind of unlikely partners who are forced to work together and then are bonded by... their love of music... (The film would be) called Siren Song, so we could pitch that (to Johnson)... Wouldn't you like to see me and The Rock do that?"
Turning to the camera, Radcliffe appealed directly to Johnson to get in touch, saying, "So The Rock, if you want to make (this film)...!"
And Radcliffe's enthusiasm for a joint project wouldn't be a surprise for Johnson, because he already knows how big a fan the Brit is of his days in the ring.
The actor added, "He knows I'm a fan 'cause I've had mutual friends who've dressed him on other films and stuff, so I actually have a T-shirt that one of them got him to make me... well they made it, he took the picture... but it's just a T-shirt with a picture of him holding up a sign saying, 'Dan Radcliffe, Number One Fan', which I have, I have that!"

Rapper J.cole has paid tribute to a black teenager killed by a police officer in Missouri by releasing a new song dedicated to him. Darren Wilson shot unarmed Michael Brown, who was suspected of stealing a box of cigars from a suburban St. Louis store, on 9 August (14), and the incident has sparked a series of tense protests between African-Americans and civil rights leaders and officials in the state.
As Governor Jay Nixon, President Barack Obama and Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson join forces in a bid to end days of violence, hip-hop star Cole has released Be Free to voice his frustrations with the deaths of African-American men in the U.S.
In a post on his website, Dreamvillain.com, he writes, "That coulda (sic) been me, easily. It could have been my best friend. I'm tired of being desensitized to the murder of black men. I don't give a f**k if it's by police or peers. This s**t is not normal. I made a song. This is how we feel."
Cole is not the only celebrity to speak out about the incident in Missouri - John Legend, Kerry Washington and Mark Ruffalo have voiced concerns over the treatment of protesters by police following the shooting.
Legend took to Twitter.com to voice his opinion, writing, "I believe these cops are intentionally trying to inflame the situation. They want an excuse. Recall the local cop telling those 'animals' to 'bring it' on (news channel) CNN... He wants a fight.
"Calling us 'animals' has been the language to justify slavery... Dehumanization and racism go together."
Meanwhile, R&B star Frank Ocean took to Tumblr.com to comment on an image of Governor Nixon standing in front of a black woman as he addressed the slaying of Brown and wrote, "You see that black woman standing up there? I wonder if she was called to stand behind the governor because she’s black. I wonder if i’m supposed to think Missouri’s gov’t is pro-black because of her being stood up there with those other black men being all black and everything. I wonder if she was off the clock while she stood up there... then i wonder if she was getting paid for her time off like the guy who shot Michael 8 times."
A homeless man who broke into a U.S. TV studio wielding a knife has been sent for mental evaluation after an outburst in court. Andre Johnson was arrested for assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing earlier this month (Jul14) after he gained access to the Good Morning America studio in New York City and allegedly threatened presenter Michael Strahan.
Johnson was indicted for felony attempted assault at Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday (28Jul14) but the proceedings were halted when Johnson launched into a tirade against his legal team.
He yelled, "I want a new lawyer! This lady's against me! She's part of the Illuminati!... There's a war against me, ma'am. Obama was elected to defend us. This is some bulls**t, man!"
According to the New York Daily News, the judge ordered a mental evaluation and Johnson is scheduled to return to court on 15 September (14).
Rapper/actor Ice-T's grandson has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing his roommate in Georgia. Elyjah Marrow, 19, was playing around with a handgun in his apartment on Tuesday (24Jun14) when it accidentally went off, fatally wounding pal Daryus Johnson.
Marrow has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and reckless conduct. He was also hit with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm.
He is currently in custody, according to TMZ.com.
