R&B singer Keyshia Cole spent Friday morning (19Sep14) behind bars following an arrest at her rumoured boyfriend Bryan 'Birdman' Williams' home in Los Angeles. The star allegedly assaulted a woman at the rap mogul's penthouse apartment just after 5am local time after she arrived unannounced.
Sources tell TMZ.com Cole was arrested for battery and an outstanding reckless driving warrant.
She was released on Friday afternoon after posting $46,000 (£28,750) bail.
Cole split from her basketball player husband Daniel Gibson earlier this year (14) after less than three years of marriage.
British singer Sam Smith is in talks to record the theme tune for the next James Bond movie, according to a U.K. report. The Stay With Me singer would follow in the footsteps of superstars including Adele, Madonna and Dame Shirley Bassey if he is picked to sing the anthem for the next film in the 007 franchise.
Bond star Daniel Craig is reportedly keen for Adele to follow up on her 2012 Oscar-winning theme tune for Skyfall, but producers are said to want to sign up Smith instead.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Sam is our top choice. He has the profile, cool image and astonishing voice to record a Bond theme.
"And there is only so long we can hold out for Adele. Daniel Craig was pushing for her because she did such a great job last time around."
The coveted job would be a major boost for 22-year-old Smith's already blossoming career and it would mark the first time a British male singer has recorded the Bond theme tune in three decades. Rocker Simon Le Bon was the last British male to sing a Bond theme when he recorded A View to a Kill with Duran Duran in 1985.
Singer Darius Rucker and his Hootie & The Blowfish bandmates have become the latest musicians to enter the booze business with their own brand of beer. The rockers have teamed up with tastemakers at Palmetto Brewing Co. in their native South Carolina and officials at Florida-based firms Cigar City Brewing and Rock Brothers Brewing to create Hootie's Homegrown Ale, which is made with Carolina gold rice and lemongrass.
The new drink will be served up at the group's 12th Annual Hootie Homegrown weekend bash in Daniel Island, South Carolina on 8 and 9 August (14), and will go on sale in the U.S. soon afterwards.
Fans will also be helping a good cause by picking up a six-pack of the new ale - a portion of proceeds from the brewing venture will benefit the band's Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation, which aims to improve public education issues in their home state.
They aren't the only rockers to enter the beer business - Iron Maiden, Status Quo's Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi, Motorhead and Mastodon all boast their own brand of booze.
Keyshia Cole's estranged husband has distanced himself from a divorce filing in his name, insisting he has not moved to make the split official. The singer confirmed her split from basketball player Daniel Gibson in March (14) after less than three years of marriage, and it appeared the sports player had started divorce proceedings when papers were filed at a court in Los Angeles last week (ends20Jul14).
However, Gibson is adamant the documents filed in his name at Los Angeles County Superior Court were lodged by an impostor.
He tells TMZ.com, "She (Cole) would have to do it (file the divorce papers). I am a Christian. I believe in 'til death do us part."
Editors of the website report the paperwork lists Gibson as his own attorney, and gives a home address which is actually a branch of U.S. fast food chain El Pollo Loco.
Australian singer/actress Natalie Imbruglia is considering signing up for Internet dating as she is struggling to find a man.
The Torn hitmaker split from Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns in 2008 after five years of marriage, and has since been linked to stars including Friends actor David Schwimmer and Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill.

A man accused of trespassing on Taylor Swift's beachfront property in Rhode Island on three separate occasions has been sentenced to 18 months of probation. Daniel P. Cole was initially taken into custody and charged in December (13) after he parked his pick-up truck outside the singer's Watch Hill home and refused to move.
Police were called to the scene to investigate and the Massachusetts resident allegedly became involved in an altercation with officers, just 12 days after Swift's security guards had to escort Cole off the star's estate.
The second incident landed the 39 year old a no trespassing order, but cops found him back on the property in March (14), when he was also slapped with a no contact ruling, demanding he keep his distance from the singer and her home, according to local paper The Westerly Sun.
He pleaded not guilty to misdemeanour charges of wilful trespassing and disorderly conduct, but was convicted on Thursday (17Jul14) after a three-day trial in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Judge Frank Cenerini ordered Cole serve probation and undergo anger management screening and counselling. He also renewed the no trespassing and no contact orders.
Cole hasn't been the only unwelcome visitor at Swift's Rhode Island luxury house - three people recently pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct charges after allegedly hurling beer bottles at the mansion in June (14).
The singer was not home at the time of either incident.
Michael Jackson's friends, family and fans joined together on Wednesday (25Jun14) to mark five years since the King of Pop's death. (sic)."
Rapper/actor Ludacris adds, "R.I.P. The King Of POP M.J."
Jackson's pop star nephews, Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson, of 3T, were stranded in Europe on the day of the anniversary due to a strike by French air traffic controllers, but they managed to add tributes to their late uncle before boarding a plane back to California to be with their family. Taryll writes, "To my idol, teacher, uncle and best friend... 'I love you more'. #alwaysinmyheart #love #foreverMJJ #bestofalltime (sic)," while his brother TJ, adds, "Not a day goes by where I don't think about him. And today even more so... His smile, his laughter, his walk, everything. Love you, Doo Doo."
The co-executors of Jackson's estate, John Branca and John McClain, also released a statement to mark the fifth anniversary of the singer's passing. The message, posted on Jackson's official website, reads, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael's loved ones today as we remember the kind, gentle and giving spirit who generously shared his amazing artistic gifts with the world along with a limitless empathy for those in need. Time has shown that with each passing year the world's appreciation deepens not just for Michael's talent but also for his lifelong passion to spread peace, unity, love and hope across every culture and society. Michael's friendship, kindness, humour and joyful warmth will always be missed. The world is a far better place for having known him."

Angelina Jolie and Daniel Day-Lewis have been recognised by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II in her Birthday Honours List. The actress has been named an honorary dame, while fellow Oscar winner Day-Lewis will be knighted.
Jolie learned of the honour in London this week (beg09Jun14), while she was co-hosting an international summit on sexual violence.
She won't be entitled to use her new royal title because she is not a British or Commonwealth citizen, but she joins fellow Americans Steven Spielberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and former President Ronald Reagan, who have previously received honorary titles from the Queen.
Among the soldiers, charity heroes, civil servants and entrepreneurs to receive honours, Day-Lewis will be able to add 'Sir' to his name after becoming a knight for "services to drama".
The Lincoln star admits he was, "entirely amazed and utterly delighted in equal measure" to discover he had made the list.
There were also damehoods for Booker Prize-winning novelist Hilary Mantel and fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, while beloved actress Dame Maggie Smith, who portrays the Dowager Countess of Grantham on TV's Downton Abbey, was made a Companion of Honor, and becomes one of only 65 people "of distinction" in the U.K., and Homeland star Damian Lewis has been named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
He says, "I decided to do the very un-British thing of accepting the compliment."
Author Hunter Davies, actress Phyllida Law and musician Talvin Singh also received OBEs, while physicist Thomas Kibble and pianist Andra Schiff have been honoured with knighthoods.
Also making the annual honours list is singer and DJ Cerys Matthews and actor John Barrowman, who have both been awarded Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medals (CBEs).
Country star Taylor Swift and actress Rachel Mcadams are teaming up with officials from the American Library Association to promote the importance of reading. The pair will share its love of reading in new advertisements for the READ campaign, which will feature the actress and the singer posing with one of their favourite books.
Swift's commercial, which debuted on People.com on Friday (06Jun14), features her holding a copy of Lois Lowry's young adult novel The Giver - an appropriate choice since she stars in the forthcoming film adaptation, alongside Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges and Katie Holmes.
Swift and McAdams are the latest in a long line of celebrities to join the READ campaign - other participants include Daniel Radcliffe, Henry Cavill, Orlando Bloom, Eva Mendes, Hugh Jackman and Oprah Winfrey.
The ALA cause is a good fit for the Love Story hitmaker - she helped to support her hometown library in the aptly named Reading, Pennsylvania by donating books.
