Actress Angie Harmon has obtained a permanent protective order against an overzealous fan who has been accused of harassing her family. Earlier this month (Jul14), Janice Lee Davis was ordered to stay away from the former Law & Order star and her kids amid allegations she had repeatedly trespassed on Harmon's Los Angeles property.
The actress claimed Davis would show up at her front gate every Thursday, pretend to be her landlady and demand rent from her. She managed to gain entry to the home on one recent occasion, but had left by the time police arrived on the scene.
Harmon appeared before a judge in a Santa Monica, California court on Tuesday (22Jul14) without a lawyer, and outlined her case to make the temporary ban permanent.
The judge approved her request, which protects the actress, her three children, a nanny and a family friend who is staying at the house. Her husband, former American footballer Jason Sehorn, was not included in the order as he reportedly spends the majority of his time at the family's home on America's East Coast, according to TMZ.com
Former Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 and Van Halen's David Lee Roth have teamed up to record a new album. The heavy rocker, real name John William Lowery, landed his big break when Lee Roth hired him for his 1998 album DLR Band and now the two old friends have reunited in the studio to work on a new California Sessions project.
John 5 tells Canadian blogger Mitch Lafon, "It's 11 of the greatest songs you'll ever hear, and it's just me and Dave, and we had Gregg Bissonette play drums on it. And it's unbelievable.
"There's a song called Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bar & Grill and just great, great songs. And hopefully sometime it'll see the light of day. But he's (Lee Roth) busy with Van Halen, all that stuff. But it's an incredible record.
"I would just go over to his house during the day and write this music and then he would book the studio at night. So we would go into A&M Studios... and we'd record. It sounds like just Dave from that Van Halen I or II or Women And Children First era."
And Lee Roth isn't the only rock god John 5 has been working with - he has collaborated with Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford on the 2WO project. The guitarist is also currently working with Rob Zombie.

Richard Pryor's son has threatened legal action in a bid to block production on Lee Daniels' new movie about the famous funnyman.
Lawyers representing Richard Pryor, Jr. have sent a cease and desist letter to the star's widow Jennifer Lee Pryor, who is contributing to the film biopic, urging her to stop work on the project amid a dispute over name rights.
In the letter, obtained by TMZ.com, the star's son accuses his stepmother of using "illegal, fraudulent" activity to obtain the rights to her husband's name.
He is also reportedly threatening to take legal action if the biopic moves forward. Rapper/actor Nick Cannon has been linked to the lead role in the movie.
Pryor died in 2005 aged 65 after suffering a heart attack. He spent years battling multiple sclerosis prior to his death.
This Post Contains Spoilers for the Upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy!
With all of the attention surrounding the Avengers franchise in the last few days, Marvel wanted to make sure the world didn’t forget that they have another team of superheroes hitting screens in just a couple of weeks. And the way they chose to go about that was by revealing a cast list that let some of the most exciting, buzzed about and truly bizarre cameos in Guardians of the Galaxy slip to the entire Internet. According to Stitch Kingdom, cult favorite Nathan Fillion will be appearing as “Monstrous Inmate,” – which is a bit of a letdown, considering the amount of press his cameos has generated over the past few months – Stan Lee will play “Xandarian Ladies Man,” and Howard the Duck will be making an appearance as himself.
Yes, you read that last sentence correctly: Howard the Duck will be in Guardians of the Galaxy. It hasn’t be revealed why, when, or how he will make a cameo, but he will be there, and Stitch Kingdom has the casting scroll to prove it. But as absurd as it seems to have Howard the Duck, who despite his divisive feature film is a Marvel fan favorite, appear in Guardians of the Galaxy, it doesn’t even come close to topping the list of the most bizarre character crossovers and cameos. Seriously, there are things out there that are stranger and more confusing than the prospect of Howard hanging out with Rocket and Groot. Don’t believe us? Take a look for yourself:
Charles Barkley and Godzilla The union of the five-time NBA All-Star and two-time Hall of Famer and the giant mutant lizard that has been known to both spit fire and shoot lasers from his eyes was originally conceived as a Nike ad, and later expanded into a comic book. Because nothing says “cool sneakers” like a basketball-playing kaiju that can’t actually fit his giant feet into shoes. Also, who was buying that comic book?
Spider-Man and Ren and Stimpy There was once a time when you hadn’t properly made it until your cartoon got its own comic book. Unfortunately, some shows just aren’t meant to be read, and Ren & Stimpy is one of them, so when the comic book (unsurprisingly) failed to sell, they brought in the big guns: Spider Man. In true Ren & Stimpy fashion, Spidey took on Powdered Toast Man, that beloved vigilante superhero/breakfast food spokesman. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it was like to read a 12-year-old's fever dream, this is the comic for you.
Superman and the Quik Bunny Spider-Man isn’t the only superhero to succumb to some very obvious product placement. Superman one teamed up with the Quik Bunny, purveyor of powder that makes your milk brown, in order to fight the Weather Man, a lame villain with fourth-tier powers and a costume that made him look like he was starring in a community theater production of Robin Hood. At least Spider-Man had the dignity of fighting with a fictional breakfast-hero.
Inspector Gadget and Mario and Luigi Remember the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!? No? Well, that’s probably for the best, but it does mean that you missed seeing Inspector Gadget, the world’s more over-equipped and incompetent detective, get his various malfunctioning parts fixed by Mario and Luigi, who are supposed to be plumbers. You probably wouldn’t be surprised to find out that it goes horribly wrong, to no-doubt hilarious consequences. Clearly, the moral of this episode was to play to your strengths, and maybe not to call a plumber to fix a wire problem.
Archie and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles On some level, this one probably makes some sense. After all, Archie and his friends are teenagers, and so are the Ninja Turtles. Both groups like pizza and video games and, from the looks of the cover, dance parties. But what’s really strange about this crossover is that it happened as the result of the Turtles being spit out by a giant cow head, which apparently allowed them to hop through various dimensions. Mutant ninja turtles or no, there had to be an easier way to get these guys to Riverdale.
Arthur and Mr. Rogers In what is perhaps the most well-meaning, mild-mannered crossover of all time, Mr. Rogers appeared on an episode of Arthur that centered around Arthur being embarrassed that the friendliest man on television was going to be staying at his house. Of course, this conflict is solved with a charming heart-to-heart that taught children that real friends don’t make fun of their friends for what they like. Unless that thing is Transformers. Not even Mr. Rogers can endorse Michael Bay.
Marvel Superheroes and Guiding Light You know who’s really into comic books and superheroes? The kind of people who religiously watch daytime soap operas – we’re assuming that was the pitch that got Guiding Light to team up with Marvel on a crossover episode that saw soccer mom Harley Davidson Cooper gain superpowers after being struck by lightning on Halloween night and transform into Guiding Light. (Seriously.) The saddest part of this is that Marvel clearly didn’t learn anything from their failed experiment at reaching a new audience, since they had the Thor announcement revealed on The View.
Batman and Robin and Scooby Doo When it comes to crime-fighting teams, there are two that stand above everyone else: Batman and Robin and the Mystery Gang. So teaming them up on The New Scooby Doo Movies to uncover a hooded counterfeiter who’s been sending the Penguin and the Joker fake money makes perfect sense, right? Sure, if you live in a world where Mrs. Baker is on the same level of super villainy as two of the most iconic comic book villains of all time. Fun fact: this episode was so poorly received that Batman later made fun of it in an episode of his own.
Cartoon All-Stars to the RescueThe plot of this movie sees cartoon favorites like Winnie the Pooh, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Muppet Babies, the Looney Toons, and the Smurfs come to life in order to convince Michael to stop smoking pot, drinking, and stealing from his sister’s piggy bank for drug money. Because if anything is going to convince someone to stop doing drugs, it’s a bunch of cartoon characters who suddenly come to life and sing songs about life choices. Clearly, all D.A.R.E. really needed to be effective was Daffy Duck.
True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll has been cast as Daredevil's love interest in a new TV series based on the comic book superhero's adventures. Woll will portray Karen Page in the upcoming Marvel series, which will also feature Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio.
Page was previously played by Ellen Pompeo on the big screen in 2003, opposite Ben Affleck's Daredevil.
The character was created by Stan Lee and made her debut in comic book form in 1964.
The new TV series will debut on Netflix next year (15).
Ironically, just like her new TV boyfriend Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Woll's real-life beau is battling blindness - E.J. Scott was diagnosed with choroideremia - a rare genetic disease that causes blindness - just after the couple fell in love.
Actress Pamela Anderson has been photographed kissing her estranged husband Rick Salomon, two weeks after filing for divorce. The former Baywatch beauty moved to end her six-month marriage to film producer and professional poker player Salomon on 3 July (14), and she subsequently sparked rumours she had moved on by embracing her ex-boyfriend Chuck Zito following a dinner date in West Hollywood last Friday (11Jul14).
However, it appears Anderson has since had a change of heart about dumping Salomon after appearing to seal their reconciliation with a passionate kiss while out in Malibu, California on Wednesday (16Jul14).
Anderson and Salomon initially wed in 2007, but the union was annulled two months later.
The actress was also previously married to rockers Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, with whom she has two sons.
Actress Angie Harmon has been granted a protective order against a trespasser who is allegedly harassing her family. The former Law & Order star claims Janice Lee Davis regularly comes to her Los Angeles home, pretending to be her landlord and demands rent.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Harmon claims Davis arrives at the gate to her house every Thursday and orders the actress to pay overdue rent.
Davis allegedly gained entry earlier this month (Jul14), but by the time Harmon called police the unwelcome guest had already left the scene.
The order protects herself, her three children, their nanny, and a friend who lives in the house. Her husband, former American footballer Jason Sehorn, was not listed in the order.
Jay Z, Spike Lee and Billy Crystal are among the sports fans honouring New York Yankees star Derek Jeter in a new TV tribute ad. The RE2PECT commercial features fans and celebrities alike saluting the baseball great with his own iconic cap tilt. Jeter will retire as a professional baseball player at the end of the current MLB season.
Pamela Anderson has reportedly reunited with her former boyfriend Chuck Zito just days after filing for divorce from husband Rick Salomon. The ex-Baywatch babe moved to end her six-month union to film producer and poker professional Salomon earlier this month (Jul14), seven years after their first marriage, which lasted two months, ended in an annulment.
Now it appears Anderson has revived her one-time relationship with Sons of Anarchy actor Zito, who she was photographed embracing in a car following a dinner date together at The Rainbow Room in West Hollywood, California on Friday (11Jul14).
The pair was previously romantically linked in 2007, when Zito was hired as Anderson's bodyguard.
Anderson's split from Salomon will mark her third divorce - she has also been married to rockers Tommy Lee and Kid Rock.
Former Lostprophets star Stuart Richardson smashed a platinum record to pieces in anger at frontman Ian Watkins' sickening child sex offences. Watkins was convicted of a number of shocking abuse charges, including the attempted rape of a baby, last year (13). He was sentenced to 35 years behind bars and the band, which formed in Wales in 1997, split shortly after.
Now members Richardson and Lee Gaze have spoken out about their shock and disgust for their disgraced ex-bandmate and the music they made with him.
Speaking to Britain's The Guardian, bassist Richardson explained how he believes their music has been tarnished by Watkins' actions, and he recently vented his fury by smashing an award he received for sales of their hit third album Liberation Transmission.
He says, "I don't know how his badness can't cancel out our music. We had platinum records in our houses, awards. I smashed Liberation Transmission the other day. The rest are in the garage and they'll probably never come out again."
Glaze adds that he will never be able to listen to their material from that time again: "I can't. It's tainted, because he was the voice of the band, and it was his lyrics."
They also reveal how they confronted Watkins in 2012 when his drug taking got out of hand. Glaze adds, "We had an intervention with him to get him off coke, and he denied he was doing it, and then a year later he was addicted to crystal meth. The gigs in 2012 were awful - on tour, he was barely functioning; he'd miss cues for songs and wasn't interacting with (the) audience. He really didn't spend much time with us. I'm quite a loner, anyway, and we weren't close... We were operating on a fractured basis, where we would only get together to do our job."
The pair has since formed a new band, Lost Devotion, with other ex-Lostprophets rockers Mike Lewis, Jamie Oliver and Luke Johnson. Former Thursday star Geoff Rickly is acting as frontman.
