Glee star Chris Colfer has scored another best-selling book with his latest release, The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning.
The 24-year-old actor's third installment of his popular children's fantasy novels was released earlier this month (Jul14), and it boosted his series to the number four slot on the New York Times Best Sellers list for Children's Series.
The Land of Stories comes in behind Divergent at the top spot, with The Maze Runner and The Mortal Instruments at two and three, respectively.
His achievement makes his book series the highest on the list without an accompanying film franchise.
Pop star Justin Bieber has been photographed apparently drinking beer in a nightclub in breach of strict age-limit laws.
The Baby hitmaker, 20, headed to the popular Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood, California this week (ends20Jul14) with controversial singer Chris Brown and was snapped topless and clutching a bottle of lager as he chatted to a female reveller.
The legal age for drinking alcohol in the U.S. is 21, and editors at TMZ.com report officials at the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control are investigating whether the venue's owners have breached conditions of their licence. The nightclub is co-owned by actor David Arquette.
The incident is the latest scandal for Bieber - he is currently at the centre of a driving under the influence (DUI) case following his arrest in Miami, Florida in January (14), and he is also facing prosecution in his native Canada over claims he lashed out at a limousine driver in December (13).

Coming in at a svelte 1:40, the new Horrible Bossess 2 teaser does what teasers are made to do, but so few actually manage to. It teases.
It doesn't spoil your appetite; it piques your interest. Most importantly, it leaves you wanting. Too often, film marketing pummels audiences with trailers chock-full of all the good stuff: Plot points, jokes, action scenes, and surprises that deserve their grand unveiling on the big screen and in the actual film, not squeezed onto a computer monitor at a shameful bitrate or pounded into the head of theater goers so that when the jokes finally do pop up in the actual movie, they hit like a wet noodle. Just look at how much the trailer for A Million Ways to Die in the West tells you about the film. Another trailer even lets loose the film's best cameo.
Warner Bros. Pictures
This, on the other hand, is the perfect teaser. It tells you everything one should need to know about the film: The guys (Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, and Charlie Day) are back, there will be a kidnapping at some point, someone that looks like Chris Pine is stuffed into a car trunk, Kevin Spacey is in jail, Jennifer Aniston would very much like to become a bed pan, Motherf**ker Jones still hasn't found a decent barber, and shenanigans will most definitely ensue. Why is all of this madness happening? Who cares right now! Let's find out while we're actually watching the movie.
We all know the big marketing push is on the horizon, and with it comes trailers stuffed with too much plot, too many jokes, and the big cameo appearance spoiled months ahead of release. It's inevitable. The sun rises and trailers spoil movies. But lets enjoy being in the dark while it lasts.
The rapper who chopped off his penis before attempting to take his life earlier this year (14) is looking for a career as a porn star - and Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch is interested in hiring him.
Andre Johnson, aka Northstar rapper Christ Bearer, cut off his manhood before jumping from the second floor balcony of a North Hollywood apartment in April (14). He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where his penis was successfully re-attached.
Now in a much better mindspace, Johnson wants to make a career with his 'johnson'. Asked if his manhood is still fully functioning, he tells TMZ.com, "Does it work? Can Chris Brown dance? Can Kanye West rant?"
News of his plans have reached Hirsch, who wants to meet with the rapper, stating he is "definitely interested" in casting Johnson, pending an inspection of his genitals.
Meanwhile, opening up about the bizarre attempt to take his life, Johnson admits he was high on recreational drug phencyclidine (PCP) when he chopped off his penis and jumped.
Proving that there’s nothing Hollywood won’t reboot if given then chance, a new Scooby Doo movie is reportedly in the works at Warner Bros. According to Variety, the studio is looking to send Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang on another spooky adventure, which will be written by Randall Green. The news comes just a year after Warner Bros. also announced plans for an animated Scooby Doo movie, which is reportedly still on track. Though the last live-action Mystery Gang outings, 2002’s Scooby Doo and its sequel Monsters Unleashed, did well commercially, they weren’t received well by critics and fans of the series, which is why it’s surprising that Warner Bros. would be so intent at taking a third shot at big-screen adventure. After all, the live-action Scooby Doo’s were only slightly better than Yogi Bear. There are plenty of other great classic Hanna-Barbera properties that would make for great films, so why does Scooby get a third shot at big screen success? Think about all of the possibilities that are open…

British singer Patrick Wolf has been tapped to score an upcoming Noel Coward biopic. Glee star Chris Colfer is set to play the gay playwright in Noel, a film which will focus on Coward's early years and feature the people who influenced his career, and Wolf will create the music for the movie, according to Variety.com.
He says, "I am so thrilled for my first film soundtrack composition to be about Noel Coward’s early life. We both grew up in the same parts of South West London, and began our journeys onto the stage and into writing at the same precocious age.
"The script, director, Noel Coward Estate and the cast attached combined are already in perfect synergy to make this something magical."
Production on the project is slated to begin in late summer (14).
Singer Chris Brown has finally off-loaded his troubled Hollywood Hills home for $1.79 million (£1.12 million), seven months after listing it for sale. The Kiss Kiss hitmaker clashed with neighbours in the exclusive Los Angeles neighbourhood last year (13) after covering the exterior wall of his $1.5 million (£937,500) home with graffiti.
The street art, which depicted colourful monsters, sparked numerous complaints from locals, prompting officials to fine him and order the star to remove the bright spray paint.
He obliged in July (13) and decided to move out of the area in November (13).
There's more good property news for Brown - he has also managed to sell off a penthouse condominium in West Hollywood that he had purchased for $1.6 million (£1 million) in 2011. That pad had been sitting on the market for the past two years, according to TMZ.com.
The sales will help Brown get a fresh start following his release from prison earlier this month (Jun14). He served more than two months behind bars after violating a court order relating to his probation for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
