Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter has sparked a feud with Kim Kardashian's half-sister after taking offence to a tweet the young model posted and later deleted on Tuesday (21May13). Frances Bean Cobain took aim at Kendall Jenner after reading a post, in which she stated, "Just wish things could be easier sometimes."
Eagle-eyed followers were stunned when the rock offspring responded, "Oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned & homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn't accessible... Oh ya, not to mention, cancer, famine, poverty, draught (sic), disease, natural disasters, death."
She later added, "Humans are so self involved... I'd like to thank my parents for providing me with a high IQ & I'd like to thank my grams (grandmother) for encouraging me not to be a self absorbed idiot."
Cobain later toned down her remarks and deleted some of her tweets, but not before Jenner had seen them.
She fired back at 20-year-old Cobain on Thursday night (23May13), tweeting, "An individual's feelings are relative to their environment. You don't know me, you don't even know what I was referring to.
"I am aware that I am very privileged and blessed, and I'm thankful for that everyday. I know there are greater problems... in the world. I pray for those people every night and give back as much as I can. So who are you to judge me?"
Jenner later edited her response.
"A lot of girls like Sofia Richie or Kylie or Kendall (Jenner) or Ariana Grande, it's cool to hang out with them, but it is kinda like two magnifying glasses on us because it's two times the paparazzi." Teenage movie star Jaden Smith on the downside of living in the spotlight. He has been romantically linked to both Kim Kardashian's half-sisters.
Big Time Rush singer Kendall Schmidt has filed a complaint with airline bosses after $7,000 (£4,516)-worth of jewellery went missing from his luggage during a recent flight to Austria. The pop star had planned to hand out the custom-made items to fans at last Monday's (13May13) gig with his new band, Heffron Drive, in Vienna, Austria, but the bag failed to appear when he touched down in Europe from Orlando, Florida.
Schmidt was forced to go on an impromptu shopping trip to find clothes to wear for the concert and shared his lost luggage drama with fans attending the show that night.
He told the crowd, "On my way here they (airline staff) lost my suitcase. So I had a whole bunch of stuff in my suitcase I was gonna throw out, bracelets and stuff like that, all that kind of stuff."
Schmidt was eventually reunited with his bag on the group's next tour stop in Berlin, Germany - but the jewellery had gone missing from his suitcase, prompting the star to report the loss to airline executives in the hopes of landing a cash reimbursement, according to TMZ.com.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has become "more of a recluse" during her pregnancy because she is preparing to protect the privacy of her baby. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West are expecting their first child in July (13), but the mother-to-be is keeping a low profile during the final months leading up to the birth, for the sake of her first-born.
She tells Britain's Fabulous magazine, "I'm definitely more of a recluse since I was pregnant. But I haven't necessarily decided to hold myself back, it's just preparing myself for respecting the privacy of my child and my boyfriend. We live different lives, but I love being open. That's who I've always been and sharing so much of myself - I love that. That'll never change because that is who I am. It's more about gearing up to protect other people."
Kardashian admits she feels anxious about exposing her baby to the spotlight, but is reassured by the attitude of her teenage half-sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who first appeared on the family's reality show as children.
She adds, "It does worry me when I think about it, but, at the same time, my little sisters have grown up so amazingly, with really good heads on their shoulders."
The paparazzi make plenty of money off of celebrities. So why shouldn't they make money off of the paparazzi?
That's certainly the attitude adopted by these 10 celebrities, who have blatantly placed merchandise in front of flashing cameras in order to cash in. Olivia Munn, Kristin Chenoweth, and (of course) the Kardashians have all realized the value of their value.

The Kardashians' half-sister Kendall Jenner reveals that she'd 'love to' to model lingerie for Victoria's Secret and that it's "always been kind of a dream of mine" in a new interview. The budding 17-year-old model and reality star, who already posed in a revealing bikini shoot when she was just 16, tells E! News that she'd love to go after her dream of becoming the next Miranda Kerr or Gisele Bundchen.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has already graced the pages of Seventeen magazine, Teen Vogue, and has done a campaign for Forever 21 and walked the runway at New York Fashion Week. But listen up, people, she's not looking to be just like her sister Kim Kardashian. In fact, she says that she and her younger sister Kylie are "full-throttle Jenners" and have no desire to be Kardashians.
In the May 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Jenner explains that the TV show has been both a blessing and a curse — and that all of that paparazzi mugging just isn't her. "The show brought us everything we have, and I realize that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes," she said. "That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you." And while the rest of her family stays focused on the reality spotlight, she's "one hundred percent" focused on modeling.
But if her dream of becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel comes true, do you really think that her momager Kris Jenner will let that experience go totally undocumented? Tell us, readers: Would the high-schooler wear the wings well or should she stick to reality TV? And is Kendall basically the only sort-of-Kardashian you can tolerate anymore?

Bored? Marginally good looking? Related to someone who's been on television? Have we got a career path for you: modeling! Yes, Ireland Baldwin — 17-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger — is the latest in a long line of aesthetically gifted youngsters to cash in their superior bone structures and nepotism cards for an entry into the world of modeling.
On Mar. 5, Baldwin tweeted, "Officially working for @twomanagement and @imgmodels ! I'm blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK," publicizing her excitement over her new contract with the modeling agencies, and her excitement over entering the weeeeerkforce.

It's natural for the kinfolk of Hollywood elites to opt for a job in front of the camera... and one that doesn't involve the learning of liness. Or stage direction. Or (much) conscious thought. We've seen quite a few other celebrity blood relatives take to the field lately.
There's Miley Cyrus' sister Brandi Cyrus, who — despite being lovely in her everyday life — went a bit Corpse Bridey for her new gig with Rad + Refined:
There's Emma Watson's brother Alex Watson, who has banked on not only being the brother of Emma Watson, but also on looking exactly like Emma Watson for a modeling career...
There are the Jenners: Kendall and Kylie — the younger and less famous, but big dreaming half sisters of the Kardashian trio, who uphold that familial vacant stare with aplomb in this Sherri Hill ad:

There's Patrick Schwarzenegger, who probably actually just fell down outside without a shirt on when somebody nearby happened to have a camera handy...
There are the perpetually multiplying sisters of Bruno Mars — a clan who have come from an unknown planet to overtake the human population, maintaining excellent standards of grooming all the while...
And finally, there's Margaret Qualley, daughter of Andie MacDowell, who herself is really just skirting the line of what you might call famous. But we like Groundhog Day, so we'll give it to her.
So how 'bout you? Decent looking and distantly related to Elisabeth Shue? Get in the game!

Kris Jenner is getting a talk show. Kris Jenner's talk show is called Kris. Kris Jenner's talk show will test on Fox-owned markets this summer, including New York and Los Angeles. It will be one hour long, and will focus on beauty and lifestyle and celebrities and basically everything that Wendy Williams and Bethenny already talk about, just with more Kardashians.
There. The "who what when where why" is out of the way. In journalism school, I believe they call that a nut graph. But here are the real nuts and bolts of this story: it isn't a story. It just is. Everyone is used to the fact that the Kardashians have won and they're not going away, so it was a logical next step for "Momager" (shudder) Kris to appear on-screen five days a week in a talk show setting. Some people love the Kardashians and line up around the Dash stores they don't actually work in like they're Space Mountain, just to look at things that were maybe perhaps once looked upon by Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kris, Kendall and Kylie. (Aside: This is just extra proof that the Kardasians have permeated all reality and are part of our cultural consciousness and will never ever leave: I've never seen any of their shows and know all of the children's names.)
Some people choose to actively hate the Kardashians, and think they've partnered with Honey Boo Boo in some evil plot to destroy common decency. Either way, everyone is still talking about the Kardashians. It's like 1984 and Brave New World combined — Kris Jenner has always had a talk show like we've always been at war with Eurasia. The pop culture lexicon dictates what we talk about, and for years, we've been talking about the Kardashians — because if we don't, we're going to be left behind. But on the other end, Kris Jenner NEEDS to have a talk show because everyone needs to talk about the Kardashians — they're our entertainment, they keep us happy, and, after all, everyone belongs to everyone else. It's a top-down and bottom-up cultural anomaly, all at once.
This may sound nihilistic, but it's not — it's just gotten to the point where, as an entertainment reporter, you know you have to write about the Kardashians now and then if you want your Google page views. This will typically lead to nasty bickering in the comments' section, where pro and anti-Kardashianites will rally to support their cause. But arguing about the Kardashians has become as pointless as arguing about politics with your Grandmother who loves to listen to Rush Limbaugh — everyone has chosen their side of the fence, and no amount of logic, reason, or heartfelt emotion will change that. Again, it just is.
So maybe we should start changing the ways that we talk about the Kardashians. Instead of "I love them/I hate them" etc. etc., let's think about what the Kardashians can do for us. They're not going away — why not make them useful? And with a new daily platform, Jenner could find ways to make herself useful. Mainly, using her unique position as a mom-slash-manager-slash-entrepreneur-slash-celeb-slash-deity, she could make one very specific important thing happen for me: She could interview Dina Lohan. I could watch that. I could watch that all day.

Initial reports suggested police raided the compound and reportedly forced Kris Jenner, her husband Bruce and their daughters Kendall and Kylie out of the house as they searched the place for an intruder.
It has now emerged that the family was not at home when police arrived.
The drama came after the authorities received a call from someone who claimed they were locked in a closet inside the house, where a shooting had occurred.
Cops found nothing and insiders suggested the call was the latest in a 'swatting' trend currently sweeping through Hollywood.
Jenner's daughter Kim Kardashian has since taken to Twitter.com to blast the hoaxer, writing, "These prank calls are NOT funny. People can get arrested for this! I hope they find out (who) is behind this. It’s dangerous & not a joke!"
Other celebrities targeted by swatters include Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher.
Police took over Bruce and Kris Jenner's Hidden Hills home near Los Angeles after receiving a 911 call claiming someone had been shot inside the house, according to TMZ.com.
The caller told authorities he or she was locked in a closet in the house.
Sources tell the website officers locked down the neighbourhood as they searched the Jenner estate. Bruce, Kris and their daughters Kylie and Kendall were asked to wait outside their home as police verified the family wasn't in any danger.
Police insiders tell TMZ.com it was all a hoax and the Kardashian clan fell victim to the 'swatting' craze.
Earlier this week (beg14Jan13), police were called to Tom Cruise's Beverly Hills home to check out a false alarm.
Other recent victims have included Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber.
