Lindsay Lohan's father is facing a police investigation over allegations he threatened a record label boss. Dan Herman, CEO of Chinga Chang Records, has filed a report with police in his native Pennsylvania accusing Michael Lohan, 54, of threatening him over a deal he was attempting to set up with Lohan's model-turned-singer daughter Ali.
Cops have launched an investigation, according to TMZ.com.
Lindsay Lohan's model sister Ali is said to be on the verge of launching herself as a country singer and has been meeting with a number of record label executives in recent weeks in a bid to land a deal.
Lindsay Lohan's younger sister Ali is preparing to launch herself as a country music singer.
Ali Lohan has been attempting to establish herself as a fashion model in recent years, but she is planning a career change and has already held meetings with a number of record labels in Nashville, Tennessee, according to TMZ.com.
Editors of the website report Ali has already been offered a $120,000 (£70,588) contract with one record label, but she is said to be keeping her options open.
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has been ordered to hand over additional child support payments to the actress' mother Dina. Michael Lohan and his ex-wife share four children - the Mean Girls actress and her three younger siblings Michael, Ali and Dakota - and Dina claims Lindsay's father has not been paying enough maintenance for their children.
She alleges Michael owes $20,000 (£12,500) in back payments, and legal documents obtained by TMZ.com show he has been ordered to pay her $3,800 (£2,375). Michael argues that he has overpaid her already.
According to the website's editors, Michael has until July (14) to pay the bill or a warrant will be issued for his arrest.
This is not the first time the former couple has fought over money - last year (13), Michael had to hand over $30,000 (£18,750) after he failed to provide Dina with the agreed maintenance payments.
MTVDespite her obvious lack of vocal prowess and complete absence of charisma, Paris Hilton's first stab at becoming a pop star wasn't the total car crash everyone expected. Indeed, in the hands of somebody less obnoxious, the breezy reggae of "Stars Are Blind" and pulsing electro-pop of "Nothing In This World" would probably have been much bigger hits. However, her recently unveiled comeback single, "Good Time," a Lil Wayne-assisted slice of trash-pop even more vacuous than her reality TV persona, suggests that her 2006 effort may have been a fluke. But despite its sheer awfulness, it's not the worst track to emerge from an E! channel regular. Here's a look at five other pop disasters released by 'stars' who should have stuck to being famous for doing nothing.Kim Kardashian – "Jam (Turn It Up)"The most high-profile Kardashian shares next to nothing in common musically with Kanye West judging by this braindead attempt to jump aboard the EDM-pop bandwagon in 2011. Following its dismal reception, she hasn't stepped foot inside the studio again.Heidi Montag – "Higher"It's not clear what's worse here. The Hills' star’s wafer thin tones, the cheesy synth-pop production which sounds like it's escaped from an '80s exercise VHS or the tragically low-budget beach-themed video directed by her super-creepy other half Spencer Pratt.Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino – "The Situation"Drenching his vocals in so much AutoTune that he makes T-Pain sound organic, the virtually unrecognisable Jersey Shore regular added rapper to his list of non-talents with this terribly misguided venture into hip-hop.Tila Tequila – "Stripper Friends"Showcasing the same sense of elegance and class that made A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila such a tasteful watch, the 'jack of all trades but master of none' once again bypassed any notion of subtlety with this typically tacky cover of Aimee Allen's stripper anthem.Ali Lohan – "All The Way Around"Despite the overwhelming apathy towards her 2006 Christmas album, Living Lohan star Ali continued to persevere with her pop career. But this limp and hopelessly generic attempt at synth R&B was never going to help her step outside the shadow of her jailbird sister.
Lindsay Lohan's warring parents have finally made peace for the sake of their four children after years of bitter fighting. Michael and Dina Lohan, who divorced in 2007, decided to put an end to their longrunning feud on Wednesday (30May13) as they met for dinner in Hollywood and cleared the air in a bid to mend their broken relations.
Michael Lohan, who recently became a father again with his fiancee Kate Major, tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "It was an absolute blessing. A long time coming.
"We both want to put our differences aside (so we) can be there for our children."
The reconciliation comes weeks after the Mean Girls star's dad settled his outstanding child support bill with Dina and admitted he was working on "making things right" with his ex and their kids, Lindsay, Michael, Ali and Dakota.
Lindsay is currently undergoing court-ordered treatment at the Betty Ford clinic in California as part of her plea deal for lying to police officers about a traffic accident last year (12).
Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has handed over more than $30,000 (£19,354) to the actress' mother in child support payments. Dina Lohan and her ex-husband share four children - the Mean Girls actress and her three younger siblings Michael, Ali and Dakota - but the 50 year old headed to court last month (Apr13) to ask a judge to hold Michael Lohan in contempt as he reportedly failed to pay the required maintenance.
Michael Lohan has now sent a cheque for $30,422 (£19,627) to his ex and he tells TMZ.com, "I admit I withheld part of (Dakota's) child support because I was angry about certain things that were happening... I was wrong and I'm making things right with Dina and my children."
Over the weekend Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon simply could not believe that a police officer did not know How Do You Know star Reese Witherspoon.
Reese Witherspoon (I keep repeating her name, lest I ever dare forget it) was arrested on Friday night, alongside her husband Jim Toth, who was pulled over for reckless driving. When Witherspoon, the passenger in this incident, refused to stay seated in the car, she antagonized the arresting officer by saying things like, "Do you know my name? ... You’re about to find out who I am ... You are going to be on national news."
Well, as obnoxious as those intoxicated statements are, she wasn't exactly wrong about that last part, as this story continues to make headlines. Not that celebrities behaving as though they are above the rest of us or the law is news. Don't you know who these stars who ask heathens who dared to question them, "Don't you know who I am?" Yep, we definitely know who you are now: jerks.
In addition to Reese Witherspoon and pre-arrest rant (she has since apologized), here are some other celebs that can't believe you didn't know/care who they were:
Miley 'It's Miley!' Cyrus
Back in 2009 the always-accurate New York Post claimed that the singer-actress snapped at a Pop Burger employee who had the gall to ask for her name with her order. The star allegedly told the cashier, "Are you serious? You don't recognize me? I'm Miley Cyrus!" C'mon Miley, that's nothing to get upset about. Getting no pickles when you specifically asked for pickles is something to get upset about.
Alec 'I'll Play Words With Friends Wherever I Damn Well Please' Baldwin
FAA rules and regulations be damned, Alec Baldwin is Alec Baldwin and he should be allowed to stay on his cell phone when he damn well feels like it. The 30 Rock actor was kicked off an American Airlines flight in 2009 after refusing to stop playing Words With Friends on the plane, even though he's... you know, famous.
Allen 'I Can't Believe You Don't Know Who I Am' Iverson
Wait, Allen Iverson is obnoxious and pompous? Who knew? Oh right, everyone. Especially the police that pulled him over back in 2011. According to CNN, the police report said that the basketball star told the officers, "Take the vehicle, I have 10 more. Police don't have anything else (expletive) to do except (expletive) with me...Do you know who I am?"
Dina 'Don't You Know Who I Loh-am' Lohan
US Weekly reported back in 2009 that Mother of the Century Dina Lohan yelled at a bouncer for not letting her and her young daughters Lindsay Lohan and Ali Lohan into a nightclub. Lohan allegedly pulled the old "Do you know who I am?” and then quoted Pretty Woman by adding, "You’re making a huge mistake. Huge!”
Tara 'Read All About It, I'm Famous' Reid
The New York Post, who seems to break all the 'Don't you know who I am?!' news, also got the scoop on Tara Reid allegedly flipping out that her fame didn't get her a discount at a store in Los Angeles. She was so upset by not getting the Famous Person Frequent Shopper discount that she made a scene and had to be escorted out.
Piers 'Don't You Know You Can Find This in the Discount Bin at Barnes & Noble' Morgan
We'd like to think this is a tongue-in-cheek riff on celebrity culture with a book title like Don't You Know Who I Am?... but this is the high-and-mighty Piers Morgan we're talking about here.

In our quest to bring you the best TV content, sometimes we have to look... backwards. That's why we have TV Throwback Thursday, wherein each week our staff of pop culture enthusiasts will be tasked with bringing back some of the best television clips that have been forgotten by time, space and the general zeitgeist.
This week, in honor of Lindsay Lohan's guest stint on Anger Management, we're taking a trip down memory lane with the rehab-bound starlet, honoring her innocent small-screen days of yore.
Another World: Lohan made her grand debut in '96 on Another World as Allison "Ali" Fowler. Lohan was a workhorse, delivering more dialogue than any other ten-year-old at the time.

Bette: Next, Lohan appeared in the pilot episode of Bette Midler's self-titled sitcom, Bette, as the superstar's teenaged daughter. She quit due to the long commute between New York and Los Angeles.
That '70s Show: By the time Lohan returned to scripted TV in 2005, she was a bona fide celeb. Coming off one of her first hospital visits for "exhaustion," she appeared in a guest spot opposite then-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama on That '70s Show. She played a love interest for his unlucky-in-love character, Fez.
Ugly Betty: In 2008, Lohan's recurring guest spot on Ugly Betty was reduced from six to four episodes due to bad behavior, and a reported clash with the show's star America Ferrera.
Glee: Lohan played herself on Glee in 2012, as part of a rebranding effort. However, rumors of bad on-set behavior again tarnished her reputation.
Well, that's about it, folks. Do you think Lohan has what it takes to make (another) comeback on Anger Management tonight? Shout it out in the comments!

Teen Mom prototype and celebrity sibling Jamie Lynn Spears announced on her Instagram account on Saturday night that she's getting engaged. Good for her! The only problem is that the guy who she's getting hitched to is also named Jamie. Yes, his name is Jamie Watson. And the guy walking her down the aisle (i.e. her father) is also named Jamie Spears. And her mother Lynn Spears will be there too. Can't the people in this family find other names? It probably reminds your mom of that old Laugh-In joke "If Lady Bird Johnson married Larry Bird, she'd be Lady Bird Bird!"

It's not that bad for Jamie Lynn, 21, (gosh, these Spears sisters waste no time getting to the altar) and her husband-to-be Jamie, 30, though. At least one has that extra Lynn to haul around so everyone can tell them apart. Congrats to the happy couple, who live in Nashville (where Jamie Lynn is still trying to be a country star) and Lousiana so they can be close to Britney and Jamie Lynn's daughter's school. Rumor has it that her bridesmaids will be Ali Lohan, Hailey Duff, Ashlee Simpson. Calm down, we're just foolin'.

The tot was born as the actress was leaving court in Los Angeles after the latest hearing into allegations she lied to police officers investigating a traffic accident she was involved in last year (12).
Reality TV star Michael and his bride-to-be have named their firstborn Landon Major Lohan.
TMZ.com reports the proud new dad was by his fiancee's side throughout the delivery.
As well as Lindsay, Michael Lohan has a daughter, Ali, and two sons, Cody and Michael, Jr., from his marriage to ex-wife Dina. He also fathered a lovechild with a former mistress, Kristi Horn. A televised DNA test last year (12) proved he was the biological father of her daughter Ashley, 17.
