Rapper Nicki Minaj has mysteriously pushed the release of her new single Anaconda back a week.
The Starships hitmaker was planning on unveiling her track on Monday (28Jul14), but fans will have to wait until 4 August (14) to hear her new music.
Taking to Instagram.com on Sunday (27Jul14), Minaj posted a photo of her controversial cover art for Anaconda and added the caption, "My darlingz (sic), I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu (sic)".
On Thursday (24Jul14), Minaj unveiled the cover for the single, which features the voluptuous star crouching down with her back towards the camera, wearing only a pink sports bra, blue Air Jordan sneakers, and a barely-there thong, exposing her bare butt.
Since posting the shot, a number of critics have taken aim at her for showing too much skin, but she shot back with her own defence in a series of pictures posted on Instagram.
Minaj posted photos of Sports Illustrated cover girls including Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, who are all prominently posing with tiny bikini bottoms and showing off their rear ends, along with a caption, "Acceptable".
She then reposted the Anaconda cover art and wrote, "Unacceptable".
Leading ladies Sandra Bullock and Rihanna were among those feted with top honours at the annual 2014 Guys Choice Awards. The ceremony, honouring all things men love, was filmed on Saturday (07Jun14) in Culver City, California, and aired in America on Wednesday (11Jun14) to reveal the full list of winners, which included some of Hollywood's standout women.
The first award of the night went to Rihanna for Most Desirable Woman, and during her acceptance speech she quipped, "Thank you for voting me for this at 26 (years old) because it all goes downhill from here."
Oscar winner Bullock was lauded with the biggest honour of the night with the Decade of Hotness award, and three of her former leading men, Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, and Keanu Reeves, were on hand to present her with the trophy.
Accepting the prize, Bullock said, "I feel like I'm at my funeral. Decade of hotness? My question is, what decade? Because I have several under my belt.
"It really should be Decade of Hot Mess, that I can own. I do that well. And I'm still convinced because someone dropped out."
Bullock's A Time To Kill co-star McConaughey was voted the Guy of the Year, while Johnny Knoxville earned the Guycon - Guy Icon - prize, Kevin Hart won King of Comedy, and The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus was named the Biggest A** Kicker.
Other winners included Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg (Primetime), comedy duo Key & Peele (Hottest Couple), Blurred Lines video vixen Emily Ratajkowski (Our New Girlfriend), and Sports Illustrated swimsuit models Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge (Holy Grail of Hot).
Mark Wahlberg earned two prizes, with the Brotherly Love trophy along with siblings Donnie and Paul Wahlberg, and the Troops Choice, which was voted by members of the U.S. military, honouring him and Lone Survivor author Marcus Luttrell.
Stars including Aaron Paul, Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Kit Harrington, and Jessica Alba turned out to the ceremony, where golden antler statues were handed out to the winners.
Sandra Bullock was reunited with her leading movie men Matthew Mcconaughey, Keanu Reeves and Hugh Grant on Saturday (07Jun14) as she was honoured at the Guys Choice Awards in California. The Gravity actress was feted with the Decade of Hotness prize at the annual Spike TV event, and her former co-stars turned out to salute her at the Culver City ceremony.
Grant, who appeared alongside Bullock in 2002's Two Weeks Notice, revealed he was in awe at how the Oscar winner had gone from "sneaky hot" to just "hot", while McConaughey admitted he had always found his A Time to Kill co-star's collarbone sexy and Reeves couldn't stop gushing about his Speed and The Lake House co-star when it was his turn to pay tribute to his pal.
They then invited Bullock, who wore a form-fitting strapless pink minidress, up to the podium and presented her with a beauty queen-style sash, a tiara, a bouquet of red roses and her award, which featured a pair of golden antlers.
Accepting the honour, the 49 year old quipped, "I feel like I'm at my funeral. Decade of Hotness... My question was what decade? I have several under my belt. It should really be Decade of Hot Mess. That I can own and I do that well and I'm still convinced I'm up here because someone dropped out and they needed someone quickly and we know I'm home on Saturdays."
Meanwhile, comedian Kevin Hart joked about Rihanna's demure black dress as he presented the singer with the award for Most Desirable Woman, days after she bared almost all in a sheer dress at the CFDA Awards in New York, telling the audience, "How many men are mad that she didn't come naked?"
Responding to the comment in her acceptance speech, the singer replied, "I knew pervs (sic) like you would be here at the Guys Choice Awards!"
Other winners included McConaughey (Guy of the Year), Mark Wahlberg (Troops Choice Award), The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus (Biggest A** Kicker) and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover models Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal and Chrissy Teigen, who collected the Holy Grail of Hot Award.
Singer Leann Rimes has recreated the racy front cover of Sports Illustrated's 2014 Swimsuit Issue. Models Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal starred in the magazine's famous swimwear issue in a steamy shot showing them posing topless with their backs to the camera.
On Tuesday (27May14), Rimes shared a picture on her Twitter.com page showing herself and two friends copying the seductive pose, alongside the caption, "Models in training @SInow (Sports Illustrated) sequel #happymemorialdayboys #wetryhard #having fun."
Justin Bieber's one-time video love interest, Cailin Russo, has landed a spot as a new face of beach and surfwear company Op. The model appears alongside Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl Nina Agdal and Dallas star Josh Henderson in Op's new budget Sunshine State of Mind campaign.
Russo made a name for herself last year (13) when she locked lips with Bieber in his All That Matters promo.
"So proud of my beautiful wife Chrissy Teigen!!! 50th Anniversary SI Cover Girl!!!" Singer John Legend is proud of his model wife after she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine's 50th anniversary swimsuit issue. She shares the honour with fellow models Lily Aldridge and Nina Agdal.
British pop star Max George has reportedly ended his romance with model Nina Agdal after less than six months of dating. The Wanted star befriended Adam Levine's ex-girlfriend after appearing together in an advertising campaign for fashion brand Buffalo over a year ago, and they became a couple last August (13).
However, the pair has since parted ways, according to Britain's Sun on Sunday newspaper.
A source says, "They just wanted different things out of the relationship and had grown slightly apart."
The news emerges a week after Agdal was photographed leaving a New York club with Leonardo DiCaprio after celebrating the Super Bowl last Sunday (02Feb14).
The split will mark a fresh start for George as he prepares to embark on an indefinite hiatus from The Wanted following the completion of their upcoming tour.
Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal has landed her first real acting role in the new Entourage movie. The stunner, who was photographed on set in Miami, Florida on Thursday (16Jan14), will play Adrian Grenier's love interest in the upcoming film adaptation of the hit TV series. She previously made her big screen debut in last year's (13) Don Jon, in which she appeared briefly as a supermodel in a commercial.
"I saw Nina on a billboard in New York and I obviously thought she was very beautiful and then we ended up bumping into each other a few months later in L.A. and we became friends for a long time and eventually (we embarked on a romance)... She's awesome and I'm really happy and I finally feel settled now." The Wanted star Max George first fell in love with his model girlfriend Nina Agdal after spotting her on a big advertisement for Aerie lingerie in the Big Apple.
The Wanted's Max George has confessed his drinking problem was to blame for his split with Michelle Keegan. The British pop star proposed to actress Keegan in 2011, but the couple ended the engagement the following year (12).
George has remained silent on the cause of the split ever since and Keegan is now engaged to marry U.K. reality TV star Mark Wright while George is dating model Nina Agdal.
But the singer has now told Britain's The Sun newspaper that his problems with drink played a big role in the breakdown of the couple's relationship.
He says, "I had a real problem with drinking too much and that was, without doubt, the downfall of our relationship. It made me a different person, even if I didn't think it at the time. I can't even remember some of the two years I was with her because I was getting drunk every night... I was drinking more to forget that fact that I was with someone who wasn't making me that happy."
