Rapper Kanye West gave a nod to Drake as he stood in for the star at Britain's Wireless Festival on Saturday (05Jul14) by performing three of his pal's songs. The Stronger hitmaker took Drake's place at the top of the bill after the Canadian rapper pulled out due to illness, and he marked the moment with renditions of the sick star's hits All Me, Headlines and We Made It.
West told the crowd, "My homeboy Drake can't be here but we still gotta rep (represent) for him tonight."
However, West's performance was again blighted by booing from the crowd as he launched into a rambling monologue about his public image.
West faced a similar response during his own headline set at the festival on Friday (04Jul14) when large sections of the crowd jeered him during a 20-minute rant.
Other stars to perform at Wireless on Saturday included Chance The Rapper, Rudimental, and Azealia Banks. Sunday's (06Jul14) bill includes a headline performance in London from Bruno Mars while West will play at the Birmingham, England leg of the event.
Hip-hop star T.I. has slammed rapper Azealia Banks after she fired off a number of online insults poking fun at his wife, Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle. Banks has taken issue with the lyrics to the Whatever You Like hitmaker's new single No Mediocre, and decided to take less-than-subtle shots at T.I. and former Xscape singer Cottle.
In a post on her Twitter.com blog, she quipped, "U want no mediocre but ... Have you seen your wife?"
The message was quickly deleted, but she continued to make disparaging remarks online on Tuesday (17Jun14) by referencing lyrics from No Mediocre, writing, "The n**ga shouting bad b**ches this bad b**ches that, is almost always at home with some busted bumpkin (sic)."
She went on to tweet, "But your wife has meth face... And your wife can't read", before challenging T.I. to "Come see me n**ga (confront her)".
Her multiple messages caught T.I.'s attention on Tuesday (17Jun14), when he took to his Instagram page to share a screen grab of a horned Banks from her Atlantis video, and suggested she quit insulting his family or face the consequences.
A furious T.I. wrote, "U musty-mouthed-thot-bot-bad-body-syphilis-lipped-rectum-vomit-unimportant-ugggggly-monstrosity-of-a-maggot-a** B**CCHHHH!!!!!! If u speak ill of my family again..... I WILL END YOU!!!!!! ... #NoBuuullls**t people fall down stairs daily.... U better watch yo step,u ugly-a** Gremlin-baby (sic)".
Banks, who has previously clashed with T.I. over her rap rival Iggy Azalea, who is his protege, refused to back down and responded by claiming she would be taking legal action against T.I. for his threatening post.
She tweeted, "Guess who's about to get sued for threatening me! N**gas Love Jail".
Well, things just got awfully real. After rapper T.I. released a new single titled "No Mediocre," Azealia Banks decided to take to Twitter to attack T.I.'s... wife? Poor, innocent, tiny, Tiny? This is so confusing. The original tweet has since been deleted but it read, "You want no mediocre...but have you seen your wife?"
But she deleted it moments too late, and T.I. took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the situation:
Someone should probably wash Tip's mouth out with some soap and water. Yikes: "U musty-mouthed-thot-bot-bad-body-syphilis-lipped-rectum-vomit-unimportant-ugggggly-monstrosity-of-a-maggot-ass BIIIIIIIITCCHHHH!!!!!! If u speak ill of my family again..... I WILL END YOU!!!!!! #OnPHIL#OnDOE #NoBuuulllshit people fall down stairs daily.... U better watch yo step,u ungly-ass Gremlin-baby #nerveofdisCretin#fuckouttahea"
After which yet another Twitter rant from Azealia Banks ensued. She wrote that T.I.'s wife Tiny has "meth face," and "can't read."
This also happened:
Although Azealia ended the rant claiming that the beef was "over," we have a feeling there's plenty more to hear about this one.

Rapper Azealia Banks has put her celebrity feuds behind her by offering an apology to all the stars she has offended. The 212 hitmaker was inspired to make amends with her rivals after performing at Los Angeles' 2014 Pride parade on Sunday (08Jun14).
After her set, she took to Twitter.com to thank her fans, writing, "I had such a good time at Pride today! The crowd showed me so much love I couldn't even take it." Banks then took the opportunity to send a peace offering to all those she has fallen out with in the past.
She didn't mention anyone by name, but she has previously made headlines by quarrelling with Lily Allen, Lil Kim, T.I., Iggy Azalea, Pharrell Williams and Rita Ora, and she came under fire for using a gay slur to describe celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
She continued, "I sincerely want to apologise to anyone who was hurt by the things I've said in the past... I won't go into it but you KNOW what I'm talking about. "It wasn't nice and it wasn't fair... I hope the entire LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, questioning) community will forgive me."
Rapper Ab-Soul is threatening to leak his long-awaited new album online after growing fed-up with label delays. The hip-hop star, a member of Kendrick Lamar's rap group Black Hippy, completed the follow-up to 2012's Control System in February (14), but label bosses at Top Dawg Entertainment have yet to set an official release date for the project.
The lack of progress has left Ab-Soul fuming and he reveals he is ready to just give his new music away to fans.
Venting his frustration on Twitter.com, he writes, "I'm this close to just leakin (sic) my s**t like its (sic) a mixtape..."
He isn't the only musician to threaten a rebellion against record executives - fellow rapper Azealia Banks also recently vowed to post her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, online for free in her longrunning battle with Universal Music Group chiefs.
British rocker Kele Okereke has written an open letter to Azealia Banks urging the controversial rapper to leak her long-awaited album to end a long-running fight with her record company over the release. Banks, whose debut single 212 was released in 2011, is frustrated by ongoing delays to her album Broke With Expensive Taste, and in March (14) she urged bosses at her record label Universal to release her from her contract and threatened to leak the disc herself.
Bloc Party frontman Okereke has now reached out to the rapper by writing an article titled "S**ew You All, I'm Still Rooting for Azealia Banks" which has been published on Noisey.com.
In the piece, he expresses sympathy for the star and encourages her to take control of her career.
He writes, "We don't know exactly what's happening with BWET (Broke With Expensive Taste) being delayed as we only have Azealia's word for it, not Universal's, but I do think it's safe to assume that negotiations between Ms Banks and her record label must be frosty, at the least...
"We can see that her leaking of Broke With Expensive Taste is probably her best chance to drum up interest in the record... If she has made a good record it is very possible that she can claw back a decent platform to make another record when the pressure is off."
Okereke closes the message by adding, "If you are reading this babes: Get this record out, make these summer shows the best they can be and then get your head down and start again from scratch. Don't lose heart, you still have it in you."
Rapper Azealia Banks is planning to leak her long-awaited debut album online for free next month (Apr14) following repeated delays over its official release. The 212 hitmaker's record Broke With Expensive Taste has been postponed several times since 2012 amid a feud with her record bosses at Universal, and in January (14), the 22 year old pleaded with label executives to let her go.
Taking to Twitter.com, she wrote, "I'm really in hell here. I've been gratefully riding off of mixtape fumes for the past two years. My fans really need some new music. Universal needs to just hand me over to another label who knows what to do with me. I'm tired of having to consult a group of old white guys about my black girl craft. They don't even know what they're listening for or to. Can someone at Sony buy me off of Universal please?? i'm really in hell here. I REALLY should have signed with Sony."
Now the rapper has risked the wrath of Universal chiefs once again, after deciding to release the music to fans herself.
She tweets, "Album leaks starting April 15th."
The announcement comes a week after Banks postponed her U.K. tour dates for the second time.
Rapper Azealia Banks has postponed her U.K. tour dates until the autumn (14). This is the second time the 212 hitmaker has rescheduled shows in Glasgow in Scotland and Birmingham, Manchester and London in England, which were set to kick-off later this month (Mar14).
The dates were originally scheduled for last November (13), but will now take place in September (14).
There is currently no rescheduled date for the Birmingham gig as of yet.
It is the latest setback for the 22 year old - her new album has been delayed since 2012 amid a feud with her record label bosses.
Lily Allen has vowed to quit criticising her fellow stars. The Smile hitmaker famously became embroiled in public feuds with singers Katy Perry and Cheryl Cole during the early stages of her career, and was last year (13) involved in a bitter online war-of-words with upcoming rapper Azealia Banks.
However, she has now promised to walk away from future spats to prove she has grown up.
She tells ShortList magazine, "I don't really care about b**ching about Katy Perry. To me, that was never my edge. That was just sensationalist s**t. I was young and I didn't know how the media worked. I haven't lost my edge. I just know what is f**king tabloid stupid sensational bulls**t and what isn't."
Rapper Azealia Banks' account on music streaming service SoundCloud.com has been shut down to due to copyright infringement issues. The 212 hitmaker reveals a dispute over her song F**k Up The Fun has prompted website bosses to block her access to her millions of followers, although she has not shared any further details.
In a post on her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "So I got a third copyright infringement on my soundcloud (sic) via 'f**k up the fun' and they terminated my account. All 2million (sic) followers, gone."
The 22 year old has not had the best of luck in her music career recently - in January (14), she asked bosses at her record label Universal to drop her from their roster after her debut album's release date was postponed several times.
