One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest star Louisa Moritz has become the latest woman to come forward accusing comedian Bill Cosby of allegedly taking advantage of her as a young actress. The Cosby Show star has been under scrutiny over the past 10 days as he has been hit with multiple accusations he was inappropriate with young females, including claims from model-turned-TV personality Janice Dickinson and actor Lou Ferrigno's wife Carla.
Now Moritz, who appeared opposite Jack Nicholson in the 1975 drama and also had a starring role in U.S. series Love American Style, joins the list of women who claim to have been assaulted by the veteran funnyman.
In an interview with TMZ.com, Moritz alleges the incident with Cosby happened during a visit to Johnny Carson's Tonight Show in 1971.
Moritz, now 68, tells the gossip site she never told anyone about it, and although America's statute of limitations on prosecutions has run out, she plans on filing a civil lawsuit against Cosby.
Cosby's lawyer has dismissed all of the sexual assault allegations, and the comedian's longtime producing partners Tom Werner and Marcy Carsey, who served as executive producers on Cosby's classic 1980s sitcom, insist they are shocked by the furore, since the man they know is a consummate professional.
Werner and Carsey released a statement on Thursday (20Nov14), which reads, "The Bill we know was a brilliant and wonderful collaborator on a show that changed the landscape of television. These recent news reports are beyond our knowledge or comprehension."
Werner and Cosby were in early development stages to create a new family-focused programme for the small screen, but bosses at America's NBC network decided to scrap the project amid the scandal.
Cosby first came under fire after funnyman Hannibal Buress revisited decades-old accusations by calling Cosby a rapist during a stand-up gig in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which prompted multiple women to speak out publicly about their alleged sexual interactions with Cosby.
He has never faced criminal charges, but reached an out-of-court settlement with a woman in 2006 after she accused him of drugging and groping her.
Iggy Azalea has blasted Eminem for rapping about raping her in the lyrics of a new track, revealing her 14-year-old brother is a huge fan of the Lose Yourself hitmaker. In a leaked snippet from Eminem's new song Vegas, the rapper appears to threaten to rape the Australian star, rhyming, "Put that s**t away Iggy/You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me/Scream!/I love it/'Fore I get lost with the gettin' off."
The Fancy star is far from impressed by the name check, and she has taken to Twitter.com to fire back at Eminem, stating, "im bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. zzzz (sic)."
She added, "its especially akward (sic) because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!"
Iggy's feud with Eminem comes just weeks after she and Snoop Dogg fell out when he poked fun at her looks in an online video, during which he made up his face so he looked white.
The war of words escalated to him threatening Azalea, by posting, "Say b**ch, you're f**king with the wrong n**ga and your n**ga better check you before I do, you funky b**ch."
That spat ended when Iggy's mentor T.I. played peace maker and urged Snoop to apologise.
Actress/TV host Rosie Perez is hoping actor Mickey Rourke will reconsider stepping back into the boxing ring at the age of 62, because she fears he is not up for the challenge. The Wrestler star is gearing up to hit the ring with 29-year-old Elliot Seymour in Moscow, Russia later this month (Nov14), but fight fan Perez is warning him to cancel the scrap.
In a segment on her U.S. talk show The View, Perez says, "He's fighting this young fighter and they love him in Moscow, as we all love Mickey Rourke, but I have to tell you, he was an amateur boxer and he tried to get back in the ring once he became an actor and he got his face beat in and that's the reason for his plastic surgery...
"I'm a little worried. You look to be in great shape and boxing is a wonderful sport, but I just want you to take care of yourself and think about it, because it's a tough sport."
Top TV producer Bill Bracken has defended Ariana Grande from reports of bad and difficult diva behaviour, insisting she was a consummate professional when she agreed to record a one-off duet with Canadian singer Michael Buble for his fourth annual Christmas concert special this December (14). The Home hitmaker has turned his love of all things festive into an annual TV treat for fans since 2011, and this season, he will be teaming up with pop star Grande to perform an as-yet-unannounced collaboration.
The Problem singer has faced a public backlash in recent weeks following a series of stories about her alleged "diva" behaviour, with reports suggesting she axed her Australian promotional tour because she was unhappy with a photoshoot, while a group of U.S. fans accused of being rude and stand-offish at a meet-and-greet session.
Grande previously brushed off the claims, insisting the "diva" label is actually a compliment, and now Bracken has spoken out about the rumours, admitting he has nothing but compliments about the 21 year old.
He tells the New York Post, "There's no bigger young star today than Ariana Grande. We've had a good relationship with her and flew to Vancouver, where she was performing, to organise this. She gets a bad rap as being difficult. She's not. She's great.
"(She) came on time, brought her own costumes - white short skirt and top for the solo, red dress for the duet - (she) was prepared, rehearsed. Two songs with Buble... performed 10 minutes after arriving - and out in an hour."
Michael Buble's Christmas special will air in America on 17 December (14). It will also feature an appearance by veteran entertainer Barbra Streisand, who recently recruited Buble to sing with her on her star-studded duets album, Partners.
Shonda Rhimes is a force of nature in television, thanks to writing and producing hit shows like Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and How to Get Away With Murder. She is also a trail blazer by putting a black woman in a leading role on a network station for the first time in almost 40 years. After all of these accomplishments, Shonda has rightfully accumulated a big fan base but there is a group of fans that are much stronger than the others.
1. You won't admit that Shonda emotionally blackmailed you into watching How To Get Away With Murder by casting Viola Davis. But then she gives away so much air time to the students (like the adorable Alfie Enoch)...what?!
2. You had a mental break down when Sandra Oh left Greys, but you came back and kept watching because--Shonda!
3. You forgave her every time she needlessly put your favorite characters in life or death situations.
4. You lost your social life on Thursday nights because you're totally engulfed in Shondaland.
5. Against better judgment you gave away your Thursday night shift without being traded a shift in return. To make this okay in your brain you just say...
6. You keep watching her shows even though she breaks up your favorite couple for the hundredth time.
7. You take Shonda's side with anyone she beefs with.
8. You stay up late to watch even though you have to get up early. You'll be grumpy, but no one will spoil the show for you.
9. You kept watching after Grey's Anatomy introduced a surprise that Meredith had a sister.
Only to kill her off...
and then introduce another surprise sister!!!!
10. You fan girled like nobody's business when Shonda appeared on The Mindy Project.
11. You already know the first thing you're going to say to her if you ever meet her.
12. This is your reaction to Shonda haters.
Oh Shonda, sometimes the drama of your shows really push us to the edge.
But WE LOVE YOU, WE REALLY, REALLY LOVE YOU!

Actress/singer Bette Midler has leaped to the defence of controversial pop stars Miley Cyrus and Rihanna, insisting their saucy dance moves are harmless.
The Beaches star admits she was shocked when she first saw young female singers 'twerking' in their pop promos, and feared standards of decency had fallen too far. However, she was subsequently watching 1980s music videos online and realized the booty-shaking dance moves are tame compared to past performers.
Midler tells U.K. TV show Loose Women, "The twerking, that's actually kind of an old thing... (The 1980s dancing was) way beyond what they do now. What they do now is whitewash, it really is. The first time I saw it I was really, really depressed - it's like, what is the world coming to? But, you know, the world has been around for a long time. A little twerking isn't going to kill anybody."
Madonna's dreams of turning Rebecca Walker's memoir into a major movie has been given a big boost - in-demand writer Dianne Houston has signed on to write the screenplay. Madonna, producer Bruce Cohen and Walker herself, the daughter of The Color Purple author Alice Walker, are currently seeking financial backers for Ade: A Love Story, which the pop superstar hopes to direct.
The film centres on an American student who falls in love with a young Muslim man on an island off the coast of Kenya.
When you think of The Office, you probably think about Michael Scott (Steve Carrell), Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer), or Jim Halpert (John Krasinski). Although many of the storylines surrounded them, fans found the show hilarious thanks to the delivery of little jokes from the supporting characters. The one that consistently shocked and made fans laugh was The Office's secret weapon, Creed Bratton an actor who played a character also named Creed Bratton. You could have easily forgotten that he was there, but once he was in front of the camera he captured your attention with his blunt and devious character.
1. He had unexpected outbursts.
2. He had the attitude we all want when we get old.
3. But he was young at heart.
4. He was the office's unexpected bad boy.
5. Like really, REALLY BAD...
6. We caught him in some pretty interesting situations.
7. He made crazy propositions.
8. He unexpectedly gave a spectacular quote about being a patriot.
9. When the work trip was announced he came back with the best response.
10. He took that self defense meeting a bit too seriously.
11. He sneakily got away with not really having a job.
12. He had the most interesting past.
13. You didn't expect it but he was a family man.
14. He was shockingly open about his fluid sexuality.
15. He had the best moves going down the aisle.
16. Although he sat at a computer all day, he didn't have a clue about technology.
17. There were three Jokers for Halloween, but he was no doubt the best!
18. He wasn't afraid to take risks to have fun.
19. He was also blunt about his bad traits.
20. He had the greatest response to Jim's nonesense.
21. He had the greatest exit on the show.
